Trust the Lord with all your heart. Don’t depend on your own understanding. Remember the Lord in everything you do. And he will give you success. Don’t depend on your own wisdom. Respect the Lord and refuse to do wrong. Then your body will be healthy. And your bones will be strong. Don’t ever stop being kind and truthful. Let kindness and truth show in all you do. Write them down in your mind as if on a tablet. Then you will be respected and pleasing to both God and men. Proverbs 3:3-8
God Can Do Anything
Yes, God can. There are times we feel that we are “underneath it all” but we are not. God is more than able to finish what He started in us. No Doubt About It! If life has given you a hard time and you feel stuck in a difficult situation, don’t fret, just ask God for help. It seems like a simple answer, “ask God” but it is a powerful solution. God can do anything and He can do it better and give us a result that is more than we could have imagined or hoped for. God is our more than enough.
At A Crossroad
God sees us, God knows us. God is all-knowing. We believe in God, but do we believe He is all knowing? If we do, then why not ask God when we come to a crossroad and we can’t see ahead. Why don’t we ask God for the solution we are seeking? What do you want to step out on? Do you want to step out on a presumption or on truth? Why should you guess at something when you can know the truth? God knows everything, He knows every hair on our head. So when we find ourselves tossed about by false narratives and fake reality, He is the best source of truth, He is our more than enough. Listen Up To This 1 Minute Encouragement Video
Assume: Ass Out Of You And Me
If we light our own fire and walk by the light of a man-made fire, it will flame out. Assumption is following after a worldly viewpoint that distorts our reality, because it is not truth. Assumptions lean us into self-dependence, where the full weight of the solution is all on us.
Who among you fears the Lord and obeys his servant? That person may walk in the dark and have no light. Then let him trust in the Lord. Let him depend on his God. But instead, some of you want to light your own fires. You want to make your own light. So, go, walk in the light of your fires. Trust your own light to guide you. But this is what you will receive from me: You will lie down in a place of pain. Isaiah 50:10-11
Depend On God
Self-dependence is hard to maneuver in stressful times, because the broad road does not have that comfortable boundary that the narrow road of God’s truth does. The same thing happens when we are lazy and we take an opinion over truth, we don’t seek out truth, we settle with a “maybe this is true”.
Say NO To Isolation
We can ask God to Navigate us by His wisdom and He will. Self-dependence is not a good thing because when we fail, we are truly alone, and most of the time this leads to isolation. This is exactly what the enemy wants, us to be isolated, outside of God’s Presence so he can stir up the chaos in our soul to kill, steal and destroy all of our peace.
Seek God For Wisdom
We are never stuck in chaos, like our enemy would like us to think. Just the mention of the name of Jesus, and the Shalom of God destroys our enemy’s chaos! What do you do when you need wisdom? You don’t need an assumption; you need the reality of truth. Does your wisdom seeking start with God? The best wisdom that we step out with, it begins with God and it ends well. Need something?
