Basically, everyone has an opinion and pretty much 100 percent of the time their opinion is not based on truth, but on assumption, rationalization, speculation or presumption. Why do I say this? Because we live in a disposable, get it quick culture. Who is going to dig for truth, it is much easier to assume and run without facts, quickly. We all are stuck in the cultural say-so of our times where what we “think we know”, is not the reality of truth, yet we speak what we think we know as if it is truth. We need to change this up. The only true source of truth is Jesus. We need to listen up to His Voice and be led by Him into what is true.
Listen Up: Heart To Heart With Jesus
We have fleshly habits that our culture has left us with, one of them is living life very shallowly, we don’t live deeply. We judge by the surface and we react by the presupposition of our seen situation. The Bridegroom’s Voice will “flesh out” all these cultural habits that keep us from living truly, loving deeply and lingering longer in our relationship with God. We have been culturalized to spend just as much time in the Word of God that alleviates our religious duty. God wants to meet with us heart to Heart. No, this is not God’s heart desire for us. God is relational. Spiritual disciplines are good, but spirit to Spirit connection is much better. God gifted us with His Word. He left us the Bible. It is a living Word, it is active in our lives and will change things up as we read it, muse about it and hear God speaking through it. God’s Word will never be irrelevant, it will always have power as the Holy Spirit speaks it into our lives and transforms us. In times such as these, we truly need to listen up and hear the reality of truth. Deception is prevalent in our generation, but God’s truth has a voice, we just have to learn to listen up and be led by it first.
