Forever

1 Peter 1:23 For through the eternal and living Word of God you have been born again. And this “seed” that he planted within you can never be destroyed but will live and grow inside of you forever. TPT

Worldly View Point Or Kingdom Perspective

Jesus, take our eyes off this world and focus our spiritual eyesight on You, Your Will, Your Way, Your Word. I pray we would desire a forever love and joy more than we do the temporary pleasures and lusts of this world. We chase after so many things that truly don’t matter to a people whom God has written eternity on their hearts. Our focus is here and now, where we can’t seem to see past our worldly viewpoint to God’s Kingdom perspective. Change It UP! God has so much more for us, we need to look up to Jesus, our Savior, our Redeemer, our Forever.

Does My Behavior Reflect My Forever?

In this generation we are chasing after no power higher than self. As we bow to all the idols this illegitimate pursuit spawns, our human condition becomes more deplorable. Fleshing out in every direction, after every cause for what we “think we know”, we are drifting further and farther away from God and His way, truth and life. Jesus, our hearts are the throne You so deserve to sit at, yet we have enthroned the temporary things of this world. Holy Spirit, speak what is true in our hearts and break the chains of our enemy’s fake reality. We pray you take away the favor of our enemy, no longer giving our adversary permission to speak false narrative into our heart. Guard our hearts, Jesus, our Deliverer, and keep us from the deception that keeps us chasing after the whirl-winds of our destructive cultural trends. Father God, rid our heart desires of things that have nothing to do with You and Your Kingdom. We pray for a forever focus of our spiritual eyes on Jesus, the only One, worthy of our love-adoration, the only One Whom we should bow our lives too. Holy Spirit, navigate us with Your wisdom, to help us stop our impulsive pursuit of the things of the flesh, and fall radically in love with our Savior, Jesus, our forever future and forever hope.

Romans 6:21-22 So tell me, what benefit ensued from doing those things that you’re now ashamed of? It left you with nothing but a legacy of shame and death. 22 But now, as God’s loving servants, you live in joyous freedom from the power of sin. So consider the benefits you now enjoy—you are brought deeper into the experience of true holiness that ends with eternal life! TPT
