Powerless Words
Words, Words, Words! We speak thousands of words every single day. Some good and some bad. Some of us make our daily word quota and abundantly keep going and others think more words than they speak out. People try to change people, influence others by their words. They can’t. They may get a temporary focus, but the human heart is restless, impulsive and wicked beyond our ability to measure, and we can’t change each other by our powerless words. Only God’s Word can change the heart of a human being.
Meaningless Words
Without the influence of the Holy Spirit, our words are meaningless, they can’t evoke change. Words add value or they devalue, but they do not permanently change anything for all time. Only God’s Words can permanently transform us in that miraculous way of His that many times we can’t even wrap our mind around. God’s Words hold the power of eternal change, a permanency that mankind, who knows no power higher than self, can’t even begin to understand. We know nothing ~ God knows all.

Transforming Power
There are words that possess transforming power, these words are found in our Bible. The words of our God, they not only add value to our daily living, they can change it up in us in that way only God purposefully can. The heart of the Gospel is change. When the heart of a person changes from dark to light, the transformation is real, powerful and a very obvious change. This is the transforming power of God’s Living Word.
Hebrews 4:12 For we have the living Word of God, which is full of energy, and it pierces more sharply than a two-edged sword. It will even penetrate to the very core of our being where soul and spirit, bone and marrow meet! It interprets and reveals the true thoughts and secret motives of our hearts. The Passion Translation
What Is Real Change?
We listen up to so many words, all day long we choose what we hear. Why would we not choose our Bible, listening up to God’s Word first, when we know what power it has to change us for the better. When we desire to be best in all things, the place to start is with the Word of God. The best version of us, our human condition, is shaped by The Bridegroom’s Voice, Jesus, our equipper. When we position ourselves in God’s Living Word, heart to heart with Him, this is when we begin to know real change, effective and life changing.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 Every Scripture has been written by the Holy Spirit, the breath of God. It will empower you by its instruction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you deeper into the path of godliness. Then you will be God’s servant, fully mature and perfectly prepared to fulfill any assignment God gives you. The Passion Translation
Make It Personal
The purposes of God are in play all day, on this day. The Living Word of God is Present with us today and He is speaking what is true to us in that famous way of His Holy Spirit, creative, powerful, unique and life changing. We can’t direct purpose by our words, only God can do that. We can’t infuse the greatness of purpose into our challenges, God does this. There is no challenge to great for the purposes of God in play to conqueror through the powerful living Word of His Promise. This is why our best choice on this day is to make it personal with God and His Word.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and he is the one whom Timothy, Silas, and I have preached to you—and he has never been both a “yes” and a “no.” He has always been and always will be for us a resounding “YES!” For all of God’s promises find their “yes” of fulfillment in Him. And as his “yes” and our “amen” ascend to God, we bring him glory! Now, it is God himself who has anointed us. And he is constantly strengthening both you and us in union with Christ. He knows we are his since he has also stamped his seal of love over our hearts and has given us the Holy Spirit like an engagement ring is given to a bride—a down payment of the blessings. 2 Corinthians 1:19-22 TPT
