Do pray for us, that the Word of the Lord may speed on (spread rapidly and run its course) and be glorified (extolled) and triumph, even as [it has done] with you, And that we may be delivered from perverse (improper, unrighteous) and wicked (actively malicious) men, for not everybody has faith and is held by it. Yet the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen [you] and set you on a firm foundation and guard you from the evil [one]. 2 Thessalonians 3:1-3
Consistent Faithfulness
Did you have a good day? Did you have a good week? Were you consistent? Were you faithful? Were you consistently faithful to God? I wish I could say that I was. I wish I was more consistent and faithful to God. I am working on it, but I am not there yet. I struggle with being consistent. How about you? I am so thankful God is trustworthy, faithful and true and loves us unconditionally, it gives us room to grow and become all He has designed us to be and deliver’s us from temptation and evil so we don’t drift away from Him.
And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you. Philippians 1:6
Becoming More Like Jesus
🙏 I know I am not perfect, but I pray I am becoming, becoming more like Jesus every day, from every moment to every choice I make that I reflect Him, His way, truth and life. He is so very trustworthy and that comes from a consistent faithfulness. That is our Jesus! Consistently Faithful – Amazingly Trustworthy. Awe-GOD! I know that God will finish what He started in us. I believe that. There is no doubt about it. We are so blessed in that way, God is faithful to us, unconditionally so. God’s faithfulness is astounding and we take it for granted at times. We take a lot of God’s trustworthy and faithful care for granted. What have we taken for granted? Well, creation for one and the amazing fact that God maintains all of it on a daily basis, and He does so excellently and faithfully. He created and He maintains. He is so amazingly trustworthy. There is no one more faithful to us than God. He is faithful and trustworthy in the all of our everything. God is currently at work, caring, maintaining and finishing what He started in that spectacular way of His.
For it was in Him that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [by His service, intervention] and in and for Him. And He Himself existed before all things, and in Him all things consist (cohere, are held together). [Prov. 8:22-31.]’ Colossians 1:16-17
Less Me ~ More God
I love the beach and I love watching the tides go in, and the tides go out, so faithfully, every day, because I know it is God, faithfully at work maintaining His Creation. I hope for our lives to be more consistent like our trustworthy God. The more we get to know Him, the less of us and the more of Him in us and through us, will help us become better and more trustworthy people, just like Him. As we become more faithful to God, we will develop a trustworthy legacy just like He has. The more consistently faithful we are serving others first, being interested in others, loving God-loving other’s the more trustworthy we will be.
Mark 12:30-31 You are to love the Lord Yahweh, your God, with a passionate heart, from the depths of your soul, with your every thought, and with all your strength. This is the great and supreme commandment. And the second is this: ‘You must love your neighbor in the same way you love yourself.’ You will never find a greater commandment than these.
Our Greatest Treasure
The stretching of our faith by the situations we find ourselves God purposefully in, and daily facing, are God’s way of creating a more consistent faith in us as we grow through with Him. When we love God with all of our heart, we do develop a servant’s heart. God serves us faithfully and consistently, and we should do the same. As we develop our consistent faithfulness, doing everything we do unto God, out of love, we grow a beautiful, amazingly trustworthy with a servant’s heart, which resembles His. I know we can because we are loved by the God of every grace, He is our greatest treasure in this life, trustworthy-faithful-true. Awe-GOD
Mark 12:30-31 Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping—believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, “That’s how many descendants you will have!” And Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead—and so was Sarah’s womb. Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises. And because of Abraham’s faith, God counted him as righteous. Romans 4:18-22
