Family Concern Plays Out To: Family Prayer
In times such as these Jesus, we do have concerns for our family and we take them to You, Jesus, The Only One Who wears the Victor’s Throne, our Overcomer and our very Present Comfort. Thank You Jesus, we pray for every high thing to come down, every stronghold that affects our family in these dark and lawless times, to be broken by the power of Your Name. Jesus, we pray Your Word, and we know we are praying to the One Who death could not hold down. AweGod! We know no weapon formed against us will prosper because You, Jesus wear the Victor’s Crown! We hope to keep the King of Kings and Lord of Lords first in our family life.
🙏 Family Prayer ~ 2 Timothy 3:10-17
Today we will be praying 2 Timothy 3:10-17 for our family. How powerful it is to pray the Word of God for our family, to call their names out to God. May God hear our prayer and change it up in our hearts, transform us according to His Word, deliver us from evil, keep us from temptation, and may His Kingdom come to the heart of our family life.
But you, Timothy, have closely followed my example and the truth that I’ve imparted to you. You have modeled your life after the love and endurance I’ve demonstrated in my ministry by not giving up.2 Timothy 3:10-17
🙏 Family Life In A Topsy-Turvy World
Jesus, this world is topsy-turvy with right being wrong, and wrong being right, as illegitimate, ungodly authority is leading selfishly, in a hellish way. Family life without You, Jesus, is strife filled, as in every area of our all our nations, family life is adversely affected by ungodly leadership. We are touched negatively in our families: financial, civility, religion, weather, health, provision, purpose, safety politics, freedom, are all whacked out by the consequences of a sinful leadership, and a sinful people following after deceit. We ask for the covering of Your life and truth, over our families, draw us to Your truth that we might model our lives, in a counter-cultural way, not after this world, but after the truths of Your Kingdom. Speak what is true into the lives of each one of our family members hearts, minds, souls, and spirits. Take every bit of false counsel that they have bought into and turn the light of truth on it, so it translates from darkness to light and the trickery of the enemies foolishness is clearly seen, and biblical truths are exchanged as lies are laid down. Jesus, make it so in our family members who are deceived by the enemy’s lies and bad counsel.
“Then someone reported to David, “Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom.” “Lord,” David pleaded, “please turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness!” 2 Samuel 15:31 CSB
The faith I have, you now have . What I have hungered for in life has now become your longing as well. The patience I have with others, you now demonstrate. And the same persecutions and difficulties I have endured, you have also endured . Yes, you know all about what I had to suffer while in Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. You’re aware of all the persecution I endured there; yet the Lord delivered me from every single one of them! 2 Tim. 3:10-17
And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ’s] one body you were also called [to live]. Colossians 3:15
🙏 Jesus Be First In Our Family Life
Jesus, help us to be a family who patiently endures the trials and sufferings of this life with a wholly-holy trust in You, putting you first. Let us be “Your Firstee”! Let everything about You, Jesus be first in our lives. May You be our first thought, our first desire, our first counsel, our first hope, our first hope, our first priority, our first love, our first loyalty, our first choice, and our first and only truth. As we wholly-holy love You first, may we experience the power of Your deliverance from every problem and trial we find ourselves facing, we pray You will be our solution, our comfort and will be navigated and led by Your peace and follow You, First.
“The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry for help. The face of the Lord is set against those who do what is evil, to remove all memory of them from the earth. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is near the brokenhearted; he saves those crushed in spirit. One who is righteous has many adversities, but the Lord rescues him from them all.” Psalms 34:15-19 CSB
For all who choose to live godly as worshipers of Jesus, the Anointed One, will also experience persecution. But the evil men and sorcerers will progress from bad to worse, deceived and deceiving, as they lead people further from the truth. Yet you must continue to advance in strength with the truth wrapped around your heart, being assured by God that he’s the One who has truly taught you all these things. Remember what you were taught from your childhood from the Holy Scrolls which can impart to you wisdom to experience everlasting life through the faith of Jesus, the Anointed One! 2 Timothy 3:10-17
🙏 Lord Wrap Truth Around Our Hearts
Jesus wrap the truth around the heart of each one of our family members. We call our their names to You, our only Truth, the Light in our darkness, Jesus! Father God assure each one of our family members of Your character, strength and power. Lord God, may the truth and power of Your Word permeate the heart of our family, soul saturating us with wisdom, and the assurance of everlasting life with You as we choose Your Son, Jesus, our righteousness, from every moment to every choice of our lives. Deliver us from evil, keep us from leaning into the temptation of our enemy, lean us into Your Sovereign sway and help us to stay in followship of You, even if your methods are not our plan, help us to trust You and let be and let the wind of Your Holy Spirit blow through our family life and create in us the heart of a Firstee, people putting You first in the all of our everything. 🙏 A Family Praying And Growing Through
Yes! Yes and amen Family! When we are “growing through” hellish things, God has not forsaken or forgotten us, He will purposefully and in a very timely way, magnificently rescue us out of the ruin the enemy of our soul intended for us! We are not alone, God is with us and for us … AND YES He will do it… Deliver us from evil…He is our very Present help, our very present and powerful Deliverer!
God is our refuge and strength, a helper who is always found in times of trouble. Therefore we will not be afraid, though the earth trembles and the mountains topple into the depths of the seas, though its water roars and foams and the mountains quake with its turmoil. Selah God is within her; she will not be toppled. God will help her when the morning dawns. There is a river — its streams delight the city of God, the holy dwelling place of the Most High. Nations rage, kingdoms topple; the earth melts when he lifts his voice. The Lord of Armies is with us; the God of Jacob is our stronghold. Selah Psalms 46:1-7
God has transmitted his very substance into every Scripture, for it is God-breathed. It will empower you by its instruction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you deeper into the path of godliness. Then you will be God’s servant, fully mature and perfectly prepared to fulfill any assignment God gives you. 2 Timothy 3:10-17 Jesus, cause each family member to be drawn to Your Word, to feast on it as a substance of nourishment for their inner spiritual core, to strengthen their lives, empowering their godly living, their life success, and leading them to outstanding Christian characteristics that lights up the darkness of this world with Your truth. Father God, use Your Word to correct the course of our family when we drift away from Your ways, lead us, equip us in the righteousness of Jesus, so we will be a family fully equipped by Your Powerful Word, and be ready to serve You in the all of our everything. May Your Living Word, be the guide for us staying on mission for Your Kingdom, never distracted or disturbed by this world, but wholly-holy, all in with You, Jesus. Let it be so in our family, touch each one of our family members, Jesus, and transmit Your truth into the hearts, soul, mind and spirit of each one of our family members. Give us the strength that comes from rightly dividing Your Word, the right direction for our lives to be found in Christ Jesus. As we enter into God’s faith-rest life we cease from our own works, just as God celebrates his finished works and rests in them. So then we must be eager to experience this faith-rest life, so that no one falls short by following the same pattern of doubt and unbelief. For we have the living Word of God, which is full of energy, like a two-mouthed sword. It will even penetrate to the very core of our being where soul and spirit, bone and marrow meet! It interprets and reveals the true thoughts and secret motives of our hearts. There is not one person who can hide their thoughts from God, for nothing that we do remains a secret, and nothing created is concealed, but everything is exposed and defenseless before his eyes, to whom we must render an account.
