Today Is The Day

This Is The Day God Has Made For Me, I Will Rejoice And Be Glad In It!

Preparation – Endurance -Honor

I will praise the Eternal in every moment through every situation. Whenever I speak, my words will always praise Him. Psalm 34:1 The Voice

A Constant Conversation With God

I enjoy a constant conversation with God every day. There are no compartments of my life that He is not in, that He is not speaking, leading, teaching and loving me. This is my personal journal where I keep some of the conversations that I have with God all day long! It is kind of sloppy, but I guess that is okay for this post because it is very personal, genuine and a place where I put some truly heart changing things for me. Everything usually ends up in my personal journal, it is sloppy and fun and I love the heavenly hindsight it provides. I am going to share with you today, a few conversation pieces I had with God during a week. I know you will enjoy it and be blessed by it, so enjoy and I pray the Holy Spirit speaks to you through one of my constant conversations with Him.

Isaiah 40:28-31

Don’t you know? Haven’t you heard? The Eternal, the Everlasting God, The Creator of the whole world, never gets tired or weary. His wisdom is beyond understanding. God strengthens the weary and gives vitality to those worn down by age and care. Young people will get tired; strapping young men will stumble and fall. But those who trust in the Eternal One will regain their strength. They will soar on wings as eagles. They will run—never winded,
never weary. They will walk—never tired, never faint. The Voice

Let’s Ramble!

The way to speak more significantly with less of me, my thoughts, my ways and more of God’s thoughts, ways and truths is to listen more extensively to Him. So I have agreed to a Great God Adventure through The Voice Bible with the Holy Spirit. He is going to “grow me through” as I listen to Him along the pathway of His Truth. I am not sure how long it will take us, so it won’t be one of those typical walk through the Bible with an everyday thing that has a perfect calendar ending. I am just going to follow God, listen to His Holy Spirit, learn from the living Word and write down the thoughts of God to encourage others. So here we go, the adventure begins at the beginning with Genesis and where we go, only the Holy Spirit knows.

Genesis Chapter One

Out of nowhere, time, space, and all the living whirl forth as God speaks the universe into existence. With the utterance of His voice, creation takes form, chaos yields to order, light eclipses darkness, and emptiness fills with life. Not long after God creates the first man, Adam, and the first woman, Eve, the story takes a tragic turn when the first couple disobeys the clear instruction from God not to eat the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. As a result, humanity falls from God’s intended perfection. The disastrous consequences of this decisive act are demonstrated in Cain’s murder of Abel, Noah’s flood, and the Tower of Babel. The Voice Commentary

Genesis 1:1-2 In the beginning, God created everything: the heavens above and the earth below. Here’s what happened: 2 At first the earth lacked shape and was totally empty, and a dark fog draped over the deep while God’s spirit-wind hovered over the surface of the empty waters. Then there was the voice of God.

My Thoughts: A silence like no other, a silence that had never been broken. It gives me chills when I read: Then… there was the voice of God. I can’t even fathom with my mind this scene of shapelessness, utter quiet, total emptiness. I mean as I look around me and see all this around me, I can’t imagine that, but then again I see it in my spirit, I see it as it is described by the powerful Word of God. I can imagine God’s amazing spirit hovering over the surface, the dark fog… I can imagine it… then God’s voice! That powerful, powerful voice of God, the One that I now hear in my personal relationship with Him, heart to heart, I hear Him, this Voice, the same voice that created the universe, wow… we have come a long way with God and I am so grateful that He pursued us and never gave up on us.

So as the result of the Messiah’s intervention they shall reverently fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him and put him to flight for He will come like a rushing stream which the breath of the Lord drives. My Thoughts: I love that picture, I can imagine being there, taking in the beauty that God created. I love walking in the snow after a fresh snow fall, everything is so white and I hope that for the Bride of Christ, that we will be white as snow, that God will prepare us to endure in holiness, dressed in our pure wedding garment, we will honor Him in ways that please Him like no other.

My Thoughts: Yes we, Bride of Christ are unshakeable! And we are also unstoppable, we belong to God and we are going to do the unlikely as we give our lives to Him, yes, we will do the impossible. God has given us big dreams, big visions and He is unstoppable and we are HIS servants… let’s do this with HIM! Be unstoppable!

Have you ever had a really good discussion about evangelism with the Lord? We talked so deeply about evangelism and how sometimes I think it is something we are to “do”, but it is truly something we are being, being on mission with God, and being openhearted with our YES on the table with God as we go out in the world, available for a divine appointment. We are building relationship bridges from where we can point people to Jesus, by being loving, kind, helpful and adding value to their lives. God showed me His perspective of how evangelism is stepping out in our corner of the world where He has planted us and being the life and message of Jesus Christ, being open-hearted to all those around us, everyone, everywhere, everyday who are in our sphere of God influence, being Christ like, this is evangelism in its purest form.

