Acknowledge God First
How do I make this scripture practical in my life? What is a good first step towards getting it from my head to my heart and then to my actions? Acknowledge God First! The way I know by experience that I can make this practically personal is this: My first step out of bed in the morning is down. I bow before God, making a heart to heart connection with Him. This creates a vital-vertical relationship on the foundation of humility, awe and reverence for God. What a strong foundation this heart to heart Awe of God is. Unshakeable. Unbreakable. Make it personal with GOD. This is why Jesus came to us, to tear down the wall that divided us from God. It is finished. We have access to our Father God because of Jesus’ sacrifice for us and we can have a personal relationship.
Change It UP
Change always begins with asking God. Jesus ushered in the greatest transformation ever known to mankind when He rose from the dead and defeated death. Jesus is the MASTER of change. Jesus, we ask You by the power of Your Holy Spirit, to tear down the walls in our hearts. We ask You to create an atmosphere in our soul which is wide open for divine encounter with You. Intervene in our lives powerful Holy Spirit of God and tear down the walls in our hearts, one by one. Jesus, Savior, Redeemer, let there be no compartments in our heart where You are not welcome, where Your truth is not allowed, and where Your opinion is not wanted. Decompartmentalize us Father God, may we give you total access to our lives. Change It Up and let it be so! Create in us undivided hearts, (Psalm 86:11) diligently guarded hearts, (Proverbs 4:23) as we intimately converse with You from every moment to every choice.
Be So ~ Wholly-Holy-His
We must conscientiously lean into God’s Sovereign sway, guarding our hearts in all of our ways with His Powerful Word and relying completely on His truth. Let’s make it our goal to strive for a relationship with God that is intimately personal, where our hearts are fully engaged with His Heart. Let us do life, heart to heart with God with a soul which has an undivided loyalty to Him and His Kingdom.
Set A Godly Soul Atmosphere
Acknowledge God in your soul emotions. Let Him reign in your soul and guide your will with His perfect will. This Godly atmosphere, where God has total access to our life story, to our heart, to our soul, to our mind, to our will and to our spirit, is one where our opinions don’t matter, but His do, they matter first and most. We acknowledge God in all of our ways, His way, truth and life is first in us. This wholly-holy aligned position of surrender to our Awe-GOD, creates straight paths from God’s heart to our heart and plays itself out on our life path. In personal relationship with God, our life paths are straight, there are no crooked places. Make It Personal. Awe-GOD.
