Love, Love, Love… All you need is love. Oh, that is not completely 100 percent true. We think love, that feeling of gushy love, where your heart is pounding and your palms are sweating is such a great feeling. We step into love and think it is perfect, but unfortunately human love is never perfect, and never quite enough to meet our needs. We were created to need God and there is not even one human being on the face of the earth that could meet all of our need to be loved. We are loved so well by God. He is so good to us. His love, is so abundant, so incredible in so many ways that we, human beings can’t even begin to wrap our minds around it. Everything we need now and even unto forever will be met in the love of God.
My Heart Thoughts
There are those days, it seems pretty much lately like they are every day, where the stank of life overtakes the fragrance of God’s love. Situations of life overwhelm us and we try to be the fixer, instead of clinging to God’s Love, knowing the courage that such a love, as great as His brings. Courage that feeds patient endurance as we wait on God, Who is the Fixer. His love for us is everlasting, so it endures the daily challenges of our life. God’s love does not fail us in those wilderness times of life, it outlasts all the stresses of our lives. God’s love is an overcoming force of courage, no doubt about it, it leans us into a stable soul peace, which helps us to be successfully endure in the heat of trials, to never give in or give up. When the enemy thrashes all around us, we depend on God’s Love, it strengthens us, it empowers our potential, it lights up the darkness around us with enduring hope. Such incredible love from an amazing God, devotion which is freely given, with no strings attached, unconditional. Awe-GOD!