Listen To This Manna Worship:

In our today, I pray that we will be aware of God being with us, aware of people around us and be, be, be God’s light, truth, love in this day. May we be His heart, His hands, His voice, let it be so!

A Minute With Maxwell

“Intimacy! If you have three good friends in your life time you can consider yourself to be very fortunate. We have a lot of acquaintances but we need to be more than a friend, a person who cares, listens and adds value to you, a soul mate. We need to connect in more than a verbal level but a heart level. What friends do I have intimacy with, people who I can unload myself with and they care, share and understand me. This is intimacy.” By Dr. John Maxwell

My Thoughts: The first and foremost person we need to have intimacy with is Jesus Christ. Our relationship with Him needs to be more than on the acquaintance level, it needs to move into a deep and personal relationship where we are openhearted to Him and He is daily adding eternal value to our lives as we listen to His heart and care about what He cares about and add value to His name, to His Kingdom. We need to connect with God intimately, heart to HEART and spirit to SPIRIT, in a relationship, not in a religious way. Being religious, without relationship is the definition of acquaintance with God. God intimately understands us, do we take the time to intimately understand Him, His way, His truth, His life and be found in relationship with HIM and for Him? Because if we seek intimate relationship with Jesus, all of our other relationships will fall in holy alignment with this one and we will be on mission with the reputation of being openhearted, just like Jesus, a servant of the Father God, who is willing to sacrifice all to add eternal value to others. We need God Intimacy, we need more of God in our lives, less of this world.

Miraculous Musings Of KimberlyMac

For our knowledge is fragmentary, incomplete and imperfect, and our prophecy, our teaching is fragmentary, incomplete and imperfect. But when the complete and perfect (total) comes, the incomplete and imperfect will vanish away, become antiquated, void, and superseded. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; now that I have become a man, I am done with childish ways and have put them aside. For now we are looking in a mirror that gives only a dim, blurred reflection of reality as in a riddle or enigma, but then when perfection comes] we shall see in reality and face to face! Now I know in part, imperfectly, but then I shall know and understand fully and clearly, even in the same manner as I have been fully and clearly known and understood by God. 1 Corinthians 13:9-12 Amplified Bible

My Miraculous Musings: Lately all we are hearing more about speculation than we are about Jesus Christ, the full revelation, the one Who made a way for our future and hope. We hear about blood moons and how September 15th will change us forever, Jade Helm 15, the threat of martial law, catastrophes, wars and rumors of wars, an impending financial crash, out of control comets that will cause an east coast tsunami, all speculation. Stick to the scriptures plain and simple and don’t run off impulsively on the wings of what “might” happen, speculation is not revelation.

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! (NLT) ( Galatians 5:22-23 )

“Ever wonder if someone is a Christian? Take a look at their life. Do they express joy? Do they show love towards everyone? Do they display uncommon gentleness? The above qualities are inherent to the Holy Spirit. While these characteristics may not always be evident, it becomes a reflection of how spending time with God will produce these uncommon characteristics. What about you? Have you been spending time with the Holy Spirit to produce this kind of fruit in your life?” Written By Peg Radanovich

My Thoughts:It seems like people, whom we can’t live with and we can’t live without, truly test our joy. I have had a difficult test with someone in my life recently and I just had to make the decision that they are NOT going to steal my joy. Sometimes you have to take your focus off of things that are trying to steal it and stay wholly-holy aligned with God, trusting more. loving more, being offended less… Because God is forgiving, because of His amazing grace, because of His faithfulness to finish what He started in us, we may fail, but we fail forward… no dead ends with God, He is so for us. Holy Spirit Inspired=He speaks, I Listen-Learn-Obey!

I Received My Message From No Human Source. No One Taught Me. I Received It By Direct Revelation From Jesus Christ.

My Uptmost For His Highest February 26th Oswald Chambers, Excerpts From “Our Misgivings About Jesus”

Woman: Sir, You sit by this deep well a thirsty man without a bucket in sight. Where does this living water come from? John 4:11 The Voice

Excerpts Written By Oswald Chambers:

“My misgivings arise from the fact that I search within to find how He will do what He says. My doubts spring from the depths of my own inferiority.”

