A Constant Conversation With God
I enjoy a constant conversation with God every day. There are no compartments of my life that He is not in, that He is not speaking, leading, teaching and loving me. This is my personal journal where I keep some of the conversations that I have with God all day long! It is kind of sloppy, but I guess that is okay for this post because it is very personal, genuine and a place where I put some truly heart changing things for me. The spelling and grammar won’t be right and the format will be pretty crazy, but please overlook it for these posts. I will apologize right now. I am sorry it is not perfect. Everything usually ends up in my personal journal, it is messy and fun and I love the heavenly hindsight it provides. I am going to share with you today a few conversation pieces I had with God during the week. I know you will enjoy it and be blessed by it and I pray the Holy Spirit speaks to you through one of my constant conversations with Him.
Arise shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; BUT the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to Your Light and kings to the brightness of your rising. Isaiah 60:2
Transforming God Truth – Changing Me
1 Samuel 12: 20 But Samuel answered the people, “Don’t be afraid. Yes, you’ve done all this evil; just don’t turn back from following the LORD. Serve the LORD with all your heart. 21 Don’t turn aside to follow useless idols that can’t help you or save you. They’re absolutely useless! 22 For the sake of his reputation, the LORD won’t abandon his people, because the LORD has decided to make you his very own people. 23 But me? I would never sin against the LORD by failing to pray for you. I will teach you what is good and right. 24 Just fear the LORD and serve him faithfully with all your heart. Look at what great things he has done for you! 25 But if you continue to do evil, then both you and your king will be destroyed.” Common English Bible

The Bridegroom’s Voice
https://thebridegroomscafe.com/the-bridegrooms-voice/
Sharing our faith, praising God, having an attitude of gratitude about our future and hope in Jesus. We are quiet, way to quiet. We let our culture bound up our voice because it no longer easy, it is no longer comfortable to speak of faith. So we are quiet. Our lives should have a really huge Holy Ground all around us, where people meet Jesus when they get close to us. Our personal space, our Holy Ground has shrunk because our voice has gotten quiet. Do people hear? Do people see the Holy Ground of our lives? Listening to The Bridegroom’s Voice does stir up a passion for Him and His Kingdom like no other. We can’t help but speak out. It is time to #ListenUP To #TheBridegroomsVoice #FleshOut #TruthIn #SpeakUp And Enlarge The Territory Of Our Personal Holy Ground.

#BETheCross Jesus is the vertical and as we make that vital-vertical connection with Him and stay holy aligned with Him, He stands and raises up a standard of righteousness, a beautiful, powerful strong truth. Yes, together we are a picture of the cross of Christ. Jesus is the vertical beam of the cross raising up the standard of righteousness. We are the horizontal beam of the cross, our horizontal arms reaching out to the world around us, with our hands open wide, heart overflowing, with the abundance of the way, truth and life of Jesus that pours into us through our vital-vertical relationship with God as we are embraced by Him in His Arms.

We were just talking about that in our online “Life Group” last night how when things hit our lives that are not particularly what we planned, we get angry, this is the reaction of our human condition. We talked about how God wants to change that up, He wants to change us so we have a response of trust. Sometimes anger is fear based and we talked about how “perfect love casts out fear”. As we grow in a love relationship with Jesus, there is less of that reactive anger and more trust.

The Resurrected power of the cross of #Jesus is incredible. We need to tap into it. It can quiet our soul with a trust and peace like no other can. We can find it in God’s Arms. He saturates the weakness of our soul with His strength. There are times in #militarylife where our mustered up strength fades as we endure through difficult times. Yes, these are trying times in our #militaryfamilies when elections will change our Commander And Chief. The assumptions, presumptions and what if questions really tear up our mind.
Change is coming and we know it. The best place to work this out is in God’s Arms, in our vital-vertical relationship with Him.

