Daily Song Inspiration
I like listening to Christian music, it feeds my soul. I like posting a song daily if I can, kind of like a daily song inspiration from God. Today’s Worship Spotlight is just that. I was feeling the chaos of our world so strongly and I went to bed with a lot of our current cultural chaos on my mind. I woke up this morning with this song on my heart: Hold Me Jesus By Rich Mullins. Listen Up:
Change Is Upon Us
Everything is changing so fast; we can’t even keep up. Things that have been deeply rooted all through our lives are now being uprooted. Common Sense is dead, freedom is eroding, and compassion is replaced by a pursuit of position, labels, brands, titles that hold no power higher than self. There is no consistency, we are in a state of flux, where bad is good and good is bad and civility doesn’t have a peaceful aroma, it has been replaced with the stank of Poo-Poo-Politics. Jesus, we pray for Your intervention, for Your Peace for all of us. We ask you to hold us in Your Mighty Right Hand and we stand in Awe of You, and how Awesome You are in us and through us!
In the midst of the awesomeness, a touch comes, and you know it is the right hand of Jesus Christ. You know it is not the hand of restraint, correction, nor chastisement, but the right hand of the Everlasting Father. We Have Been Found Wanting…
Truly, a lack of peace corresponds right to the lack of truth in our lives. The absence of truth in us will leave us feeling stranded in a culture of deception, false narrative, fake reality which absolutely kills, steals and destroys our peace. Who is the author of lies, whose evil has saturated our world with deception in times such as these? Who has flipped flopped good to be evil and evil to be good? Whose mission is it to kill, steal, destroy? Who is the author of this cultural chaos in times such as these? Clue:
We are not fighting against humans. We are fighting against forces and authorities and against rulers of darkness and powers in the spiritual world. Ephesians 6:12
The Disruption Of Chaos
Shalom! Jesus is our Prince of Peace Who absolutely disrupts the chaos our enemy has flooded our world with. When the enemy comes in like a flood, Jesus holds up a standard of righteousness against him. Jesus is famous for going before us, and being our rear guard as He exposes, expunges the evil of deception and leaves our life path strewn with His Truth. Embracing Jesus, accepting Him in our hearts, is the best choice of this day. He came here to us, never get over that. He died so we might live, never get over that.