“Lord, I have had misgivings about You, I have not believed in Your abilities, but only my own. And I have not believed in Your almighty power apart from my finite understanding of it”

My Thoughts: Doubt is really a sign that we are seeing things only from a worldly perspective and we need to pray for the Holy Spirit to give us His Kingdom perspective, we need a fresh revelation of WHO He is and we need to see it through His eyes. Doubt comes when we look through the windows of our own eyes, from the outer view. The inner view, the window of our soul gets dusty when we are not spending time in the Presence of God, Who cleanses our soul, so we can see with spiritual eyes, through the purity of His Presence with His Mind, and His perspective leading us, setting our soul attitudes, renewing our spirit with the purity of His Truth. Misgivings in our mind, fog up the mirror of our soul so we no longer reflect Jesus through our inner life with Him from the inside to the outside. When we don’t have the clarity within, we will see and only be seen from the vantage point of the world and this is not living with a miraculous edge is surviving with a temporary light, a fire stirred by human doing that can only flame out and be smoldering embers. Living life with a miraculous edge is believing wholly-holy in the Infinitude of God and leaning your life into this power that can’t be reproduced by a finite being. Faith is belief in the unseen, believing it is true and acting upon it. Misgiving is believing in self alone, in humanity alone and does not stretch faith but disavows it with the condition of the finite, with doubt that only leads to human doings that fizzle out under the test of time.

Having misgivings, questioning God’s ability with finite reservation is clearly doubt and is the opposite of trust. To have a #TrustfulThursday, we must live life from the inside out and this begins with a heart to HEART connection with God. Dutiful devotional time never connects us in that kind of way that will bring about a surrendered life that is walking in a powerful belief, trust and faith of our AWE-GOD. Trust begins with a vital-vertical connection, a relationship that is real with our Living God. Let’s begin our day that way. Take a moment now and connect your spirit to God’s SPIRIT in quiet moment that leans you out of the finite, into the infinite miraculous edge of life as truly being God’s, wholly-holy His.

Preparation – Endurance -Honor

Everything I am “growing through” right now is God preparation, my soul is learning an incredible endurance and I am seeing how these two things will bring about a very durable honor in my life. KimberlyMac

Family Life – Prayer Exhortation

So Samuel told him what the Lord had said. “It is the Lord’s will,” Eli replied; “let him do what he thinks best.” 1 Samuel 3:17 TLB

“See God in everything, and God will calm and color all that you see. It may be that the circumstances of our sorrows will not be removed, their condition will remain unchanged, but if Christ, as Lord and Master of our life, is brought into our grief and gloom, ‘HE will compass us about with songs of deliverance.'” Streams In The Desert By L.B. Cowman

My Thoughts: As a family, we must learn to see God in everything, realizing that we are encompassed by Him. A lot of times our families are “growing through” stressful times, we are enduring long periods of time where there is no change for the better for us, but we know we are compassed about by God. We are His possession and we are in the flow of His power.

Quotes To Glean God’s Wisdom And Love

I read a lot. God leads me to different authors and I carry on a constant conversation with God as I glean His wisdom from what others have written. The Holy Spirit is really good at leading me to the right quote, right at the best timing for me. Awe-God!

“It is through dying to concern for self that we are born to new life with God and others; in such dying and rebirth, we find that life is lent to be spent; and in such spending of what we are lent, we find there is an infinite supply.” Author~ Glenn Olds

#Giving #DyingToSelf #Provision

My Thoughts:Dying to self is always great gain. It is such a paradox that is purposefully put in play by our God. We can never out give God. It is in the investing of ourselves in others where we find our greatest returned provision.

“There is a religious aspect to Christianity. We do worship, and we are involved in certain human activities, such as prayer and Bible studies and devotions. Our religious practices are similar to the practices of other religions. But Christianity is much more than a religion; it’s life.” Author~ R.C. Sproul

#Life #Traditions #Worship

“It may be difficult to understand why a test comes our way, but we must never forget that the test is accomplishing refining and purification.” Quote By~Billy Graham

#Test #Purification #Refining

“Nothing else but seeing God in everything will make us loving and patient with those who annoy and trouble us. They will be to us then only instruments for accomplishing His tender and wise purposes toward us, and we will even find ourselves at last inwardly thanking them for the blessings they bring us.” Author~ H.W.Smith

#‎Patience #‎Purpose #‎Wisdom

“Christianity is much more than a religion; it’s life. God is not pleased by any and all types of religious activity. Our religious activity may at times be insulting to God. Christianity itself can degenerate into being merely a religion; that is, it can have the external formal activities and sociological practices without the substance that motivates all these things—a profound love and devotion to God himself and a profound trust in Christ’s work.” Author~R.C. Sproul

#Religiosity #Motives #Devotion

“We focus on the size of the problem, the risks that they’re facing, the negative things others are saying, the pain of their past, their own unhealthy feelings and emotions, or their fear of failure. But there is no hope in those negative things. Those are all the things that are “down”, and looking to them will not help you make the climb. Look up, put your focus on the ONE Who will always help us.” Author~Joyce Meyer

A Minute With Maxwell

Minute with Maxwell is one of my favorite devotionals. John Maxwell takes a word from someone and he expounds on it and then everyone can comment. It is a fun way to learn so much in such a sort amount of time.