“We take in so much divisive cultural say so and we do it without even realizing it. The social media is blaring all around us, all day long. It is so important to #ListenUP to #TheBridegroomsVoice. Simply-Significantly, His Voice of truth fleshes out our soul and it will truth in our spirit. The cultural say-so it has these stumbling blocks set up in our mind and they engage our comfort zone, enlarging the territory of our personal comfort. These blocks keep the fullness of God’s light from purifying our soul. When we #ListenUp to The Bridegroom’s Voice of truth, it cuts through every block and paves the way for the purifying and powerful Light of God to cleanse the way to our spirit with God Truth that stands through the tests of times causing our honor to persevere and shine through bringing glory to God. Nothing thwarts God’s Word, absolutely nothing. So #ListenUP And #SpeakUP”! Author~KimberlyMac

Ephesians 1:15-19
God of our Lord Jesus the Anointed, Father of Glory: I call out to You on behalf of Your people. Give them minds ready to receive wisdom and revelation so they will truly know You. Open the eyes of their hearts, and let the light of Your truth flood in. Shine Your light on the hope You are calling them to embrace. Reveal to them the glorious riches You are preparing as their inheritance. Let them see the full extent of Your power that is at work in those of us who believe, and may it be done according to Your might and power.

1 Samuel 12: 13-15 “So now, here is the king you chose, the one you asked for. Yes, the Lord has put a king over you! If you will fear the Lord, worship him, obey him, and not rebel against the Lord’s command, and if both you and the king who rules over you follow the Lord your God—all will be well. But if you don’t obey the Lord and rebel against the Lord’s command, then the Lord’s power will go against you and your king to destroy you. Yes God has given us what we wanted, but has it changed anything? No. God is still in control and His will is purposefully in play in our generation. Turn to HIM. Fully Face Him. Live for Him – #WhollyHolySo #ThursdayTruth
#ThursdayTruth We are foolishly impulsive when our human condition is not self-controlled by the power of God in us. When God does not show up when we think He should do we impulsively take control of the situation and do our own thing?
1 Samuel 13: 11-14
“I saw that my troops were deserting,” Saul replied. “You hadn’t arrived by the appointed time, and the Philistines were gathering at Michmash. I thought, The Philistines are about to march against me at Gilgal and I haven’t yet sought the LORD’s favor. So I took control of myself and offered the entirely burned offering.” “How stupid of you to have broken the commands the LORD your God gave you!” Samuel told Saul. “The LORD would have established your rule over Israel forever, 14 but now your rule won’t last. The LORD will search for a man following the Lord’s own heart, and the LORD will commission him as leader over God’s people, because you didn’t keep the LORD’s command.”
My Thoughts:
The truth is that our impulsive nature, which is part of our human condition that needs to be self-controlled, is very foolish. Impulsive decisions are made when we don’t wait on God, when we don’t persevere in trust and belief that He is working in the unseen for our good. This is a breakdown in our vital-vertical communication with Him. When we know Him personally, we know without a doubt that He is working providentially for our good and for the glory of His Kingdom. His ways are not our ways, but His ways always end great for His Kingdom glory and for our best in that miraculous way of His that blows our mind because we can’t figure it out. By KimberlyMac
My Thoughts: The progression from impulse to foolishness: I saw, I thought, I took control. If we could wipe out the lie that the enemy is feeding us, the assumption, the presumption, the rationalization that he gives us, if we could stop it dead in our mind, then we no longer step out in the foolishness and the enemies scheming is all for naught. Take your thoughts captive by truth and there will be less and less foolishness being acted out of your life.
It must be our goal to work to being people walking wholly-holy in the fullness of truth. Living truly, being truth from every moment to every choice, being a person of truth. No assumptions played out, no rationalizations lived out, no presumptions positioned in our lives. Truth. Fully true. #BESo #ThursdayTruth #HELD

