Every day we live and grow as we COME into the Presence of God, learning and growing as we go. He speaks, we listen, we talk it up and He listens and we are navigated by His Spirit, equipped by His Word with the strength we need to patiently endure a chaotic culture with an out-of-control human condition. Every day in relationship with God is an adventure. I journal the things God brings into my life to equip and grow me through. Talk It Up With God
Am I a part of the problem or am I truly seeking God’s will? How can I not be a part of the problem? I have a human condition, I am flesh and I can’t assure anyone that I won’t ever not be a part of the problem, but I can say that every day I work out my salvation with fear and trembling, I am shaped by the Word and Spirit of God and I fight the good fight of faith in followship of Jesus. Is that enough for me to not be a part of the problem? I don’t know. The battle between the flesh and the spirit is not one I can win until I am wholly-holy-his and in that course of action, I am becoming. I have been reading Jeremiah the last few days and it is “trashing my flesh” as I hear the Father God’s heart and see just how far He will go to bring us back to Him

Entangling With God, Changes Your Heart
You are standing on the ledge of hell, blinded by your emotions to the reality of truth of where you are, being deceptively led off the cliff, stepping into the abyss of hell, because it “feels right”????? Really!!??? I prefer truth because of this very thing. I want to clearly see where my life is headed. I do not lean into my emotions, they are unstable, not reliable, constantly changing, and part of my human condition that is easily deceived.

So many evil things done by evil people and they seem to be getting away with it. Things are not what they seem. God has seen everything they have done and His Justice will prevail. We need to trust God in times such as these. He will not be mocked.

Listening Up To God
Listen to God, do what He says. God is attentive, speaking and giving direction. God is not removed from our life; He is there to help us and guide us. We are not on our own. God is here, talking to us, listening, guiding and for us. God is with us, even if no one else is. Life is not easy, but God never leaves or forsakes us. So, the best choice is even if you have to go alone, even if you are ridiculed, stay wholly-holy aligned with God and His Word.
Lord, there is no one like you. You are great; your name is great in power. Who should not fear you, King of the nations? It is what you deserve. For among all the wise people of the nations and among all their kingdoms, there is no one like you. Jeremiah 10:6-7

Dig Deeper In The Bridegroom’s Café: Good News
Jesus ushered in the greatest transformation known to mankind, from death to life and He is able to be our Transformer, He can change up hearts. Our mighty God reigns. Our Savior has not left us to the will of our enemy and will transform our dark night of mourning to a new Sonrise, a brilliant light of the morning.
Everyone has to be on guard against his friend. Don’t trust any brother, for every brother will certainly deceive, and every friend spread slander. Each one betrays his friend; no one tells the truth. They have taught their tongues to speak lies; they wear themselves out doing wrong. You live in a world of deception. In their deception they refuse to know me. This is the Lord ’s declaration. Jeremiah 9:4-6
Holy Spirit Speaking To My Heart
I was thinking after I read Jeremiah yesterday that rejecting God and His ways, is not something that is too good for your health. I am comfortable with the God of Love, not so much with the God of judgement. But now I am starting to see things differently out of the lens of being in the Old Testament these last few months. People think God is a God of love, but they don’t really know all of Him. He does patiently endure for long periods of time, but then there is that time where He decides judgement may be the best timing and way for people to let go of their sin and know HIM, make a choice for Him first. Sometimes it just takes judgement, and God is willing to do that, His will is for our good. His motive is to bring us to Him. I am seeing it much more clearly now. Don’t underestimate God, His judgement will come and it will usher in Justice for all. I used to hate thinking of God that way, but now, I see where a harsh judgment can bring about good for a person with a hard heart.

God’s Word Speaks
My Thoughts: Don’t abandon God, especially for something that is temporary. We don’t belong here. We were created for God He planted eternity in our heart. Our first allegiance should be to the Kingdom of God. Yes, we are here for a purpose, but that purpose is centered in what God put in our hearts, eternity with Him.

We all have it, this human condition that tends to lean into self, more than anything, a not perfect condition of our flesh. God prepared us for this beforehand. I have to continually remind myself of this: God forgave us so much, we need to forgive others 70x 7 just as He said, just as He did. I need to guard my heart, when I feel disappointed in the actions of humanity. It is good to remind myself that Jesus died for sinners, those hurting people that hurt people.

The State Of Humanity~Change It Up
We are a society that has secreted sin, while our outward, social facade plasters selfies and snap chats that deceive and validate our fake reality, trying to prove to all that all is well with our soul. So many people in our day and age are serving no power higher than self. In this kind of reality, there is a fake perception of power and authority, a light kindled by mankind that will flame out and leave us in the dark. We need to search our hearts to make sure we stay wholly-holy aligned with Jesus, His way, truth and life.

Make the better choice to “go to grow”, and grow through your negative emotions by talking to God about them. God loves it when we do that, when we allow Him total access to our lives, because He has a great endgame to our hard situations.
This is what the Lord says: The wise person should not boast in his wisdom; the strong should not boast in his strength; the wealthy should not boast in his wealth. But the one who boasts should boast in this: that he understands and knows me — that I am the Lord, showing faithful love, justice, and righteousness on the earth, for I delight in these things. This is the Lord ’s declaration. Jeremiah 9:23-24
1 Minute Encouragement
On This Day Wouldn’t it be sweet to flip-flop the negative human reaction into a Godly response? That is called self-control. We definitely can’t “do” self-control in our own strength, it takes God’s strength in us. I hope to see us all “grow through” the tough situations we find ourselves in where our emotions are strong and sometimes very rank.
God has so much to say to us, and many, many ways to encourage, exhort and equip us as we spend time with Him. It is so important to set up spiritual disciplines that strengthen our vital-vertical relationship with Him, so we have those special times, alone with Him, entangling ourselves in His Word, worshipping Him, listening up to Him and being equipped for our great God Adventure each day.