“When you have trust with people, it speeds up everything. You can get more accomplished because you are not having to trust their motives. Trust is the foundation of leadership and the speed of leadership. The more people trust you, the more ground you can cover. Trust is a word that every leader cherishes.” Dr. John Maxwell

My Thoughts: I have been so held back this past year from a person who did not trust me. The issue was in their heart from things that they had been through. I so yearned for that trust, but I never got it and my leadership was held back all that time.

Christine Caine Devotional

For I will restore health to you, and I will heal your wounds, says the Lord, because they have called you an outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no one seeks after and for whom no one cares! Jeremiah 30:17 Amplified Bible

My Thoughts:Oh ouch, how I can relate to that at times. The part that really touches my soul is where it says no one seeks after you. You have to initiate everything in your relationships and no one is pursuing you. Been there and felt that kind of lack and it is so hurtful in that deceptive way that the enemy likes to push us down with.

“You may have been delivered from your situation, but you still aren’t free. God was able to heal me—but I had to choose that healing. I had to accept that I needed help. I had to reach up to God and out to others as part of the healing exercise of a whole heart.” Author~ Christine Caine

“Only in returning to me and resting in me will you be saved. In quietness and confidence is your strength.” Isaiah 30:15 – NLT

Cast your troubles upon the Eternal; His care is unceasing! He will not allow His righteous to be shaken. Psalm 55:22 The Voice

Is God aware of us when things are going so wrong? Yes, we always have God’s full attention even when we have #TuesdayTroubles that seem to block our view of Him, He is with us, purposefully using everything in our life to prepare us for our future. Nothing is wasted with God and His purposes are flowing in our every challenge, paving the way for His goodness to breakthrough in great God glory! We hold on so tightly to our troubles that it hurts our souls, so let’s try something different, change things up and let go and let God and just be #HELD by Him as He works out our troubles with His good purposes.

“It is not the will of God to give us more troubles than will bring us to live by faith on him; he loves us too well to give us a moment of uneasiness but for our good.” Author~William Romaine

https://youtu.be/McKR9J6Ke7c

“There is no more blessed way of living, than the life of faith based upon a covenant-keeping God – to know that we have no care, for He cares for us; that we need have no fear, except to fear Him; that we need have no troubles, because we have cast our burdens upon the Lord, and are conscience that He will sustain us.” Author: Charles Spurgeon

We all have some kind of troubles we are “growing through”, we get tested, tried and sometimes wrung out by this fallen world, but we have to keep picking up our head and hopefully looking up to God, having huge expectations in HIM, because He is working it all out, He always has His purposes in play for us and He always has a good endgame in mind. His intentions are always good toward us. Trust Him. Yes we may live in a broken world, BUT GOD’s goodness is constantly breaking through, shining a bright Glory Glow on our broken roads.

“When you’re going through something and you’re not sure what to do, where to go, or even where to look… just look up. Look for the Lord. He is the One who can help you. He is the One who will rescue you. He is the One who refuses to let you fall. Jesus said to look up, for our redemption draws near. Our redemption is not in looking down. We look up to God expecting Him to redeem us.” Joyce Meyer

Worship Is Our Soul Manna!

Today there are wars and rumors of wars, but we deeply realize on great truth and that is nations will rise and nations will fall, but God is Lord of us all, He reigns, faithfully and constantly through it all from generation to generation, He reigns. We put our hope in God, knowing that His Kingdom is here and we declare it as our soul soars in the wonder of our Awe-God. Every day we get up and the sun rises in such beautiful splendor and we declare our praise, knowing that God is sending out His light and His truth as the earth declares the praises of our Mighty God. There is no one like our God, we praise Him with our lives today as His Holy Spirit stirs up the wonder of God’s holiness and Jesus reigns supreme. We know that every knee shall bow in adoration and worship of Jesus, Who will reign forever. We will declare that the Kingdom of God has come, His will done on earth as it is in heaven. AWE-God

I look up at the vast size of the mountains— from where will my help come in times of trouble? The Eternal Creator of heaven and earth and these mountains will send the help I need. The Voice