#ListenUP Our hearts want to honor God, we truly do. These days are difficult, right and wrong have been culturally tossed and fallen in the wrong order. It takes endurance, strength, courage and boldness to stand on the right side of truth. We need to hear The Bridegroom’s Voice, our souls need to be “fleshed out” and we need that vital-vertical relationship with God where He is daily speaking into our lives, His truth in our spirit. I believe with all my heart that The Bridegroom’s Voice is a great tool in the hands of God to get us back to the basics of listening and hearing His Voice. He is still speaking. This book, is so very unique in how it is written in the “first person” and you hear The Bridegroom’s Voice speak to you in that incredible way of His about His truth and way on many different topics. Then you can dig deeper and dive into His Word and be strengthened, prepared to endure and bring Him great honor during these days ahead. #TheBridegroomsVoice
Psalm 50: Look on me with a heart of mercy, O God, according to Your generous love. According to Your great compassion, wipe out every consequence of my shameful crimes. Thoroughly wash me, inside and out, of all my crooked deeds. Cleanse me from my sins. For I am fully aware of all I have done wrong, and my guilt is there, staring me in the face. VS 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; restore within me a sense of being brand new. Do not throw me far away from Your presence, and do not remove Your Holy Spirit from me. Give back to me the deep delight of being saved by You; let Your willing Spirit sustain me. If You do, I promise to teach rebels Your ways and help sinners find their way back to You. God is faithfully waiting for us to come to Him. He waits and when we come to Him, He doesn’t hesitate to embrace us with a mercy that this world can’t ever offer us and in His Mighty Right Hand we are renewed and strengthened. He washes off the temporary, fleshes out our soul, washes our spirit and we experience the permanence of our future and hope, that peace, purpose, and provision that is so miraculous. The Voice

John 7: 1-30 After this Jesus traveled throughout Galilee. He didn’t want to travel in Judea, because the Jewish authorities wanted to kill him. 2 When it was almost time for the Jewish Festival of Booths,3 Jesus’ brothers said to him, “Leave Galilee. Go to Judea so that your disciples can see the amazing works that you do. 4 Those who want to be known publicly don’t do things secretly. Since you can do these things, show yourself to the world.” 5 His brothers said this because even they didn’t believe in him.
6 Jesus replied, “For you, anytime is fine. But my time hasn’t come yet. 7 The world can’t hate you. It hates me, though, because I testify that its works are evil. 8 You go up to the festival. I’m not going to this one because my time hasn’t yet come.” 9 Having said this, he stayed in Galilee.10 However, after his brothers left for the festival, he went too—not openly but in secret.

“There are certain elements of the Scripture, such as historical claims, that are to be measured by the common standards of historiography. I invite people to do that—to check it out. Second, we want to test the claims of truth through the test of rationality. Is it logically consistent, or does it speak with a “forked tongue”? We examine the content of Scripture to see if it is coherent. That’s another test of truth. One of the most astonishing things, of course, is that the Bible has literally thousands of testable historical prophecies, cases in which events were clearly foretold, and both the foretelling and the fulfillment are a matter of historical record. The very dimension of the sheer fulfillment of prophecy of the Old Testament Scriptures should be enough to convince anyone that we are dealing with a supernatural piece of literature.” Author R.C. My focus is as jumpy as my reaction to all the things so quickly changing in our world. I realize today my mind is not totally committed to You first Jesus, to Your truth first. I read it, but do I live it in that wholly-holy kind of way? I muse on it, but do I move in the power of it? Is my mind committed and wholly-holy focused on the Word of God? Is God’s Word changing my dedication to devotion to You, first? Am I changing inward to outward in God character, being more and more like Jesus? Is my peace undisturbed by the human dysfunction whirling around me? Do I trust You, Jesus, taking refuge in You, hoping in You, placing confident expectation in You? Do I? No, not wholly-holy. Do I want to YES, transform me Jesus, change me and help me to seek Holy Ground in Your Presence, the place where peace is perfect and constant, where my mind is steadfastly committed and focused on Your Words and where my devotion and character are swaying with the rhythm of Your Infinite Love and Sovereign Will.” Written By Author~KimberlyMac

