Remember

Perfect Peace

Isaiah 26:3-8 You will keep the peace, a perfect peace, for all who trust in You, for those who dedicate their hearts and minds to You. So trust in the Eternal One forever, for He is like a great Rock—strong, stable, trustworthy, and lasting. He humbles the high and mighty. Even the indomitable city falls before His strength, reducing it to dust. The feet of the poor, the weak, the infirm and forgotten will trample the dust of the formerly great. The path of those who do right is straight and smooth. O God, You who are upright, You make the way of the righteous level. When we act in justice and righteousness—following Your laws—we wait for You. We are eager to hear Your holy name and remember Your ways. The Voice

Jesus, in times such as these, where there is no clarity, where everything we know has changed and we no longer have our faithful comfort zone, we clearly see how our life distractions have kept us from being deeply rooted in You and Your Word. We feel vulnerable, we feel exposed to the elements, we feel out of control, we feel confused, we feel like we can’t take this for another day. We feel… We feel… We feel… this is where we are, this is not where we need to remain. Time to break out the Word of God and strengthen our inner spiritual core with what will last forever, with an “Infinite” security, with a hope in the dark, with the living and powerful Word of God, with God’s unending clarity, with His lasting peace. Remember… We Remember… We Recall… We Renew-Revive Our Soul. Word Strong!

GOD KNOWS

Ruth 2:8-10 So Boaz said to Ruth, “My daughter, listen to me. Don’t go and glean in another field and don’t go away from here. Stay here with the women who work for me. 9 Watch the field where the men are harvesting, and follow along after the women. I have told the men not to lay a hand on you. And whenever you are thirsty, go and get a drink from the water jars the men have filled.” 10 At this, she bowed down with her face to the ground. She asked him, “Why have I found such favor in your eyes that you notice me—a foreigner?”

Jesus, we ask You to strengthen our inner spiritual core, replacing the lens of our spiritual eyes, removing the old lens of our worldly viewpoint. Holy Spirit, give us the lens of a Kingdom Perspective to see out of, to frame our faith, trust and belief. Lord God, You still speak. You are speaking, navigating, loving, encouraging, equipping and empowering us by Your Word in us and through us. Holy Spirit, You have our wholly-holy attention, we ask You for clarity in a time such as this. In our relationship, with You, our distractions in a time such as this, are at an all time low. You have smashed every idol. We hope for You to point out our spiritual blind spots and take advantage of this isolation to change us up. We hope to clearly hear Your Voice, to see what You see, to love like You love, to hear your thoughts first, to have the heart compassion You have, and to be wholly-holy Yours. Make it so in a time such as this. We pray for an undivided heart. Word of God speak in us, speak what is true, in us and through us. We look to You, Our Navigator, we desire to be be taught, teach us by Your Word and navigate us in these uncharted waters. Amen.
