The Confident Woman Devotional Page 82 By Joyce Meyer Title: Be An Encourager

She comforts, encourages, and does him only good as long as there is life within her. Proverbs 31:12 Amplified Bible

Excerpts By Joyce Meyer:

Take the initiative and begin comforting and complementing your husband.

A spiritually mature woman will be the first to step out and do what is right, even if no one else is doing so.

A wise, understanding and prudent wife is a gift from the Lord.

When we compliment others, we begin to see ourselves in a better light.

In all my relationships, may I be the first to give, whether or not I receive the same back.

My Miraculous Musings: Why is it that in the relationships we are closest to, spend the most time with, that encouragement and complements are the least? These are the people who do the most for us, yet we begin taking it for granted, we stop saying thank you, we stop appreciating them, we stop encouraging and complementing. Lord, I think of You right now. You hold this world in order every single day, maintaining it, providing for us and do we stop and thank You, do we appreciate You, do we praise You enough? Selah! We Are PROMISED By AWE-Almighty GOD!

Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear and heed you. Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord. Jeremiah 29:12-14 – The Amplified Bible

Quotes To Glean God’s Wisdom And Love

“Trust in Him You can trust that God is working on His plan for your life; He is preparing it for you and you for it. His plan may not come on your timetable, but the arrival of your dream is coming. Just have a seat (trust in Him, enter His rest), and when the time is precisely right, He’ll call your name.” Author ~ Joyce Meyer Excerpt From Everyday Devotions

“We forfeit three-fourths of ourselves to be like other people.” — Arthur Schopenhauer

“Without trusting God, we will never experience satisfaction and enjoyment in life; we will always be striving to “make things happen” within our time line. We must remember God not only has plans for our lives, He also knows the perfect timing for each aspect of those plans. Fighting and resisting the timing of God is equivalent to fighting and resisting His will for our lives.” Author ~ Joyce Meyer Excerpt From Everyday Devotions

Any Christian who believes they can flourish in their walk while choosing to walk that walk independent from other believers has one hand on the door that leads to deception. Quote By: Anonymous

Who is your teacher? Who are you listening to most today? Who are you gleaning from? Who is teaching you? Who is your #ThursdayTeacher? This would be the person you lend your ear, heart, soul and spirit to the most today. Who will it be? Who will you lean your learning life into today?

Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by through Me. John 14:6

Jesus, Sanctify Us In Your Truth, Your WORD Is Truth. John 17:17

Send out your light and your truth; let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy hill and to your dwelling! Psalm 43:3

When a man answers, he answers a person who has been speaking to him. Who, then, had spoken to Christ? His Father. Yet there is no record of it; and this should teach us that Jesus had constant fellowship with his Father, and that God spake into his heart so often, so continually, that it was not a circumstance singular enough to be recorded. Quote By: Charles Spurgeon

For I have given them the words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you; and they have believed that you sent me. John 17:8

And then Jesus began to pray: Jesus: I praise You, Father—Lord of heaven and earth. You have revealed Your truths to the lowly and the ignorant, the children and the crippled, the lame and the mute. You have hidden wisdom from those who pride themselves on being so wise and learned. The Voice Matthew 11:25

“It was the habit and life of Jesus to talk with God. Even as Jesus was, in this world, so are we; let us therefore learn the lesson which this simple statement concerning him teaches us. May we likewise have silent fellowship with the Father, so that often we may answer him, and though the world wotteth not to whom we speak, may we be responding to that secret voice unheard of any other ear, which our own ear, opened by the Spirit of God, recognizes with joy.” Quote By: Charles Spurgeon

“Knowing what the Bible says about truth and hiding God’s word in our heart helps us to know when we are listening to the Voice of Truth.” Quote By ~ Pamela Williams

Teach me your way, LORD, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. Psalm 86:11 NIV

Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long. Psalm 25:5

Less Is More! Listen Extensively = Speaking Significantly!

Less of me is more of Jesus and I want the human reaction to disappear and the Godly response to always be so in my life. #LESSISMORE Jesus, help us to disappear in your TRUTH, listening to YOU first, so our lives can bring you glory. You are our Teacher, help us to hide in Your Ways, Life, Truth, so our finite disappears, our human condition becomes less and YOU become more clear to those around us! Jesus! Let It Be So! More of YOUR character showing, less of my human condition.

My Miraculous Musings: I Agree! Sometimes I do the “human condition” thing and I “react” impulsively, then I deeply regret it. I am really learning the difference between reacting and responding is truly the difference between finite and infinite! I am so trying to slow down, take that moment to connect with God, vital-vertical… and respond instead of react.

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. (NLT) ( Philippians 4:19 )

Do you look towards luck or superstition to have an impact on your circumstances? Don’t you want more than a random chance of good fortune? God has a purpose in our lives and everything happens for a reason. It’s always to draw your heart closer to Him. Work on uncrossing your fingers and instead say a prayer. There’s more power in purpose than random chance!

My Miraculous Musings: It is our human condition to do things on our own until our strength runs dry, we need to flip-flop that to the power that never ends, the strength that is always running strong and the Infinite, our HOLY Spirit in us Who is ready at all times to be our Advocate in the all of our everything. More of HIM, Less of our stupid human striving… useless is all that is. More strength in Christ, less striving in our own human devices. #BESo

Prayer Mentoring Exhortations

Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith, from which some, having strayed, have turned aside to idle talk, desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither what they say nor the things which they affirm.—1 Timothy 1:5-7

Lord forgive us for trying to teach others without Your power behind us. It is our nature to be so independent and do things in our own strength, a strength that fails us. It is erroneous on our part to think we can say anything anointed without a connection, a vital-vertical relational joining with You and the power of Your Holy Spirit.

My Utmost For His Highest August 28th Written By Oswald Chambers The Purpose Of Prayer

Another time Jesus was praying, and when He finished, one of His disciples approached Him. Disciple: Teacher, would You teach us Your way of prayer? John taught his disciples his way of prayer, and we’re hoping You’ll do the same. The Voice Luke 11:1

Excerpt By Oswald Chambers

Ask and God will do. BUT… Give Jesus Christ the opportunity and the room to work.

#Prayer is the way that the life of God in us is nourished. Our common ideas regarding prayer are not found in the New Testament. We look upon prayer simply as a means of getting things for ourselves, but the biblical purpose of prayer is that we may get to know God Himself.

My Miraculous Musings: It is so true that the first thing we think that prayer is all about is asking for something. We need to change that worldly viewpoint to a kingdom perspective that prayer is communion with God and that is how we get to know Him, relating, talking, listening, and praying to our God.

Now Here Is A Kingdom Perspective On Prayer:

“To say that prayer “changes things” is not as close to the truth as saying, “Prayer changes me, and then I change things.” God has established things so that prayer, on the basis of redemption, changes the way a person looks at things. Prayer is not a matter of changing things externally, but one of working miracles in a person’s inner nature.” Quote By: Oswald Chambers

A Minute With Maxwell

Manners: Do the thing that is appropriate. Out of respect for others do things that are appropriate. You do things that are right for the right reason because you value it. Why do we mind our manners wherever we are at? Because we value people, we respect people. Minding your manners is giving the respect due to the people you are with.
