Christ Sufficiency

I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me, I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am [self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency. Philippians 4:13 Amplified Bible

thought

“If you will do what you can do, God will do what you cannot do. Doors will open, a way will be made, and creative ideas will come. You will also inspire others to do what they can do, and even though each person can only do a little, together we can make a big difference.” Author~Joyce Meyer

Over Your Head?

Lately I have felt so far over my head and in chasing those feelings they usually dead end me in hopeless attitudes. I can see by this wisdom this morning from Joyce Meyer, that I have allowed the enemy to sit on my creativity by thinking that I was going to have to do this on my own, by giving into the evil enticement that I can’t do it, and by listening to the craftily divisive thought that I am in over my head.

Self Sufficiency In Christ

Am I in way over my head? Well, there is a truth to it in that half-truth, evil kind of way, but it is not wholly-holy true. If I am trying to do life within the borders of my own strength, then yes, I am in way over my head. But if I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency, then He is the lifter of my head, He is my strength, He is my wisdom, He is my sufficiency, He is my Way-Maker God.

Wholly-Holy Dependence

I realize that Jesus is my sufficiency and all things are possible in Him. The enemy wants to trick us out of walking in this truth, we must choose to follow Jesus, be wholly-holy dependent upon Him in the all of our everything because this is the best kind of self-sufficiency, the kind where we are found clinging to Him, digging our life rotos deeply in His Kingdom precepts.

Relationally Available

Relationally, be available to AWE-GOD, stay in constant heart to heart conversation with HIM, because He is speaking, guiding and wanting to be a huge part of your life and when you lean into His Sovereign Sway, this makes you self-sufficient in His strength and wisdom, Christ sufficient!

“I have no doubt that nearly everyone has been called by God at some time in the mot-too-distant past for a task that took them outside their comfort zone—maybe way outside. We may have felt like Moses did: “Lord, I’m not eloquent.” But that’s how God works. He chooses each of us to do something for him despite our past failures, limitations, and inadequacies. To the world, I looked unqualified. But God cared more about my willingness than my qualifications. Has God been urging you to step out of your comfort zone and into the calling he planned and equipped you for even before you were born? Can you put away your excuses and do as he asks?” Author~Christine Caine

God’s Purposes In Play

God’s Presence is such an amazing light in your life and it shines in such abundance wherever you go, with everyone you meet and in everyday you live, as you splash the Son-Light of God into every gray area and glow the Gory of God into every nook and cranny of this life. Not only are you self-sufficient in Him, but His God purposes are in play in your life, through you and for you, for the glory of His Kingdom. Shine Bright!

Choosing To Follow

I am choosing today to follow Jesus and be dependent upon Him alone, because in HIM, there is great possibility of being creative and knowing and experiencing something new and revelatory. Our enemy wants to lead us to and by dysfunctional feelings, but in Christ’s light, the darkness of our feelings is shattered and new hope restored. Remember the feelings that flood our soul, they are not right or wrong, they are just feelings, it is how we act on them that makes them right or wrong. The enemy can tempt us with negative feelings and we can choose to flip them to positive actions for the glory and honor of God. Yes, we can manage our emotions for God’s good because we can do all things through Christ Who strengthens us and makes us whole in that special holy way of His righteousness that makes us justified, just as if we never sinned.

An Amazing Sufficiency

Positioned in God’s grace, I am self-sufficient in His amazing sufficiency. I can be the God goodness in every situation God divinely places me. The divine appointments that I make when I am depending solely on God have an incredible miraculous edge to them, that points people to Jesus, directing them to fully face God Who can change lives and bring about the best in them. The problems of our lives have a good solution, and that solution is Jesus Christ and in Him we can be found in strength and peace that surpasses all of our understanding. It is in the amazing sufficiency of Jesus that we find our strength to honor our God in the all of our everything.

Lord, help me to do what I can do in whatever circumstance I am to bring about good. Quote By Joyce Meyer

“God is looking for imperfect men and women who have learned to walk in moment-by-moment dependence on the Holy Spirit. Christians who have come to terms with their inadequacies, fears, and failures. Believers who have become discontent with ‘surviving’ and have taken the time to investigate everything God has to offer in this life.” Author~Charles Stanley
