Because you have kept the word of My endurance [My command to persevere], I will keep you [safe] from the hour of trial, that hour which is about to come on the whole [inhabited] world, to test those who live on the earth. Stretched Faith
I began 2021 with the word “stretch” and it has been that kind of year where my faith was stretch beyond what I felt I could endure, yet, the anchor held. I grew so much as our human condition as a human race became more and more deplorable. 2021 was characterized by illegitimate supremacy. An illegitimate power grab with such a sad display of humanity clamoring to get to the highest position of supremacy over each other. The reality of truth is this: Supremacy belongs to God alone! It was pretty cool to watch the Holy Spirit in 2021 and He has thwarted the human nature’s lust for power over each other. Human beings have suffered so much more in 2021 because our human nature was in followship of the desire for illegitimate authority, a disgusting corruptive control over each other. Supremacy is shepherded fittingly only by our God. God is the only Supremacy that can’t be corrupted and is all the time, good for us. Sadly, 2021 has not ended well for the human race because our pursuit was not for eternity with God, but was for the temporary greedy lust of power, position and authority over one another. Heavenly Hindsight
As 2022 approaches, and I look back with heavenly hindsight, I have an increased faith, and I know that as I step into 2022 and learn to “Come”, that I will come to God in 2022 with an increased faith from 2021. I am grateful for this God Adventure of 2021 and looking forward to 2022. Stepping into 2022 with the word “Come” as my God given point of inner spiritual growth, I can see that this year will be a sweet God Adventure. I have a stretched faith, stretched beyond my ability to endure, and my anchor held. God is good!
From 2021 To 2022 = Mixed Emotions
I end 2021 with a mixture of emotions as I anticipate the New Year rolling quickly in. I feel sad for humanity as we have displayed the worst of the human condition this year of 2021 set off by an illegitimate power grab. We started trying to control each other with a supremacy that belongs only to God. This has not ended well for us as our focus has been on the temporary and not the eternal. It made for such a tough year, a year of growing through, a year of leaning into what we did not understand and clinging to You. For this reason [that is, because of God’s final revelation in His Son Jesus and because of Jesus’ superiority to the angels] we must pay much closer attention than ever to the things that we have heard, so that we do not [in any way] drift away from truth.Hebrews 2:1
Drifted Away
We have drifted away from the Image of God, which we were created in and we have definitely drifted away from the reality of His truth and embraced a fake reality as a culture, which is now a corrupted culture. The pursuit of power has sickened our human condition to lust for position, authority and control over one another. Human beings can’t handle this kind of supremacy, it was made for God alone. Human beings have displayed horrific deplorable behavior this year, hurting one another, taking away each other’s God given freedom’s. We were created to love God, know God and love each other well. We were gifted by God with an inalienable right of freedom. We have a free will to make choices for our lives. God’s love is not self-focused and it is out of this rulership of love, a selfless love, we learn what He modeled, how to put each other first, serve each other, being interested in the well-being of all humanity. It is obvious that our power grab for supremacy over one another has failed, the authority of human beings is corrupted beyond belief, in that way we cannot even begin to imagine that we have fallen this far.
We Need To COME To God!
We need God, we need His Rulership of Love, we need Him to be in control of our human condition. We need His boundaries that have kept civilization healthy and whole. Doing our own thing with the deception that everything is relative, has not worked for us. I anticipate 2022 with joy because I know there is not anyone who can’t see the failure of human beings to rule over one another, as our need to be positioned underneath God’s Rulership of Love is apparent! So many times this past year, God has paraded our bad choices in our face and we have literally felt the negative consequences of these bad choices. God has brought darkness into the light, exposing and expunging it. I heard this so many times: “I can’t believe this is happening! It surely can’t get any worse than this!” Could it get any worse? Yes, it can! The human condition is spiraling downward and it will continue to shock us with its depravity. When one sins, we all suffer, the consequences of sin are far reaching. No doubt about it, this God reveal that we need Him in our lives, is apparent, so much so, as we sit in this present darkness in our corrupted cultures. Come To God!
We Need God’s Navigation
We need God, we need to COME to God and let go and let God lead us, navigating us in 2022 to be all we were created to be. Coming to God in 2022 we will learn to give more than we take, to encourage more than we discourage, and He will teach us how to add value to the human race and not devalue it. Let’s do this in 2022, let go of and reject illegitimate authority, and COME to God, submitting ourselves wholly-holy to Him, and help each other thrive underneath the Supremacy of God, within the boundaries God set up. We were given a free will by God and equipped with the truth to be able to use it well. We have the liberty of our God given inalienable rights to make our own choices over our body, soul and spirit and we should preserve this in the all of our everything, stand for it. COME In Faith
YES, stepping out of 2021, I feel sad for the downward spiral of our human condition, but as I step into 2022, I have joy. Stepping into 2022 with the word “Come” as my God given point of growth, I can see that this year will be a sweet God Adventure. My focus is tight on Jesus, my walk is narrow in followship of Jesus and, my tested faith has held and is strong in confidence in Jesus. I COME to God this year with a faith that anticipates the God purpose in my challenges ahead, knowing that the God purpose will be greater than the challenge. I will COME to God in 2022 in the all of my everything, and I will come to Him with an increased, active faith. So if you are at a crossroad of your faith, come to Jesus. Better Together
The tugging of the world will not quit, in 2022, the storms of life will roll in, but we know, our anchor, secured by a three-strand cord, (Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God) it will hold. We together need Christ in us, and no weapon formed against us will prosper as He navigates our lives in His purposeful goodness. We should do everything we can to stand in Christ and fight the good fight of faith. God is the all of our everything, in our individual vital-vertical relationship, He overflows His anointing through us to each other, then together, we step out into our world in faith, splashing His light all over our pathways as we live, laugh and love! This is our great God Adventure together. Our hearts are tied together with an unbreakable three strand cord. The Father, Son, And Holy Spirit. Yes, together with God, we are much better than we could ever be and we point the way to Jesus to our world. One shield of faith is strong, but multiple shields linked together is much better.
