Still Here

The Day After Christmas

It is the day after Christmas. The day after… usually you get the doldrums because you have anticipated and waited for something and then it comes and goes. For me, Christmas is not like that. The day after is the same kind of joy and I still have hope and anticipation in what God is going to do today. He’s still here and He is still very insightful, sharing all kinds of new revelations on this day. The Christmas story to me is a story of my heart’s life belief, it is what I believe every single day. I see a Father God Who has pursued humanity throughout history. Read the Old Testament and you can’t help but see Him tell us about the best way to live, underneath the rulership of His Love. He fought for our loyalty continuously as He dealt with evil and famously drew us to Him, time and again preparing the way for the Redemption of His people. He loves us so much.

God Is STILL Here

The Redeeming Love of God is all throughout the Old Testament and so is the foretelling of the Messiah, Jesus. How can I not believe when I know that He sent His only Son here, incarnate, God and human, so that Jesus, His Son could understand and know everything we feel and that He did. He came to us fully intending to divinely interact with us, saving us from ourselves, our human condition, and giving us a future and a hope. The Joy of the Christmas Story is immensely fulfilling for our soul. Jesus Came Here. Jesus Delivered Us. Jesus ushered in a transformation that no one could ever rival, death to forever life, as there has never been a change to our humanity as great as this one. Infinite Intersected With Finite And It Changed This Forever. The Heart Of The Gospel Is Change and the day after Christmas, God is still changing me, growing me through this life. That is why I love the day after Christmas as much as Christmas day because I love the Author of my life story and His insight is prevalent still, on this day as it was Christmas day. The JOY still here, the love still remains. Christmas!

Simply-Significantly STILL Needed

Jesus Christ, spoke the world into being and then did what was simply-significantly needed… He came here into our mess to write the message of God’s Kingdom on our hearts, the message made from a human mess, the message of a Savior of all humanity. He is still with us. He came here to us to die our death, so we could live His forever life, empowered here by Him with great insight, He still leads us until we go home with Him. We are never alone, never without support, never without purpose.  God came in a way no one would ever have suspected Who He was, in the flesh, living among us. Just like us, Jesus experienced life from a tiny infant to an adult, and He experienced more than any of us ever will the sufferings of persecution for speaking the truth in love, for loving the unlovable, for walking counter culturally, and sharing truth that was insightful, revelatory, novel. and impactive. He still does. God’s insight is still with us and still very precious, a treasure we love to receive, heart to heart. I believe in Jesus, I believe He is impacting my life, I believe He is still here. I believe I have a good future and hope in Him. Listen up to this 1 Minute Encouragement Video: I Believe. “In sovereignty and with power, God would respond to the sorry condition of his world. With holy authority, he would deal with the image bearers who had turned their backs on him. Yet he would deal with the ravages of sin not with the tools of judgment, but with a single tool of grace, Jesus. Without his life, death, and resurrection, grace would be a sentiment devoid of any helpfulness. Without the gift of Jesus, grace would be a promise with no power. Without the presence, life, and work of that baby in the manger, there is no light at the end of the tunnel for sinners. There is no happy ending for rebels. There is no home waiting for the lost. There is only darkness, defeat, judgment, and death. This season, in the midst of all the celebrations and gift giving, be careful to remember that at the center of what we celebrate is one game-changing, life-altering, hope-giving reality: grace is a person, and his name is Jesus.  Written By: Paul David Tripp

Disrupt The Hustle Bustle

In the middle of our hustle-bustle our Christmas Savior, Jesus says: SHALOM and He miraculously-merrily-so disrupts the dark chaos of our world and speaks truth, love, peace and hope. Just because it is the day after Christmas, does not mean we stop being tempted to have a hustle-bustle life. We have to stay connected heart to heart with this incredible Savior, Jesus Christ, Who is for us and in these times where deceptive evil is in full play in our world, we take hope in the Christmas Child, knowing that He wins, the victory is His. Christmas changed everything, so there is no need to despair, we are not alone here, God is with us and His endgame is great, so we watch in prayer, we wait in trust, and we anticipate with hope, knowing our Christmas Savior is working all things for our good and His glory, from day to day, still with us, still for us and still our greatest insight.Joy To The World!

