John 3:30 He must increase and I must decrease
“The reason why many are still troubled, still seeking, still making little forward progress is because they haven’t yet come to the end of themselves. We’re still trying to give orders, and interfering with God’s work within us.” A.W. Tozer
Sick Of Yourself?
Where are you? At the end or the beginning? Full? Empty? Dry? Swallowed by Shame? Guilted? On this day, no matter where you are, you will be led by God and loved completely by God as you turn to fully face Him. Every day is a new day, even if you have lost your way, it is not the end, God is always doing a new thing. Follow Him, wholly-holy so. Being sick of yourself is a great position to be in. Watch, wait and see God work.
At The End Of Yourself?
Having a bankrupted human condition, at the end of all things self, is a great place to be, because the best of new beginnings is about to be known. At this point, you only know what you know, but a step in the direction of surrender, causes a wholly-holy alignment with God. Now, you will know what God knows, just how much you need Him and how valuable a vital-vertical relationship with Him is to you.
Got Compassion Fatigue?
The compassion of the self-dependent ends in compassion fatigue. Weariness leads by stubborn pride and exercises a debunked human trait of a strong willfulness, which in the end fails, this is the story of the human condition. We must let go of all things us, give God total access to our souls. In this position of wholly-holy surrender, we experience God’s power infused passion, which is totally able to stand through all the tests and trials of our time. There is nothing quite like dependence on God, it is a new God Adventure every single day as we live in the reality of His truth and the revelation of His Promises.
Those of us who belong to the Anointed One have crucified our old lives and put to death the flesh and all the lusts and desires that plague us. Now since we have chosen to walk with the Spirit, let’s keep each step in perfect sync with God’s Spirit. Galatians 5:24-25 The Voice
Human Doings = Human Burn Out
Were you sent by God, yet the way got confusing and darkness enshrouded you, causing you to stumble and lose your way. How could that happen? Well, sometimes in our human condition, we think we know more than God knows, and we falsely rationalize that we can do what God asked us to do, our way, the easier way. We’ve got this. Ummm, no, and yes, this will be a crash and burn scenario by the way of a human flesh out, that will ultimately, no doubt about it, end our great idea of foolish, self-direction. God always meets us at the burn out of our human doings, and God will give us an opportunity for surrender, death to our independent soul and a new beginning for wholly-holy dependence on God. This is our God, thankfully so.
A Sweet Place~ Mess Meets God’s Mercy
At the end of ourselves, the best course of action is a surrendered followship. When we do things our own way, we dead end, but it here at the end of ourselves, a Kingdom Perspective can truly begin. True Followship is always started at the end of ourselves, where our finite mess meets God’s Infinite Mercy and becomes His Message of glory, purposefully so for His Kingdom. In followship of God, there is always enough light step by step and in the hope of the truth of our eternity, we glimmer God’s Glory, we light up the world we live in and influence others with the hope of Jesus. This is a sweet place.
“The more we let God take us over, the more truly ourselves we become — because he made us. He invented all the different people that you and I were intended to be. It is when I turn to Christ, when I give up myself to His personality, that I first begin to have a real personality of my own.” C. S. Lewis
Are We There Yet? Surrender To Followship?
When you have been sent, and the way is confusing, don’t try to figure it out by yourself, look to God, look to the prophecy already spoken, look to His Promises and go back to the last place you had His Light. God will guide you by the light of His Truth and by the Light of His Holy Spirit. Ask God and the Holy Spirit will speak what is true, confusion is of the devil, so either you cracked the door open or he is trying to steer you off course, either way, God is still your Advocate, whose navigational compass is never unbalanced by evil. God knows the way and God is the Way-Maker. Wait on Him. He will make crooked places straight and direct you. You will know the joy of one who was lost, that now is led through the darkness by a God Light, an effervescent glory glow, that the enemy of your soul can never extinguished. Today, on this day, you will be led by God, look to His Light, focus and follow. In order to experience true followship of God, you must already have experienced wholly-holy surrender of self to God. Are we there yet?
Jesus: Move out into deeper water, and drop your nets to see what you’ll catch. Simon (perplexed): Master, we’ve been fishing all night, and we haven’t caught even a minnow. But . . . all right, I’ll do it if You say so. Simon then gets his fellow fishermen to help him let down their nets, and to their surprise, the water is bubbling with thrashing fish—a huge school. The strands of their nets start snapping under the weight of the catch, so the crew shouts to the other boat to come out and give them a hand. They start scooping fish out of the nets and into their boats, and before long, their boats are so full of fish they almost sink! Luke 5 The Voice
Christian songs are so inspiring in that way they can speak directly to our spirit, things we need to hear, at the perfect time. This is our God, this is one of the ways He speaks what is true to us. I love being daily inspired by Christian music and I love to miraculously muse as I meditate on what the song is speaking to my spirit. The Miraculous Musing table at the café is a sweet spot in The Bridegroom’s Café, where God infuses our spirit with a sugar rush of His inspiration. I hope you enjoyed your soul treat today. It is always good to hear The Bridegroom’s Voice and I highly encourage you to journey through the Great God Adventure in the book I penned and God wrote: The Bridegroom’s Voice. God bless you much, Kimberly Mac. PS… Please bless someone else with this “sweet treat” of God by using the social media buttons below to share it.
