The arrogant in their elitist pride persecute the poor and helpless. May you pour out upon them the very evil they’ve dreamed up against others! Psalm 10:2
Adjust Your Armor
I can’t say enough how important it is to stop and munch some scripture during the day, or have some connection time with God’s Holy Spirit at the Mid Day break. Sometimes by mid day we are so exhausted from the prideful, arrogant people we have been around, some we don’t know, some we work with, some we live with, pride and arrogance is hard to be around all the time, it grates on our soul as people serve no power higher than self.
The Human Condition
As a person blows the car horn at us because we don’t move fast enough from a red light, to the people who we interact with during the day who are just plain old bad people, whose intentions are in play in mean spirited ways. So that makes us around the Mid day hour just plain old fed up with the human condition of those who have been around us, or it could even be ourselves, we may be making ourselves sick by the attitudinal reactions we have had to others who we have tried, but just have not been able to forebear with.
Wholly-Holy Align With God’s Word
Mid day is a good time to adjust the Armor Of God and wholly-holy align ourselves with God’s Words of Truth and dependence on His Holy Spirit. It is great to take out the Word of God and to read how God rolls, to be encouraged by the Word that God is able to control all, He has not abdicated His authority, and is able to take care of anyone and any situation that we find ourselves in; just as He is very capable of changing our heart attitude too. The wicked one in the pride of his countenance will not seek, inquire for, and yearn for God; all his thoughts are that there is no God [so He never punishes]. Arise, O Lord! O God, lift up Your hand; forget not the humble [patient and crushed]. Break the arm of the wicked man; and as for the evil man, search out his wickedness until You find no more. Psalm 10:4, 12, 15 AMPC
This Is God’s Battle
It seems like evil and the wicked people being used for evil intentions have taken over all of our common sense and are pushing fake reality in our face every single day. They have no accountability, responsibility to anyone, and serve no power higher than self. This makes for a difficult time, because our culture is corrupting. Our compassion is fatigued, our hearts are heavy, yet we know this is God’s battle, we know He has a good endgame, so we patiently endure, wholly-holy trusting Him. A Mid Day Manna Munch is just what we need to reinforce our patient endurance and remember this is God’s Battle.
Patiently Endure ~ Finish Well
We do wait with joyful anticipation for the day when wickedness is no more. God will not forget us as we patiently endure each day in faith. It may feel like our soul will be crushed under the weight of the consequences of sin, but God will not give us more than we can bear. No one sins alone, everyone feels the consequences of other people’s sins. In a difficult situation, when it is not a situation of your making, but the consequences of another person’s sin, patient endurance can’t be mustered up, it can’t be will-powered, it has to come out of our connection with Jesus, Who totally understands what we are feeling. He went before us, He carried the sins of the whole world on His shoulders. He knows. Talk to God.
They crush the lowly as they fall beneath their brutal blows, watching their victims collapse in defeat! Then they say to themselves, “The Lofty One is not watching while we do this. He doesn’t even care! We can get away with it!” The Lord is Concerned ~ Now arise, Yahweh-God! Crush them once and for all! Don’t forget the helpless and oppressed. How dare the wicked think they’ll reject God and escape judgment. They say to themselves,“God won’t hold me accountable.” Lord, I know you see all that they’re doing, noting their each and every deed. You know the trouble and turmoil they’ve caused. Now punish them thoroughly for all that they’ve done! The poor and helpless ones trust in you, Lord, for you are famous for being the helper of the fatherless. Psalm 10
Remind Yourself
Sometimes that is all we need, to remind ourselves that God sees us, God knows. It is good to fight the fight of faith by declaring the truth that wickedness will be called into account by God. It is good to pray the Word of God, asking God to arise in our situation where our culture has been corrupted by evil. It is good to take that “Mid Day Manna Munch” and pray to our God. What is right is lifted up as being wrong, and what is wrong is lifted up as being right. This hypocrisy and lawlessness is hard to have in our face all the time. So we pray, asking God to arise with His truth to expose and expunge evil deceptions and give us the strength to endure in this chaotic culture of corrupted souls. Pray It Up
Whether it be Mid-day or any part of your day, prayer is always a good choice. 🙏We pray God for Your deliverance from the plans and intentions of evil people, and the soul renewal of Your hope that strengthens our spirit for the troubled times in our corrupted culture. With all the chaos that is at hand, we speak Shalom, disrupt this chaos with Your peace, Jesus, Prince Of Peace! It is good to know God will hear and God will make a way for justice when everything seems to be unjust. When our spirit is weighed down with the burden of injustice, it is God Who helps us grow through the day and end well in faith, hope, and peace, as we depend upon God. Yes, It is good to take a Mid Day Manna Munch! It is good to stay in God’s Presence all day long, munching on His Word.
O Lord, You have heard the desire and the longing of the humble and oppressed; You will prepare and strengthen and direct their hearts, You will cause Your ear to hear, To do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed, so that man, who is of the earth, may not terrify them any more. Psalm 10:17-18 AMPC
