“Our problems may stay, our circumstances may remain, but we know God is in control. We are focused on His adequacy, not our inadequacy.” Charles Stanley
White-Knuckle Grip
Do you have that “white-knuckle” grip on the plans for your life in this world. Got intentions and obsessions that create conditions in your relationship with God and others? Today is a good day, to let go, open your hands up to God and give Him control. God’s love is what will free us from the grip we have on our lives. Do you have shattered human plans? Things you have hoped for just fall through your hands?
The king’s heart is like channels of water in the hand of the Lord; He turns it whichever way He wishes. Every man’s way is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs and examines the hearts [of people and their motives]. Amplified Bible
God Genuinely Loves Us
God, Your Way-Maker also has plans and His purposes are in play in your life, intentions that will lead you into His Arms of love. Lay down your intentions. Lay down your obsessions. Fully face God, the only One Who genuinely loves you and wants you without any attached strings. God’s motives and intentions for us are purely honorable and purposefully good. We can’t wrap our finite mind around the way God loves us Infinitely, with an abundance that we could not begin to hope for or imagine.
“If through faith you have placed your eternal destiny in the loving hands of Jesus Christ, you can be sure that God is at work, shaping the events and circumstances of your life into a beautiful mosaic that will reveal His Son to the men and women around you. His hand is on you, as it has been since before you were born.” Chuck Smith
Change Your Position
Change your life position and situate yourself in the flow of the purposes of God, place your life wholly-holy aligned with God’s Grace and love. The Father God’s Infinite Love and Sovereign Will go hand in hand. One is never operating without the other. Open your heart and hands to God and surrender to His Love, taking your hands off your life plans and opening your heart to God’s Providential Care, which consists of two amazing purposes: God working for your good and God working for His Kingdom Glory.
The spirit often throws him into the fire or into water, trying to kill him. Have mercy on us and help us, if you can. “What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.” The father instantly cried out, “I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!” When Jesus saw that the crowd of onlookers was growing, he rebuked the evil spirit. “Listen, you spirit that makes this boy unable to hear and speak,” he said. “I command you to come out of this child and never enter him again!” Then the spirit screamed and threw the boy into another violent convulsion and left him. The boy appeared to be dead. A murmur ran through the crowd as people said, “He’s dead.” But Jesus took him by the hand and helped him to his feet, and he stood up. Mark 9:22-27 New Living Translation
God’s Providential Care
Surrender to the Providential Care of God and wait, watch and see the two God purposes of Providential Care come into play in your life. The working together of these two purposes, doesn’t always make a way in the seen that we can wrap our mind around. We we must trust, we must surrender, we must believe God. It is easy to say: I believe in God, it is harder to say, I believe God. It is a matter of access. We can believe in God, yet remain in total control of our lives, or we can believe God and give Him total access to our life plan. Total Access is giving God control of all the processes of our every moment to our every choice.
“Snuggle in God’s arms. When you are hurting, when you feel lonely, left out, let Him cradle you, comfort you, reassure you of His all-sufficient power and love. He has held me when I have had no more strength and have wondered how I would ever make it. He has held me when I have felt defeated by all that I had to do. When I have run to my El Shaddai, I have never come away wanting. He is my all-sufficient One. O Beloved, do you understand? Have you experienced Him as your El Shaddai? If not, He is waiting – arms opened wide – for you.” Kay Arthur
