The second thing that nurtures me today from this Good Morning Manna is being His always, even when things go wrong with my body, situations and plans. When I get a bad report about my body, my reaction usually causes my spirit to want to sink down into the pit of despair! Can you relate? It should be the opposite, like it was with Jesus! A strong spiritual-inner man dependency on God shows what is happening in the physical body, does not affect how our “inner man” responds to life. We are in this world, but we are surely not not of this world!
Think In Light Of This...
I guess you can think of it in light of a relationship twist that says this: “how people treat us should not affect how we love them”. It surely did not affect Jesus! He was treated so badly by people, yet always being God’s Son, He reacted in God’s character and how He loved those who persecuted Him, so completely, even though they were very undeserving! So true! I know! I am one of them!
