The wilderness and dry land will be joyously glad! The desert will blossom like a rose and rejoice! 2 Every dry and barren place will burst forth with abundant blossoms, dancing and spinning with delight! Lebanon’s lush splendor covers it, the magnificent beauty of Carmel[Carmel, a mountain range near Israel’s Mediterranean coast, means “fruitful, plentiful, orchard, garden, vineyard, or any fruitful field.] and Sharon.[ Sharon, a coastal plain in Israel, means “an open, sweeping plain, straight, upright, pleasant, prosperous.”] My people[they] will see the awesome glory of Yahweh,the beautiful grandeur of our God. Pray It Up
I pray Lord Jesus, for our souls to blossom as we stay wholly-holy aligned with the compassion of Your heart. Could our days get more deplorable? Could the expression of evil get any worse? Could the human condition get any more corrupt? I find myself thinking on these things in times such as these. I truly need to get my head out of the worldly viewpoint and let my heart be saturated with a Kingdom Perspective of the true joy ahead for us. The less I think on the evil saturating the souls of this world, the more I can think of the goodness of God, permeating the darkness with His light, rescuing and saving those lost in the shadows of deception and coming here to expunge evil and bring us home into His Kingdom. This is JOY. This is the reality of truth I want to bloom and blossom out of, being a fragrance of God, which leads people out of the stank of this world to Jesus, their real future and hope. I pray this is so for all of us on this day, for us to bloom out of the Christ in us, our hope, our joy, our peace, our love, our kindness, our courage, our truth, the Savior, Redeemer and King.

Isaiah 35:2 Or “Blossoming it will blossom.” The Hebrew word (parach) implies breaking forth and blooming. It can also mean to “spread (the wings) and fly.” This is what will happen to God’s people in the last days.
