I hope for us goodness, joy, love and peace on this day. God bless you much today. Enjoy the beauty all around you, as this new season of spring begins to bud and bloom, take in the beauteous sights. No matter the situations you find yourself in today, on this day you can know joy, love and peace as you take the time to experience the beautiful things of our world.
God Is Trustworthy
God is with us now; His strength is with us and in us on this day. We have a Healer, and an Advocate growing us through weakness, sickness, brokenness and hard times. He lifts us up on His Shoulders, our Shepherd King and our help is from Him, it is good, perfect and restoring. He is right here, right now with us, our Rescuer. He is trustworthy and good and a great Navigator. When we have too much on our plate and we exhaust ourselves, this is not from God, this is us, not being able to say no and having motives that are not pure. Let be, and let God navigate your life. He is trustworthy.
Psalm 46: 1 God, you’re such a safe and powerful place to find refuge! You’re a proven help in time of trouble— more than enough and always available whenever I need you. 2 So we will never fear even if every structure of support 46:2 Or “earth itself.” were to crumble away. We will not fear even when the earth quakes and shakes, moving mountains and casting them into the sea. 3 For the raging roar of stormy winds and crashing waves cannot erode our faith in you. Pause in his presence
Strengthen Your Inner Spiritual Core
For some of us we do live at the “speed of light” so busy, lives so full that we live on the ledge of exhaustion ready to fall off. We lose our joy because we are so distracted by all the things we have to do. Stop. Spend some time with God, let Him soul saturate you with His Joy because it is God’s JOY that is the strength of our inner spiritual core. When we get off the frenzy highway and stop look up into God’s Face, we see everything we have taken for granted and the gratefulness, joy and AWE of God begins to flow in us, and through us, as we realize just how much God has been with us and how amazing He is at navigating our lives. Way-Maker God!
Sadly So, We Hurt Each Other
We have way too much on our plate. Busy, Busy, Busy People! The backlash of people who are so busy is that they are physically and mentally exhausted, there is no joy in their lives and their strength is will powered until it flames out. The consequence of this kind of full out, exhausting joyless existence, is one that other people bear the consequential brunt of. Human lack from having too much on our plate, hurts people in our lives, making them feel ignored, shunned, cancelled, not worthy, dehumanized, invisible, devalued, not good enough for someone to say hello to them, to even acknowledge them. You see someone and they see you and they walk right past you like they didn’t see you, because they don’t have the time to stop and acknowledge you, so they make eye contact and then look always like they never even saw you. This rejection hurts. Sadly so, we do this to each other, I know I have been there and done that, been so busy, so distracted, that I am not even present with those I am present with. We don’t answer texts, or phone calls, we can be in a room with people and not even acknowledge them because our minds are so full because our life-plate is way over full. Self-interests, personal causes and lots of pursuits leave us without time, strength or energy to make other people feel valued. We need to change this up, become people with less on our plate and love others better, add value to others, help them be visible, help them to matter. How? Restore our joy, which changes everything up in our life. When we have a full life plate, we need to learn to say no, and say it more often. It is wise to be less busy, because we will be more alert to the needs of those around us. Let’s choose JOY because the strength of this joy always adds value to other people’s lives. Joy, keeps us grateful and thankful and helps us to be really alert, good, kind human beings, led by God, people who add value to other people. Choose Joy. Let it move you to be more Christ like.
Philippians 2:3-4 Be free from pride-filled opinions, for they will only harm your cherished unity. Don’t allow self-promotion to hide in your hearts, but in authentic humility put others first and view others as more important than yourselves. 4 Abandon every display of selfishness. Possess a greater concern for what matters to others instead of your own interests. 5 And consider the example that Jesus, the Anointed One, has set before us. Let his mindset become your motivation. The Example of Jesus Christ He existed in the form of God, yet he gave no thought to seizing equality with God as his supreme prize. 7 Instead he emptied himself of his outward glory by reducing himself to the form of a lowly servant. He became human! 8 He humbled himself and became vulnerable, choosing to be revealed as a man and was obedient. He was a perfect example, even in his death—a criminal’s death by crucifixion! 9 Because of that obedience, God exalted him and multiplied his greatness! He has now been given the greatest of all names!