John 6:22-42 The next day the crowd that remained on the other side of the lake realized that only one boat had been there. They knew Jesus hadn’t gone with his disciples, but that the disciples had gone alone. 23 Some boats came from Tiberias, near the place where they had eaten the bread over which the Lord had given thanks. 24 When the crowd saw that neither Jesus nor his disciples were there, they got into the boats and came to Capernaum looking for Jesus. 25 When they found him on the other side of the lake, they asked him, “Rabbi, when did you get here?” Bread of life 26 Jesus replied, “I assure you that you are looking for me not because you saw miraculous signs but because you ate all the food you wanted. 27 Don’t work for the food that doesn’t last but for the food that endures for eternal life, which the Human One will give you. God the Father has confirmed him as his agent to give life.” 28 They asked, “What must we do in order to accomplish what God requires?” 29 Jesus replied, “This is what God requires, that you believe in him whom God sent.” 30 They asked, “What miraculous sign will you do, that we can see and believe you? What will you do? 31 Our ancestors ate manna in the wilderness, just as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.” 32 Jesus told them, “I assure you, it wasn’t Moses who gave the bread from heaven to you, but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven. John 6:33 The bread of God is the one who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” 34 They said, “Sir, give us this bread all the time!” John 6:35 Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. 36 But I told you that you have seen me and still don’t believe. 37 Everyone whom the Father gives to me will come to me, and I won’t send away anyone who comes to me. How can he now say, ‘I have come down from heaven’?”

Life is no longer happening to us, we are slowing down by the power of Your Holy Spirit and realizing what is going on. Holy Spirit, we starve to death without You, You nourish us, Father us, Comfort us and befriend us. We want to live our lives in a place of Shalom, of wholeness in all places, lead us Holy Spirit into all truth. Holy Spirit lead us into health and wholeness in the name of Jesus. Amen.

“God is not looking for extraordinary characters as His instruments, but He is looking for humble instruments through whom He can be honored throughout the ages.”
Author- A. B. Simpson
This is a season of preparation for us. As we cling to God, dig our life roots deeply in His Kingdom, we will have the power to endure and grow through it with a wholly-holy life of honor. No matter what is going on, with whoever, whenever, We will flesh out the natural and lean into the sovereign sway of God. We should step out into God’s way, His truth, His life and be a person with a personality that completely honors God with our life lived unto Him, wholly-holy. “When you sense the Spirit of God asking you questions that cause you to do a bit of self-examination, be willing to agree with God about what you find in your heart. God doesn’t convict you to condemn you. He purposes to change you into His likeness and bring you into intimate fellowship with Him.” Priscilla Shirer

“Nothing is permanent, nothing is secure, and nothing is without a hint of dread, because the chaos of evil, already in play in this world, is escalating in ways we never would have imagine to see or experience. On the Holy Ground of God’s Presence, in our vital-vertical personal relationship with Him, hope springs eternally. Our Holy Ground is never without hope and God’s Presence is never without peace. God’s hope and peace are the perfect permanence of Holy Ground and they secure our soul so even the chaos of this world is not dreaded.” KimberlyMac #MyGroomsmansJournal #TheBridegroomsVoice #Week8HolyGround

Isaiah 60:2

“When the acid of our pain eats through our denial, then we wake up to get on the right path. God’s loving discipline allows this to happen.” Kerry Shook #TrueThat#Jesus YOU are sovereign over us and you can use our human stupidness, transform it for good. You can, You will.
The world offers me way, way too many opinions and solutions, I need to stick to “THE Solution”, #Jesus and His way, truth and life.
We can totally exhaust ourselves trying to control everyone and everything. But God’s will is never thwarted, His will is actively working out His God purpose in our lives. We can’t avoid the will of God by our human striving and stressing. We may think we have made our own way, but God will take the stupidness of our human nature and use it to transform our lives for our good and His glory and we will come back full circle to what God is doing in us. God is doing something new every moment, we are either going to #MondayMove into the flow of His life in us or we are going to keep pushing and bucking up our will to the point of spiritual sickness where the enemy begins setting up a strong hold in our soul. I pray for us that we choose a consecrated life where all we cling to is God. #HELD

Jeremiah 9:23-24 Eternal One: Let not the wise boast in their wisdom, nor the mighty in their strength, nor the rich in their wealth. Whoever boasts must boast in this: that he understands and knows Me. Indeed, I am the Eternal One who acts faithfully and exercises justice and righteousness on earth. These are the things that delight Me. The Voice
