Awe

Hope is my heavenly mirror, reflecting the glory of God from here to there unto forever through my heart to heart praises of Him. I stand in Awe of God. KimberlyMac

Ephesians 1:11-12 Through our union with Christ we too have been claimed by God as his own inheritance. Before we were even born, he gave us our destiny; that we would fulfill the plan of God who always accomplishes every purpose and plan in his heart. God’s purpose was that we Jews, who were the first to long for the messianic hope, would be the first to believe in the Anointed One and bring great praise and glory to God! TPT

Develop Your Awe of God

It is heart to heart with God, we walk in the fulfillment of His plan for us. We put our identity in Christ and we praise Him for Who He is. We were made for praise, and for bringing praise to God, as the Kingdom Purposes in play in our lives, miraculously bring forth His magnificent design for us. God works through relationships that He creates and praise is a circle of delight between our attitudes, words and deeds in our relationship with Him. Praise enfolds our coming and going, as our lives give God acclaim and as we commend Him for the amazing things, He is doing in us and through us. When God uses us for His Glory, the Awe of this is so loud in our lives, we can’t suppress the joy as it translates into heartfelt praise.

Awe Reflects God’s Glory

To be intentionally kingdom cultured in the art of praise, I need to step up my awe of God, develop a strong awe of God. Why? Awe is one of the strongest foundations of hope there is. Hope is heavens mirror, reflecting the glory of God through our heart to heart relationship with Him, as our praise is awakened in our living out of life with Him. We stand in AWE of our God and praise is our heart melody of reverence. Awe of God is a great start to every day as we find ourselves firmly fixed underneath the Rulership of God’s Love. How can we not stand in awe as we are daily lavished with God’s love, receiving this devotion, experiencing it in our relationship and overflowing in the abundance of it in our giving, our expression of God’s love towards others.

Awe~ Praise ~ Pray It Up

On this day, what can I think, say and do that will bring praise to You, Jesus, glory to Your Kingdom? Holy Spirit, lead me on a path of praise which infuses my attitudes and establishes purity in my motives. I realize when I hope in You Jesus, it attests to the source of my life and the strength giver of my faith. Jesus, I pray You would clean up my heart, and purify my heart of thoughts and motives that are all about me. I hope to be all in with You and Your Kingdom purpose today. I desire for my life to be devoid of selfishness, self-interests and self-centered wants. This day, this moment, I declare it is not about me. I ask You, Jesus to purposefully teach me how I can respond to every life situation with more of You and less of me. Let every thought, every intention, and every purpose of action be for the praise of Your glory.

You heard me tell you before that I am not the Messiah, but certainly I am the messenger sent ahead of him. He is the Bridegroom, and the bride belongs to him. I am the friend of the Bridegroom who stands nearby and listens with great joy to the Bridegroom’s voice. And because of his words my joy is complete and overflows! So it’s necessary for him to increase and for me to be diminished. John 3:28-30 The Passion Translation

Less Of Me, More Awe Of Him

In order to live a life of praise, bringing praise to Jesus, my life can’t be about me. I need to change it up. Jesus needs to be the center of my life. I am not the Messiah; I am one of His messengers. I am not the Savior; I am the servant of the Savior. When my flesh has a bucked-up will, I can’t see past all things me. How can I develop Awe of God in my life when all my interests are centered in myself? That is why I choose for God to be the increase in me, and all things me, be decreased. I hope for more of God’s will and way, less of my will and way. This makes for an incredible, unbridled flow of praise to and for Jesus. When my life becomes all about God, praise flows freely from my life and I become the praise of His Glory.

The increase of Christ is the bride of Christ. We are the increase of Christ as His counterpart. Just as Eve was the increase of Adam, the bride is the increase of Christ on the earth. The Passion Translation FootNote John 3:30

A Sacrifice Of Praise

Religion is a ritual; religiosity is will-to-world impulsive reactions. Relationship is intentional, it is our heart connected with God’s heart, our spontaneous relational responses from our inner spiritual core, in attitudes, words and actions, this is our praise to God. Our relationship with God needs to be the most vital-vertical relationship we have and we need to make our relationship with God personal. A sacrifice of praise springs from the followship-fellowship of the Source of my love, truth, life, grace, peace and hope, that foundation is Jesus. I live a life of praise, because I live wholly-holy in personal relationship with God. I stand in Awe of God, humbly and reverently so, because the King of Heaven lives in me. Jesus is the all of my everything and the everything of my all. Awe-GOD!
