Providential Care Anchors Us
We see it every day, but do we really notice? The maintenance of our God, the excellence of His care. Seeds planted, plants growing, plants flowering and then flowers producing fruit and vegetable. God’s provision, it is everywhere we look. The air we breathe, the plants growing daily. We see God’s Providential care in the strawberry patches, blueberry bushes, apple trees and vegetable gardens. Seed to life. He created, He maintains, His touch of Providential Care is all around us. Are we grateful or are we oblivious? Do we take everything we have been gifted with for granted, or do we see and thank? It depends on how much of the cares of this world we carry on our shoulders. Where have we taken on the role of God? This measures our distraction and the higher it is, the more we are blinded to the Providential Care of our God.
Consider the birds—do you think they worry about their existence? They don’t plant or reap or store up food, yet your heavenly Father provides them each with food. Aren’t you much more valuable to your Father than they? So, which one of you by worrying could add anything to your life? “And why would you worry about your clothing? Look at all the beautiful flowers of the field. They don’t work or toil, So if God has clothed the meadow with hay, which is here for such a short time and then dried up and burned, won’t he provide for you the clothes you need—you of little faith? “So then, forsake your worries! Why would you say, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ For that is what the unbelievers chase after. Doesn’t your heavenly Father already know the things your bodies require? “So above all, constantly seek God’s kingdom and his righteousness, then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly. Refuse to worry about tomorrow, but deal with each challenge that comes your way, one day at a time. Tomorrow will take care of itself. Matthew 6:26-28,30-34
God’s Purpose Anchors Us
The Word of God, it is a spiritual seed which God has given us to plant into our heart, so we grow in likeness of Him and we bloom in righteous character, right thinking, right doing, right living being wholly-holy His. The Bible is truly transformational, God’s Holy Spirit empowers it and it changes us in ways that we could never begin to imagine. When we face challenges, the God wisdom contained in the Word of God is great. Every challenge we face, the purpose of God embedded in the challenge is greater than the challenge itself and it leans us into the Word of God, changing us, changing our character to be more like Jesus, anchored in His Truth. When you abide under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of God Most High. He’s the hope that holds me and the stronghold to shelter me, the only God for me, and my great confidence. He will rescue you from every hidden trap of the enemy, and he will protect you from false accusation and any deadly curse. His massive arms are wrapped around you, protecting you. You can run under his covering of majesty and hide. His arms of faithfulness are a shield keeping you from harm. Psalms 91:1-4
Guard Your Heart ~ Anchor It
We are anchored, with deep roots of truth as we put our identity wholly-holy in Christ and stay in a vital-vertical relationship with Him. We listen up to God first, giving no one permission to speak into our lives first but Him. In fact, we give no one permission to speak into our lives at all if God is not speaking into their life. We guard our hearts diligently and that is why the storms of deception do not uproot our faith, and that is why we bloom in right living in a time where right is lifted up as wrong, and wrong is lifted up as right. Yes, we still stand on the side of truth no matter what we have to endure, we will hold the line of truth.
Truth Anchors Us
There is a tug of war between truth and lies and it affects us all. Deception is so prevalent in our times. One thing is for sure, it is overwhelming, all the evil that is being exposed and expunged by God in times such as these. It is disheartening to learn about how far the human condition fell. It shakes us, our inner spiritual core, trembles with anxiety at times, especially because there is no break from the cultural chaos continually roaring, as we are daily confronted by the father of lies.
The Holy Spirit Anchors Us
The Holy Spirit of God is our Advocate and He, being with us at all times will navigate us through this time of deception. We can breathe in the Truth of God daily, as we study and mediate with our Bible, our anchor of truth that will hold. We can stand on the side of truth when everyone else around us is chaotically roaring in deception. (Look At Elijah: 1 Kings 18:17-39 Read It) Our anchor of truth will hold us, no doubt about it. We are highly encouraged to trust in the power of God’s Word, and stand unmoved, as it can and will stand the test of time, it will endure the pounding of deception in times such as these. Truth will win the tug of war with lies and we will stand victorious upon God’s Word. Be Strongly Anchored
We can step out and stand on the side of truth, even though the world violently tugs on us with thugs and mob violence, erratically and irrationally pushing forth a fake reality with fear, attacking us with physical threats, and financial ruin. Yet, we stand, we stand in unity with God and His Truth, we depend upon the Holy Spirit of God to make a way for us when our worldly viewpoint shows no way of truth. Together, we are so good, so we make the choice to learn and live with a Kingdom perspective, a reliance upon God, giving God total access to our lives. We say no to living by emotion and feelings, and yes to living by fact and truth. God is greater and more powerful than our enemy who attacks our reputation, finances, future, and hope with false narratives and outright lies about who we are and what we do. The truth of God roars from His Holy Spirit defeating the enemy. Learn to Roar like Jesus did with the full glory of God’s Kingdom aglow in Him.
Hold The Line ~ Anchored In Truth
We give those stuck in a fake reality no permission to speak into our lives, and we hold the line of truth, we position ourselves under the Rulership of God’s Love. In this tug of war, we will feel exhaustion, but as we dig our life roots deeper in God’s Kingdom. And in the yielding to God, the letting God lead, we will know a strength like no other, a courage like no other, a boldness like no other and we will be able to share truth and love with our enemy is a way we never could imagine doing. On this day of incredible controversy for the truth of God, we breathe in the power of the Holy Spirit, and we exhale, anxiety, fear, and weakness as we choose God and His Kingdom perspective, over this world and its corruptive illegitimate authority. We hold the line of truth and our anchor will hold. Breathe in God in all of His glory and exhale, doubt, worry, and depression. We are anchored in Jesus Christ and our anchor will hold and joyfully, we will go about God’s business, and we will grow through the times such as these, and we will finish well.
