Abba Father

“The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit. And you did not receive the “spirit of religious duty,” leading you back into the fear of never being good enough. But you have received the “Spirit of full acceptance,” enfolding you into the family of God. And you will never feel orphaned, for as he rises up within us, our spirits join him in saying the words of tender affection, “Beloved Father!” For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost being, “You are God’s beloved child!” Romans 8:14-16 TPT

“Prayer is more than thoughts and feelings expressed in words. It is the opening of mind and heart – our whole being to God our Abba Father. It is Divine Union. Richard J. Foster

ABBA FATHER WE CELEBRATE YOU

We just celebrated Thanksgiving where we testified and declared our thanksgiving to our God and this ushers in the Peace of Christmas. Thanksgiving precludes peace, as stirring up gratefulness in our soul is a pathway to peace. Jesus, our Prince of Peace, we praise You, and on this day we say: Abba Father and we yield our lives to God. Listen Up To This 1 Minute Encouragement Video

“THUS SAYS the Lord to His anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held to subdue nations before him, and I will unarm and ungird the loins of kings to open doors before him, so that gates will not be shut. I will go before you and level the mountains [to make the crooked places straight]; I will break in pieces the doors of bronze and cut asunder the bars of iron. And I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, Who calls you by your name.” Isaiah 45:1-3 AMPC

ABBA FATHER WE PRAY TO YOU

Jesus is the right to our wrong, He is able to take the ‘keel” of our human condition, the crooked places of our life and straighten them out. Jesus can take a broken heart and make it whole again, He can heal us from the inside out in that way no one or nothing else can. We may think we are not “enough” but God sees us as that perfect creation that uniquely made and shaped human being that He has designed for a purpose in a time such as this. We are enough in Christ Jesus. This truth of God will make our crooked places straight so soak this scripture in your soul:

“You formed my innermost being, shaping my delicate inside and my intricate outside, and wove them all together in my mother’s womb. I thank you, God, for making me so mysteriously complex! Everything you do is marvelously breathtaking. It simply amazes me to think about it! How thoroughly you know me, Lord! You even formed every bone in my body when you created me in the secret place; carefully, skillfully you shaped me from nothing to something. You saw who you created me to be before I became me! Before I’d ever seen the light of day, the number of days you planned for me were already recorded in your book. Every single moment you are thinking of me! How precious and wonderful to consider that you cherish me constantly in your every thought! O God, your desires toward me are more than the grains of sand on every shore! When I awake each morning, you’re still with me.”Psalms 139:13-18 TPT

ABBA FATHER WE YIELD TO YOUR WILL

This Christmas season, may we yield our lives wholly-holy to Jesus, take that step to being all-in with Jesus, so our heart belongs to Him first and foremost and our allegiances are set, seeded in His Kingdom soil. Take these next days up until Christmas Day and shed everything that keeps Him from being the ALL of Your everything. Enthrone Jesus on the throne of your heart, making Him the only God of your life, Your future and hope, and let the newness of Christmas morning dawn on a heart, spirit, soul totally yielded to God. “PRAISE THE Lord! (Hallelujah!) O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever! [I Chron. 16:34.] Who can put into words and tell the mighty deeds of the Lord? Or who can show forth all the praise [that is due Him]? Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are those who observe justice [treating others fairly] and who do right and are in right standing with God at all times.” Psalm 106:1-3 AMPC
