- Commits himself to be faithful! Hmmm, those words hit me hard because I realize I am not there yet. I am not faithful and steadfast in holding my Holy Ground. I give in to fear at times and I entertain thoughts in my mind that increase my anxiety. I need to shore up my good habits and get rid of my bad ones. Good: Need to faithfully depend on God in my all and everything, even in my thoughts!
- I still have a tendency to react in the flesh to my suddenly situations, instead of responding in the Spirit of my hearts commitment to You, Jesus. React- Respond. Alike in some way, but not totally similar. One is impulsive, the other is being prudent.
- Breaking old habits is hard. Impulsiveness does not yield peace, trust and standing your Holy Ground in hard times does. Help me Jesus! Teach me Holy Spirit how to change my impulsive nature and become more like Jesus in my all and everything!
Isaiah 41:10
So do not be afraid. I am with you. Do not be terrified. I am your God. I will make you strong and help you. My powerful right hand will take good care of you. I always do what is right.

- Lord, there is so much junk in this world and that is one of my fears that I won’t be able to stay on Holy Ground. You, Are Mighty To Keep Me! My Care-Giver! My Holy Ground!
- I love this promise because I realize that Your Holy Spirit will help me navigate through all the stuff of this world and always keep me on Holy Ground.
Luke 6:48-49
They are like someone who builds a house. He digs down deep and sets it on solid rock. When a flood comes, the river rushes against the house. But the water can't shake it. The house is well built. 49 "But here is what happens when people listen to my words and do not obey them. They are like someone who builds a house on soft ground instead of solid rock. The moment the river rushes against that house, it falls down. It is completely destroyed.

Groomsman Thoughts By Kimberlymac
- Holy Ground is where I want to stay, where I want to be grounded, founded in! At Your feet, bowed in humble awe of You.
- A ground without a foundation is probably not the best place to build a house on! Independent Pride, is this the soft ground that You are talking about that will not hold through the trials of this life? Hmmmm! Selah!
- Jesus keep me from being completely destroyed by impulsive, independent, pride that comes and goes in shallow bursts of humanism, wreaking havoc with the surface emotions of my soul.
- Father God, help me to live deeper than what is apparent, live deeper with You, beyond appearances through faith and by humble belief! I want to be someone who digs down deep and sets my life on the solid rock of Christ Jesus.
