I Want To Know You More
Sometimes I get stuck and I can’t see my next step clearly. Confusion floods in and the more I try to figure it out, the more anxious I become. Fasting has always been so good for my soul. How about you? Do you ever fast? When I do, my body weakens so much that I long in my soul more for God and I hear Him so much more clearly. How about you?
Fasting = Clear God Wisdom For Me
I so do want to know God more, but when I fast, this clearly stands out to me, my soul is awakened to God in a way that every normal day does not find. I hunger for God and I see His wisdom so much more clearly. I always hear Him, but when I fast I hear Him in ways that are so much more clear as the clutter of the world seems to be less dense and I hear godly wisdom that I need to change things up in my life.
“But where can wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding? Man does not know the value of it; Nor is it found in the land of the living. God understands the way [to wisdom] And He knows its place [for wisdom is with God alone]But to man He said, ‘Behold, the reverential and worshipful fear of the Lord—that is wisdom; And to depart from evil is understanding. Job 28:12-13,23,28
