Dread In Your Head?

Fill your thoughts with my words until they penetrate deep into your spirit. Then, as you unwrap my words, they will impart true life and radiant health into the very core of your being. So above all, guard the affections of your heart, for they affect all that you are. Pay attention to the welfare of your innermost being, for from there flows the wellspring of life. Proverbs 4:21-23

Got Dread And Self-Doubt?

You will find yourself plagued by self-doubt if you don’t deal with the chatter of dread in your head. All those negative thoughts that stir up dread in your head, and stir up a whirlwind of emotions and bad attitudes in your soul they come out in your behavior. Dread is a victory squasher and sets the atmosphere for failure in your life. I find that golf teaches me a lot. The holes that I have not done well on consistently are because of dread. I actually dread playing that hole because of my past performances. Why is that? Well I step up with my club in my hand and my thoughts of dread in my head when I go to tee off. I cause my own failure. Now, I am learning to think on good things, kicking out the dread in my head. Listen Up To This 1 Minute Encouragement Video:

Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them].Philippians 4:6-8

No Dread Allowed In Our Head

This is such good wisdom. Think on good things. We should not let dread stay in our head, but, let the peace of God rule us, covering all of us from our head to our soul, to our spirit, to our heart. No Dread Allowed In Our Head! As we roll out today with God, from (Romans 1:17) faith to faith, we will grow through every situation with His Grace, and be established in His strength. Without dread leading our head, and with God’s navigation of truth and peace, all the situations of our life story will end in HIS kind of “well with our soul”, written with that incredible touch of miraculous transformation.

The Foundation Of Dread Is A Lie

Dread is never based on truth. That statement in itself should be a warning to us to get the dread out of our head. We really don’t want our soul enemy in our head. (2 Corinthians 11:3) Just sayin…we have these presuppositions and presumptions rolling around in our mind, these are never truth, because only God knows the future. So when we presume something, it is not God speaking.  So, this lie, this presupposition we are mulling over in our mind also comes with our reaction, and now we our thinking about a response, to a non reality, (Hebrews 6:18) that is not from God. Crazy stuff when we engage with the enemy of our soul in our thought life.

Who Is Navigating Our Thoughts?

God is here with us right now, He is omnipresent with us with truth and peace. So where is the dread coming from that brings confusion, discouragement, and lies of assumption, presumption, and speculation? (2 Corinthians 11:3) If God is the encourager, comforter, wisdom, and peace, then who is navigating our thoughts with dread?

God Still Speaks! Listen UP:

Jesus has this say so: Got dread? My say-so is alive in the reality of truth with Me, Jesus, as the One speaking, so listen up to Me and cast out every other voice in your head. (2 Corinthians 10:3-5) I am here with you, now, and I paid a huge price to be so, Present with you, right now. (Isaiah 42:16) I know you have things in your mind right now that are not reconciled, not finished, that are even crooked places that still need renewal. This is at the root of your dread. Do you not believe that I am straightening these crooked places, purposefully so? Yield to my purposes and their timing in play in your life, (Romans 8:28-31) this matters to the spiritual growth I have planned for you in this day. You believe in me, you have faith in Me, I know from your past, you have grown through some tough things, and that you know I am trustworthy, faithful, and true. Yet, your presuppositions are the outward display of the inward reality of doubt and dread, these are two things the enemy uses to steal your peace. (John 10:10)

Dread Is The Enemies Echo Of Failure

Yes, I know what you are growing through, this (Isaiah 45:2-3) crooked place where you keep getting tangled up in presumption from the enemy of your soul. I heard you at your first cry when the dread overwhelmed you. I am here with You, I have not left you, betrayed you, or forsaken you.  (Psalm 16:8-11) I am working in the unseen for your good and my glory, taking my time to purposefully shape every person, yes, every person in this story of your life. I hold the pen. So, give Me the dread and stop repeating the enemies echo of failure in your head.

Dread Is Unbelief

Jesus says: Listen up to Me, things that are unreconciled cause pain in your soul, I am in the pain, right now, right here with you to help you bear it, to be your comfort. (1 Thessalonians 5:5-6) You belong to Me, child of the day, yet, You choose to run with the thoughts of the enemy, thoughts that presume, and leave dread in your head, and pay doubt forward. (Proverbs 4:20-27) Dread is unbelief, you dread the outcome of this situation because you do not believe I can fix it, you lean into the untruth of presumption, and you fall on your face every time you do this, it wrecks havoc with your soul. (John 6:28-29) Let’s change that up and transform your mind. Stand on My truth, in this moment, with Me, and you will not be moved, (Psalm 16:8) you will be established in My strength and you will finish well.

