And now, what have I here?” says Yahweh. “Indeed, my people have been taken into bondage without cause while mocking rulers howl; and every day my name is continually despised!” says Yahweh. 6 “Therefore, my people will know the power of my name, and they will know in that day that I am the one who promised them, saying, ‘Behold, I am here!’ 7 What a beautiful sight to behold—the precious feet of the messenger coming over the mountains to announce good news! He comes to refresh us with wonderful news, announcing salvation to Zion and saying, “Your Mighty God reigns!” Listen! The watchmen are shouting in triumph! Lifting their voices together, they are singing for joy! For right before their eyes, they can see [face to face] Yahweh returning to Zion! Isaiah 52:5-8
We are told to proclaim the wonderful news—not the bad news that brings despair and fear but the good news of our God, who reigns in the midst of his people. TPT Commentary
The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him. But he will sweep away his enemies in an overwhelming flood. He will pursue his foes into the darkness of night. Nahum 1:7-8 NLT
“God of the good morning, refresh us as we awake from our long dark night of slumber. We arise in the dawning of Your Light. The nightmare we have endured, the dreams of an enemy overthrowing all that is good, replacing it with evil, this is a dead dream, a fake reality, a false narrative, which will never be able to choke out the reality of truth. In the Supremacy of our God, under the Rulership of His love, we revel in the triumph of the cross of Jesus Christ. Arise Oh Sweet Morning In The Newness Of God’s Compassion. What a beautiful sight to behold, the Infinite has come, and death was deadened forever, never to invade us again with its finite finality. The Infinite trumped the finite, announcing salvation, with a promised future, a guaranteed hope.” KimberlyMac
The good news is the morning Son has risen and awakened all of us from the death of our dreams, to the incredibly good news of His Salvation. The wonderful news amidst the darkness of the human condition run amuck in lawlessness, rebellion, self-revelry, illegitimate supremacy, violent mob bullies, is the promised Redeemer, with the message of His good news. The joy of our salvation has come, is here, now, with us, and the darkness will be shattered by His Supreme command. Jesus ushered in the greatest transformation known to mankind, from death to life and He is able to be our Transformer, He can change up hearts. Our mighty God reigns. Our Savior has not left us to the will of our enemy and will transform our dark night of mourning to a new Sonrise, a brilliant light of the morning.
The splendor-light of heaven’s glorious sunrise. Jesus the Savior is the dawning light of a new day to this dark world. This “sunrise” is the appearing of Jesus, our Dayspring is about to break upon us in holy visitation, all because the merciful heart of our God is so very tender. 79 The word from heaven will come to us with dazzling light to shine upon those who live in darkness, near death’s dark shadow. And he will illuminate the path that leads to the way of peace.” Luke 1:78-79
Wonderful News! Our God Is Not Mocked! The Holy Spirit of God works in the unseen for our good, purposefully so, advancing the Kingdom of God, the watchmen are shouting in victory from faith to faith. We have been washed, cleansed with the latter rain, therefore watch in prayer, wait in faith and see the Glory of God revealed in us and through us by the infilling of His Holy Spirit in times such as these. We will overflow with the anointing of God’s Holy Spirit, Bride of Christ. What a beautiful sight to see, as we add value of joyful hope, spreading wonderful Kingdom news from person to person, being God’s messengers of compassion, kindness, goodness and proclaiming the coming of Christ, a good future and hope. Be alive in Christ and add forever value to someone’s life today, wherever your feet go today, leave a trail of God’s goodness, peace, kindness, hope, truth, love, compassion and faith.” KimberlyMac
‘The God of Israel spoke. The Rock of Israel said to me: ‘The one who rules righteously, who rules in the fear of God, is like the light of morning at sunrise, like a morning without clouds, like the gleaming of the sun on new grass after rain.” 2 Samuel 23:3-4
