Christmas Season Wisdom

“I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous!” John 14:27

Take A Break

We are all created so differently, shaped so uniquely by God, the Wonderful One. Yet, we all were created to need soul rest. This will look different for each of us because we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Rest your soul. What do you need to have soul rest? Take A Break! God worked, creating the universe for six days, rested on the 7th day taking a Sabbath break. (Genesis 2:2) What is it for you that replenishes your soul, refreshes your soul? Life can be busy, but truly life is what we make it. We set our schedules; we make our plans. Does our planning for this week include some soul rest? Most likely no. We need to change this up.

Rest Your Soul

Do you have a hobby? Do you have something you enjoy doing, something that rests your soul? I like walking the beach, playing golf or reading a good novel. When I am out on the golf course, it is not so much about “my game” that brings me peace, it is more about the rest it brings to my soul. Outdoors, fresh air, a game I enjoy, this rests my soul. What rests your soul? Choose to rest your soul today, even if it is just taking a minute break to hear from God, to soak His Peace into your soul.

Christmas ~ Jesus Came To Us ~ Come To Him

The Wonderful One – A child has been born for us; a son has been given to us. The responsibility of complete dominion will rest on his shoulders, and his name will be: The Wonderful One! The Extraordinary Strategist! The Mighty God! The Father of Eternity! The Prince of Peace! Great and vast is his dominion. He will bring immeasurable peace and prosperity. He will rule on David’s throne and over David’s kingdom to establish and uphold it by promoting justice and righteousness from this time. Isaiah 9

Breath… Just Breathe

Remember the reason for this Christmas Season. It is Jesus. Focus is important. In all the hustle and bustle of this Christmas time, don’t forget to breathe, just breathe in Jesus. We make so many choices all day long, little choices that add up. What is the sum of your choices? On this day will we choose Jesus first? Will we put God first in our busyness, will He be the first choice? Will we today choose to avail ourselves of our Counselor, our Mighty God, our Prince of Peace? In the most “wonderful time of the year” will Jesus be our “Wonderful One”? Breathe! Just Breathe! Take this minute and listen up and be inspired by the Godly Wisdom in this 1 Minute Encouragement Video:

Say “NO” To Soul Exhaustion

We push ourselves too hard and sometimes don’t take any kind of rest until we crash and burn emotionally. This life season is very much a “hustle-bustle” and we can get so caught up in it, that before we know it, we are soul fatigued and not good for anything or anyone. Soul exhaustion is the enemy’s playground for confusion.  We see more clearly when we have rested, it brings out in us a gratitude, an acknowledgement of God, seeing unmistakably His Sovereignty in our lives, and the things He has accomplished in us and through us. We get that sweet “heavenly hindsight” clarity when we take “time out” from life’s goings and comings.

Replenish Your Soul

Rest your soul, replenish your soul, take time out with God, and do something that “floats your boat”, something you love doing, something that rests your mind and soul. Maybe even do nothing, wouldn’t that be a change? We were created to need soul rest, to just breathe into our soul some God harmony. Step away, apart from the chaos, deeply breathe in the peace of God. When is the last time you did this? Take a moment now and wholly-holy align your heart with God’s heart. Heart To Heart, be replenished in your soul by God.

Slow Down

I encourage you during seasons of high stress, like Christmas time, the holiday time where everything is a fast pace, that you take a Sabbath, a soul rest away from all the stress and chaos of life, just You and God? Try it. Wholly-Holy align your soul with God and listen up to Him without any distraction. It will rest your soul, it will make you a better, stronger person who walks with clarity in followship of God. God bless ya. Get some soul rest. Just breathe in God! Peace to you! Live life with clarity, confidently and courageously because it is well with your soul. Dig Deeper: https://thebridegroomscafe.com/beauty-tagged-by-peace/