At A Dead End? Listen Up:

Let me tell you the truth my child, dread is the perfect poison dart of the enemy, it is a path to a dead end, a place where the enemy steals your hope, destroys your trust, and kills your faith. (Ephesians 6:11-18) Even so, at this dead end, the enemy presumes your future will be without Me, but the presuppositions of the enemy of your soul, that he thinks his dread has power over you, blinds him once again to the reality of My truth,  and My Love, and how it never stops giving, and My mercy, in how I stay with you, even if you don’t deserve My Presence. Yes the enemy underestimates my patient endurance, and the truth that I will never quit on you, and at the dead end of your hope, I am there with My Grace, God’s riches at Christ’s expense. (Hebrews 10:36-39)

It Seems To Be A Dead End

Let me tell you the truth my child, dread is the perfect poison dart of the enemy, it is a path to a dead end, a place where the enemy steals your hope, destroys your trust, and kills your faith. (Ephesians 6:11-18) Even so, at this dead end, the enemy presumes your future will be without Me, but the presuppositions of the enemy of your soul, that he thinks his dread has power over you, blinds him once again to the reality of My truth. Dread says this is not reversible, there is no way out, it is a dead end. Yet, the enemy of your soul, doesn’t factor in the characteristic of My Love, and how it never stops giving, and underestimates My mercy, in how I stay with you, even if you don’t deserve My Presence. Yes the enemy underestimates my patient endurance, and the truth that I will never quit on you, and at the dead end of your hope, I am there with My Grace, God’s riches at Christ’s expense. (Hebrews 10:36-39) Listen Up To This 1 Minute Encouragement Video:

It Is An Illusion

Jesus continues with His incredible (Hebrews 4:12) wisdom by saying to us this: At every dead end, I am there, the enemy can’t extinguish My light of truth, there is always a glimmer of hope, it is Me, right beside you. I defeated the enemy of your soul, resist Him, shake off the dread, cast down the presumptions and stomp on them with My Truth. There is not a dead end, it is an illusion, a lie, I never stop working for you. You asked, I will answer, I am the only ONE Who goes ahead, I stand in front of You, as Your shield of protection.

Blessed be the Lord, because He has heard the voice of my supplications. The Lord is my Strength and my [impenetrable] Shield; my heart trusts in, relies on, and confidently leans on Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song will I praise Him. The Lord is their [unyielding] Strength, and He is the Stronghold of salvation to [me] His anointed. Save Your people and bless Your heritage; nourish and shepherd them and carry them forever. Psalm 28:6-9

Snap Out Of Your Day-Dreaming

I lead, you stay in followship, right now with Me, the Only One Who finishes strong and well. (Philippians 1:6) I am a great finisher! Therefore My child, if any thought causes you to think ahead of me, like those presuming thoughts that drag you to dark dead ends by the rope of doubt and leave you stranded with dread, at a presumed dead end, this is of your making, not Mine. (Job 13:21) Snap out of your day dreaming and stay in the Present with Me, exchange the things that darken your soul and destroy like: presupposition, dread, doubt and unbelief for the life light of truth, trust, hope and belief in Me, Who I AM.

The Lord of hosts–regard Him as holy and honor His holy name [by regarding Him as your only hope of safety], and let Him be your fear and let Him be your dread [lest you offend Him by your fear of man and distrust of Him]. Isaiah 8:13

Gotta Love Those Golf Life Lessons…

Wow, that was really a good exhortation from Jesus, and to think that came out of my golf game where I dreaded this one hole, I called it my “cursed hole” because I always did badly on this hole. But, now I do not, I have gotten dread out of my head and every day I play golf, it is a new day and this hole is not cursed, it is a challenge that I meet  with God, playing for God, (Colossians 3:23) without dread in my head and I have done much better because of my head not being in dread when I tee off on this hole. But, the truth is, God had something deeper (Hebrews 2:14) to say to me, a deeper work to do in my soul, because dread had derailed me in a very serious way in my life, not my golf life, but my life and God freed me. See, the game of golf is very useful to God!!!  Awe-GOD!
