🙏Wholly-Holy Renew Our Families Lord Jesus
Hosanna, Hosanna in the Highest! We praise You and thank you for our Family. We see and pray for a generation of families to rise up and to take their place with selfless faith. We pray to see a near revival stirring in our families as we get heart to heart with Jesus and seek God’s way, truth and life. Jesus, our families are on our knees, Jesus King of Kings, Lord of Lords, bowing to You, yielding to Your Sovereignty. Heal our families in times such as these and, make us clean, wholly-holy renew us and open our eyes to the things unseen. Change the focus of each family member off of self, make us selfless like You. Jesus, show us how to love like You have loved us, with unconditional compassion, mercy and kindness. Break the hearts of our family from member to member, break our hearts for what breaks Yours. Let everything we do be done unto You, everything we are. Let it shine a selflessness for Your Kingdom. Jesus, selflessness, let it be so in our family life.
🙏 Pray For Sweet Family Life
Let’s pray for our family now, that everything we do, we do unto Jesus, empowered by His Holy Spirit, and out of His love. The sweetest family life is found in the home where selflessness is in play, and every attitude, thought and action is done for and unto Jesus Christ. Pray this would be so in each family life around this globe.
Let the word [spoken by] Christ (the Messiah) have its home [in your hearts and minds] and dwell in you in [all its] richness, as you teach and admonish and train one another in all insight and intelligence and wisdom [in spiritual things, and as you sing] psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, making melody to God with [His] grace in your hearts. 17 And whatever you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus and in [dependence upon] His Person, giving praise to God the Father through Him. Colossians 3
🙏Pray For The Exchange Of Selfish To Selfless
Lord God, change it up in our family we pray from selfishness to selflessness. We pray that our family would be activated in faith and let the humility and selflessness of Jesus Christ be the characteristic of our family life. Change our focus off of self, and help us to see You clearly, Jesus, that we might reflect Your compassion, kindness and mercy in our home life. Let everything our family is, be all about You and all in for Your Kingdom Lord Jesus Christ. Bring this powerful Word of life altering God instructions into the heart and action of each person in our family:
Do nothing from factional motives [through contentiousness, strife, selfishness, or for unworthy ends] or prompted by conceit and empty arrogance. Instead, in the true spirit of humility (lowliness of mind) let each regard the others as better than and superior to himself [thinking more highly of one another than you do of yourselves]. Let each of you esteem and look upon and be concerned for not [merely] his own interests, but also each for the interests of others. Philippians 2:3-4
🙏 Pray To Reflect Jesus In Your Family Life
Adopt the same attitude as that of Christ Jesus, who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God as something to be exploited. Instead he emptied himself by assuming the form of a servant, taking on the likeness of humanity. And when he had come as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death —even to death on a cross. Philippians 2:5-8
We hope to reflect You, Jesus, in our family life, to reflect Your selflessness, to mirror Your humility, to look like Your Kindness. Lord Jesus create in the heart of our family, hearts like Yours. Your heart can be described as completely selfless. You put others first, even the endgame of giving Your life for others was total selflessness. You came here to us, leaving a heavenly splendor, taking on our flesh, and living so humbly among us. May our family never forget that You came to us, died our death so we could live Your forever life. May we never forget Your selflessness. May we reflect Who You are in our family life, from family member to family member, make us like You:
🙏 Pray For Humility And A Servant’s Heart
Jesus cause us, each one of our family members to have that spirit of humility that You showed us, how powerful it was, it ushered in the greatest transformation ever known to mankind, death to life. Bring to life humility and selflessness in our family Lord Jesus, You are a servant, make us one too. Teach us the joy of being emptied out for each other. May we be humbly willing to serve each other in our family lives, to empty ourselves out as we give kindness, encouragement, unconditional love, grace, mercy, help, and care to those in our family. May we be a Selfless, Living Sacrifice in our family lives, as You were to us Lord Jesus. Change us Lord God. Make us like You, A Living Sacrifice!
Oh, the depth of the riches and the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments and untraceable his ways! 34 For who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor? 35 And who has ever given to God, that he should be repaid? 36For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever. Amen. Romans 11:33-36
Therefore, brothers and sisters, in view of the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a LIVING SACRIFICE, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true worship.
