There is so much “heat” in our cultural chaos from nation to nation. We have a real need for soul refreshment, like a hot summer day when the rain showers come and refresh the dry grass with nourishment all the way down to the roots. Oh, so refreshing. We hope for this, for God to refresh and revive our souls during this difficult season of cultural clashes. God is amazing at refreshing, encouraging and renewing our soul so we can enjoy the ride of our lives.
Got Stress And Strife From Cultural Chaos?
Feeling the stress of strife and chaos? Open your heart wide to God. This is a good choice for us during this super-hot season of cultural clashes, where contention and incivility of the human condition are so totally out of control as human beings press towards illegitimate supremacy and know no power higher than self. Stuck in the heat wave of human dysfunction? What now? Well, the best choice is to dig your life roots deeply in God, and be refreshed by His peace, joy, strength, hope and love. Summer rain showers on a hot day are so reviving to all, so we hope for this in this renewal of our soul in this oh, so very hot season for our clashing cultures. From nation to nations, we hope in God to refresh us with His living water, reviving our soul with His refreshment. God, we look to You, revive us once again. When it is a crazy ride in this life, we can actually enjoy the ride as we wholly-holy trust God.
Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything, every moment and in every way. God’s Amazing Word
I have really found that as I take the time in the Word of God and in the amazing world, He created, and to be aware of all things Him and how incredible He is and how wonderful His creation is, that my AWE of Him quickly and strongly develops. With this Awe of God comes a really cool reverence, a respect just springs forth, bubbling out of my heart for Him. Awe of God, I have found, truly does settle your soul during these times where we are living in, where the chaotic cultural clashes are a current of hate that is countercultural to the reality of truth of the Kingdom of God. God’s Kingdom perspective trumps our worldly viewpoint with hope and helps us develop Awe of God as we enjoy the ride in this hectic fast paced culture.
“The Lord is my portion; I have promised to keep your words. I have sought your favor with all my heart; be gracious to me according to your promise. I thought about my ways and turned my steps back to your decrees. I hurried, not hesitating to keep your commands. Awe Meter On High
When the meter of my soul reads HIGH in AWE of God, my confidence in Him is also at an all time high and I find that Awe does increase my faith. Listen up to this song about our Awe God and let your Awe increase as you realize the reality of truth that Jesus, our faithful and true God, He holds us in His mighty right hand, therefore we can know without a doubt that everything in our lives will be alright and with God. Christ in us, the hope of glory, we can enjoy the ride.
