God, you’re such a safe and powerful place to find refuge! You’re a proven help in time of trouble—more than enough and always available whenever I need you. So we will never fear even if every structure of support were to crumble away. We will not fear even when the earth quakes and shakes, moving mountains and casting them into the sea. God Stands In-Between Us And Our Enemy
Yes, Our God stands in-between us and our enemy. God’s got us. God stands in front of our enemy protecting us, and providing for us strength, wisdom, hope, and peace as we grow through the storms of this chaotic culture, we find ourselves having to navigate our lives through a lot of cultural chaos. Our God is stately, honorable, trustworthy, powerful, and faithful to us and our families. Even if the enemy comes in like a flood, our God raises up a standard of truth against our enemy, and holds back the tide of desire to kill, steal and destroy the foundation of the nuclear family. You’re my place of quiet retreat, and your wraparound presence becomes my shield as I wrap myself in your Word! Go away! Pray For Your Family
Father God, be the quiet place of retreat for our family in these hectic times of cultural chaos. Jesus, be the shield of each one of our family members as you wraparound protection from the evil one. Strengthen the inner spiritual core of my family members, give them strengthen to live faithfully by faith. Light the pathway of my family Lord Jesus, step by step, moment to choice with the truth. Thank you Jesus for standing in-between our family and the enemy of our soul. We know that times are hard, but we also know that You are with us, our Conqueror is with our family!
I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.] John 16:33
The Nuclear Family Is Under Attack
In-between our family and our enemy stands a King, His name is Jesus. He is our rock of safety, a powerful defense, and our strong tower. Our society is broken by the pounding waves of deception, wickedness, evil and the enemy of our soul using people, serving no power higher than self gain. The consequences of their sins bear heavily upon our family life, yet God’s Word still stands, God’s Will for us, still stands. Our God has not abdicated His authority to evil. The enemy wants to steal, destroy, and kill the nuclear family, but God says NO! NO! STOP! You can only go this far and He stands in-between us. Awe-GOD! Jesus knows these times will be hard on our family, but He has assured us that He has overcome this present evil and its power to harm our family. Listen Up To This 1 Minute Encouragement Video:
When the servant of the man of God rose early and went out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was around the city. Elisha’s servant said to him, Alas, my master! What shall we do? [Elisha] answered, Fear not; for those with us are more than those with them. Then Elisha prayed, Lord, I pray You, open his eyes that he may see. And the Lord opened the young man’s eyes, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. 2 Kings 6: 15-17
Lean Into God’s Sovereign Sway
God’s ways are higher than our ways and we can’t even begin to wrap our minds around what He is doing in the unseen. We need to patiently endure these hard times, waiting in trust of God, knowing that God’s Providential Care is in play, His purposes for good for our family and for His glory are being worked out in the unseen. God is standing in-between our family and our enemy, and as we sway in the breezes of our enemy, as he stirs up the whirlwinds trying to trick us to us to step into them, we can choose to step into the chaos of the whirlwind, or we can lean out of the mischief of our enemy, and lean into God’s Sovereign sway, moving with the wind of The Holy Spirit of God.
Pray For Your Family
Open our spiritual eyes Lord Jesus, that we might see and know that You are with our family in this season of cultural chaos. Lord, times are hard for families in this season and it doesn’t seem to be getting better, help us to trust You as we wait on Your rescue. Help us not to step into the whirlwinds of our enemy. Keep our family from being deceived by the enemy of our soul, keep us on the path of Your truth. Jesus, we believe in You, help our family members to believe You, to take You at your word.
Suddenly, the word of the Lord came to him, and he said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” He replied, “I have been very zealous for the Lord God of Armies, but the Israelites have abandoned your covenant, torn down your altars, and killed your prophets with the sword. I alone am left, and they are looking for me to take my life.”Then he said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the Lord’s presence.” At that moment, the Lord passed by. A great and mighty wind was tearing at the mountains and was shattering cliffs before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake there was a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire there was a voice, a soft whisper. When Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood at the entrance of the cave. 1 Kings 19:10-13
Times Will Be Hard~ But God Is With Our Family
Those that choose to step into the whirlwinds of the enemy, their souls are beat unmercifully by the enemies compassionless pounding, and the righteousness of God will flood in and make a way for the just deserts for his enemies and justice. These are seriously perilous times and we need to stay obedient to the Lord’s navigation, staying behind the Lord God, in followship of Him, In times such as these, the way will be rough, but He will continue to stand in-between us and the enemies desire for us and He will make a way for us when there seems to be no way and work things out for us in ways we could not even begin to hope for or imagine, a way where everything works out in the end for our good and for His great glory.
Pray For Your Family
Jesus, protect us during these times of deception, chaos and lack. These are rough times for our family, our enemy is wreaking havoc with our countries and the cultural chaos is overwhelming our soul. Be our Navigator Holy Spirit, be the soul peace of our family as we choose to trust in Your faithfulness to our family.
God looked and saw evil looming on the horizon—so much evil and no sign of Justice. He couldn’t believe what he saw: not a soul around to correct this awful situation. So he did it himself, took on the work of Salvation, fueled by his own Righteousness. He dressed in Righteousness, put it on like a suit of armor, with Salvation on his head like a helmet, Put on Judgment like an overcoat, and threw a cloak of Passion across his shoulders. He’ll make everyone pay for what they’ve done: fury for his foes, just desserts for his enemies. Even the far-off islands will get paid off in full. In the west they’ll fear the name of God in the east they’ll fear the glory of God, For he’ll arrive like a river in flood stage, whipped to a torrent by the wind of God. Isaiah 59
When Everything Starts Shaking
So if everything you know is shaking all around you as the enemy pounds sand, do not fear, God stands in-between the enemies plan to kill, steal and destroy and He says to the enemy: “STOP right there, you have no more permission to go another step, you have no more permission to speak into these lives. I AM, Their Way, Their Truth And Their Life!” Jesus! Because the enemy has surrounded us on all sides, fear can evoke panic and panic leans us into impulsive choices that can hurt our family. God is with us from every moment to every choice, so slow your roll when it seems like the enemy is stirring up chaos, wait on God, He will light the way of your next step. God stands in-between our family and the enemy of our soul and our Way-Maker God will make a way of escape for us.
