When Jesus Christ shed his blood on the cross, it was not the blood of a martyr; or the blood of one man for another; it was the life of God poured out to redeem the world. Quote By: — Oswald Chambers
I Love The Good Friday Message in this Worship Spotlight, “This Is How Love Wins” by Stephen Curtis Chapman! I listened to it and the tears just streamed down my face as I realized how much our God’s heart desires us and how He never stops reaching for us, even to the point of a thief, dying on the cross, whose final moments are encountering Jesus. How incredibly powerful that is!
“Jesus wasn’t the only one being crucified that day. There were two other criminals, who were being crucified, one to the right of Jesus, one to the left of Jesus. Cynical Criminal: You’re supposed to be the Anointed One, right? Well- do it! Rescue Yourself and us! But the other criminal told him to be quiet. Believing Criminal: Don’t you have any fear at all? You’re getting the same death sentence He is. We’re getting what we deserve since we’ve committed crimes, but his man hasn’t done anything wrong at all! Turning to Jesus he said: Jesus, when you come into Your kingdom, please remember me. Jesus said: I promise you that this very day you will be with Me in paradise.” Luke 23:42-43″
God’s Love Wins! God’s Love Will Win! It is never too late! We have not and will not reach the end of God’s Patience. It doesn’t matter what we have done or what we are currently doing, God is still reaching for us, He is patiently enduring and He will never stop until He persuades us to join Him in paradise!
Death Is Silenced! The Love Of Jesus Christ, Our Savior, Our Redeemer, This Incredible, Self-Sacrificing Love Silenced Death Forever! God’s perfect love dealt the death blow to death and all the fear of it. We are no longer trapped in the death of our past, Jesus made a way out. We don’t have to be who we were!
Our old history ends with the cross; our new history begins with the resurrection. Quote By Watchman Nee
Beautiful Agony! Jesus Christ suffered so much for us and to Him it was a beautiful agony because He knew the purpose of it, He knew that our shame and the Grace of God were colliding on the crossbeams of the wood He was nailed too and He knew the Grace of God would prevail.
Sacrificial Love! Receive this beautiful sacrifice of love, bow before Jesus, heart to heart, spirit to spirit and ask Him to forgive your sins, receive this incredible love in your heart, this love of God that climbed upon a tree, where it was paying the consequence of someone else’s sin, our sins. Jesus Christ bled into the gaping sin-wound that separated us from the Father God and healed it, reconciling us back to the Father God by His righteousness.
The heart of Christianity is the bible, the heart of the bible is the cross and the heart of the cross is the very heart of God. Inscribed upon the cross we see in shining letters. “God is love”. The Lamb who died upon the tree has bought mercy from above.
Saving Love! This Great Love Of Jesus, Knows That It Is Not Too Late For You! You can have eternal life. Jesus has silenced the voice of death. This amazing, miraculous, soul saturating love will heal the deepest part of you. Fully Face Jesus, give Him your heart today.
Isaiah 53: Who has believed, trusted in, relied upon, and clung to our message of that which was revealed to us? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been disclosed? For the Servant of God grew up before Him like a tender plant, and like a root out of dry ground; He has no form or comeliness, royal, kingly pomp, that we should look at Him, and no beauty that we should desire Him. He was despised and rejected and forsaken by men, a Man of sorrows and pains, and acquainted with grief and sickness; and like One from Whom men hide their faces He was despised, and we did not appreciate His worth or have any esteem for Him. Surely He has borne our griefs sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses and carried our sorrows and pains of punishment, yet we ignorantly considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God as if with leprosy. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement needful to obtain, peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes, that wounded Him we are healed and made whole.
Selah! Think On God’s Cup Of Suffering Today On This Day Of Beautiful Agony On This GOOD Friday!
When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. Colossians 2:13-15
Life Is A Beautiful Agony As Jesus’ Life Purposefully Was! His Passion Is An Undeserved Cross, Suffering That Should Have Been Ours.