But when the time arrived that was set by God the Father, God sent his Son, born among us of a woman, born under the conditions of the law so that he might redeem those of us who have been kidnapped by the law. Thus we have been set free to experience our rightful heritage. You can tell for sure that you are now fully adopted as his own children because God sent the Spirit of his Son into our lives crying out, “Papa! Father!” Doesn’t that privilege of intimate conversation with God make it plain that you are not a slave, but a child? And if you are a child, you’re also an heir, with complete access to the inheritance. Galatians 4:4-7

Ceaseless Wonder

The Wonder of Christmas, everyone should know, believe and receive it! The world calls it “The Holiday Season” and it is about six weeks of hustle and bustle that can quickly overwhelm your schedule, and your natural rhythm of graceful living, can easily be disrupted by the chaos of the culture. Has our personal time with Jesus been affected by the constant streaming of cultural hustle-bustle this Christmas Season? Yes, and it can continue as long as we flip-flop our priorities and put this world first over the kingdom of God. Are we so busy that we are drifting away from the Wonder of this Christmas Child, to the exhaustion of too many cultural experiences on our plate? This human condition still remains with us, we need to tame it, making it personal with God and put Him first, so He becomes our daily ceaseless wonder. Wonder is not just for one day a year, or one holiday season, it continues the day after Christmas. Change It Up To Ceaseless Wonder And Awe!

Belief ~ Pray For It

The Wonder of the Christmas Child, believing in Him, helps us hope in the dark. We believe in Jesus, we believe Jesus!  So many people in our nations have drifted away from Jesus, His way, truth and life. We pray to Jesus that they will come home to Him, the Christmas Child to seek Him, to find Him to know His joy, peace, love and hope. Come, Come to Jesus, leaving the past behind, starting a new day. Yes, it may still be an evil dark world, but we can hope in the dark because hope lives in our hearts.  It may not look “good” right now, but by faith we know, our God is still with us, He has not abdicated His authority to evil, He is in control of all of our happenings, He is still navigating us with incredible God Insights. There is no weapon formed against us that will prosper, none. Look up, light up your life with God’s Truth, be navigated in the dark by the hope the Holy Spirit will speak into Your heart. This is the way, walk in it… God is with us, thus and therefore, activate your faith and still believe on this day. I believe in Jesus, my Christmas Savior, it is well with my soul. How about you? Now those people live in darkness. But they will see a great light. They live in a place that is very dark. But a light will shine on them. God, you will cause the nation to grow. You will make the people happy. And they will show their happiness to you. It will be like the joy during harvest time. It will be like the joy of people taking what they have won in war. A child will be born to us. God will give a son to us. He will be responsible for leading the people. His name will be Wonderful Counselor, Powerful God, Father Who Lives Forever, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:2-3,6 ICB

The Gift That Still Gives

The gift of Jesus was a HUGE gesture of love from our Father God. We have been “gifted” so many amazing things from our Christmas Savior, Jesus  such as grace: God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense. What gift do you want to give Jesus this year? I would like to give Jesus the gift of an undivided heart. Psalm 86:11-12 This 1 Minute Encouragement Video will inspire you to gift your life to Jesus every single day as we receive from Him, Who is still giving to us abundantly, we choose to give to others. We gift truth, hope, encouragement to everyone in our life path, because we have been gifted it by God in abundance to overflowing

After Christmas

TOn these days after Christmas, Jesus Christ is STILL our Christmas Savior, Who came to us destined with God purpose, to usher in the greatest transformation ever to be known to mankind, and despite all the persecution Jesus patiently endured and persevered and STILL finished well and that is why we STILL have the opportunity to know God and receive the eternal life He came here to purchase for us… AND it is STILL free. Awe-God!  Our sin debt paid in full by Jesus, STILL the sweetest Christmas gift ever, it is STILL giving, His mercy is new every morning, great is His faithfulness. The gift of Christmas, it is like a bell that keeps ringing out JOY to the world, miraculously-merrily-so!

Lord, remember my suffering and how I have no home. Remember the misery and suffering. I remember them well. And I am very sad. But I have hope when I think of this: The Lord’s love never ends. His mercies never stop. They are new every morning. Lord, your loyalty is great. I say to myself, “The Lord is what I have left. So I have hope.” The Lord is good to those who put their hope in him. He is good to those who look to him for help. It is good to wait quietly for the Lord to save. Lamentations 3:19-26

A New Day

Never forget what our human condition is capable of, because we persecuted Jesus and killed Him. BUT as usual, we underestimated God.  GOD had a plan for us foolish human beings who think we are in control when we are not, because Jesus rose from the dead bringing forth the greatest transformation ever known to mankind… finite death to eternal life. We “thought” we knew better, we never do, God does and He always has a great redemptive plan. God is still mightily insightful, so no matter how dark this winter season gets, just know, God has a plan. God Wins! It began with a beautiful star, a Christmas child born in Bethlehem, and it ended with this child, Jesus sitting at the right hand of God with our future in His Hands. Don’t underestimate God. It may be a dark time now, but He is at work in the unseen with His plan that we won’t be able to wrap our mind around, it will be spectacular, wonderful and more than we could ever begin to hope for or imagine. Trust God in the dark, hope in the dark, the Light will come.  I Believe!
