Common Sense

Everyone admires a wise, sensible person, but the treacherous walk on the path of ruin. Everything a wise and shrewd man does comes from a source of revelation-knowledge, but the behavior of a fool puts foolishness on parade! An undependable messenger causes a lot of trouble, but the trustworthy and wise messengers release healing wherever they go. Proverbs 13:15-17

Use Your God Given Common Sense

What does your common sense tell you? Is common sense truth? Do you follow after the leading of your God given common sense? Do you let people speak into your life who you know God doesn’t speak into theirs, or who you don’t even know? We should not give people permission to speak into our lives who God has no permission to speak into their life.  This is Common Sense!  A really good bite of wisdom is this:  Lean out of the mediatic false frenzy of the main stream media, and lean into God-given common sense.  Who do we listen too? Do we listen to our gut? What does your gut say? (Gibbs) What does your God given “Common Sense Say”? Sometimes we hear these false narratives that make our common-sense cringe. We instantly know it is foolishness and deceptive trickery. God has given us common sense and we should use it so we are not deceived to step into someone else’s fake reality.

I will instruct you and show you the way to go; with my eye on you, I will give counsel. Do not be like a horse or mule, without understanding, that must be controlled with bit and bridle or else it will not come near you. Many pains come to the wicked, but the one who trusts in the Lord will have faithful love surrounding him. Psalms 32:8-10

Is Clarity A Rarity In Your Life

Deception creates a maze of crooked paths and it can be so confusing when we are trying to find our way through all the cultural say so. We can see where we need to get to, we have the God given vision of where our point A is to where we need to get to our point B. On our own in this world, where there is not much truth being spoken, it can be hard for us to navigate from point A to point B on someone’s opinion, assumption, speculation, rationalization, and mediatic false frenzy.  It can be downright dangerous for us! In times such as these, our cultural chaos is wild with deception, lies are spewed everywhere, and false narrative, with the edge of fake reality, makes clarity a rarity. We need to diligently listen up to God first, this needs to be a spiritual discipline we don’t let fade away in times such as these where distraction is at an all-time high and deception is everywhere.

“Naturally, we are inclined to be so mathematical and calculating that we look upon uncertainty as a bad thing…Certainty is the mark of the common-sense life. To be certain of God means that we are uncertain in all our ways, we do not know what a day may bring forth. This is generally said with a sigh of sadness; it should rather be an expression of breathless expectation.” Oswald Chambers

Twisted Mess Of Crooked Paths = No Clarity

This world has more relative reality than reality of truth. It is all relative. Do what you feel like doing. Feelings over facts. There are no right and wrong ways, it is all relative, and then to top off the stupidity, sometimes there is right and wrong, but they are only someone’s opinions. It is crazy that in our cultural say-so of the day, right is defined as wrong and wrong is defined as right. What a twisted-up mess of crooked paths that following after relative thinking creates as it makes it impossible for us to navigate and grow through from point A in the culture worldview, to point B where God is with a Kingdom Perspective. Deception is rampant in our society, so we don’t have much of a choice than to try to navigate around it, because the way is broad with rationalization and the narrow path of truth is hard to find and rarely travelled. Listen up to this 1 Minute Encouragement Video which will give you specific wisdom to help you not stumble, but grow through:

Go ahead and make all the plans you want, but it’s the Lord who will ultimately direct your steps. We are all in love with our own opinions, convinced they’re correct. But the Lord is in the midst of us, testing and probing our every motive. Before you do anything, put your trust totally in God and not in yourself. Then every plan you make will succeed. The Lord works everything together to accomplish His purpose, even the wicked are included in His plans, He sets them aside for the day of disaster. Proverbs 16:1-3

The Perfect Navigator

Christ in us, the hope of finishing well. This is why we smile, and confidently take our first God enlightened step into the maze of confusion of our cultural chaos, because we yielded our way to “The Navigator” Who knows all. In these times, our first step out, should be bowed in heart before our God, making that crucial vital-vertical relationship connection with God. Armor Up! (Ephesians 6) We can hope in the dark, because Jesus is the light of Truth, Who can and will light our path, one step at a time. We won’t be stuck without navigation in a maze of crooked paths. We will know the direction to take. God will say: This is the way, walk in it. God has not left us without a Navigator. God’s Holy Spirit will direct us. We need to listen up to the perfect Advocate, God’s Holy Spirit, Who is able to navigate us, chart our course on this day.
