Open Your Heart

Truth And Light – God Fills Us

It is true that we sometimes sound doubtful as we are asking God: Why have you allowed this to happen in my life? Why aren’t you answering my prayer? Why won’t you stop this cruelty? Do you care about my broken heart? Yes we do ask foolish questions at times, and God reminds us of the answers we already have, as He has already answered us through His Word. Listen To This Verse:

Our faith guarantees us permanent access into this marvelous kindness that has given us a perfect relationship with God. What incredible joy bursts forth within us as we keep on celebrating our hope of experiencing God’s glory! But that’s not all! Even in times of trouble we have a joyful confidence, knowing that our pressures will develop in us patient endurance. And patient endurance will refine our character, and proven character leads us back to hope. And this hope is not a disappointing fantasy, because we can now experience the endless love of God cascading into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who lives in us! Romans 5:2-5 TPT

Daily Life ~ Mundane ~ Everyday Living

It’s living with people every day in your family life, and in your neighborhood, and in your community, that will challenge us to walk justly, humbly, with our God. This is why I realize how much I can’t let my vital-vertical relationship with God, that personal heart-to-heart relationship with Him, drift (Hebrews 2:1-3) away little by little… through the mundane daily routines of my busy life, because I need Him in my life, I need Him to sit with me. I need God to speak to me. I need Him to direct (Psalm 32:8) me so I don’t become snared by the enemy of my soul. Who are we chasing? Let’s make sure it is God. Listen up to this 1 Minute Encouragement Video From Our Rumble Channel: Who Are You Chasing?

Psalm 3:3 But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.

God Maintains My Life

I need to realize that God is with me (1 John 5:20) in all things and just breathe Him in as those chaotic moments suddenly happen. It is really not a good choice for me to try to press through on my own in my (Psalm 73:26) own strength, but just breathe in God’s Presence, and realize that His strength is available to me, that He is maintaining (Isaiah 41:10) my strength in my today from every moment to every choice I make on this day.

Avoiding The Snares

My soul must be “truthed in” by partaking in the Word of God on this day, and every day. Letting God’s truth permeate my spirit, acknowledging and recognizing that facing the “flesh out” eruptions of the human condition in me, in my family, in my neighborhood, in my church, and in my country, that I am not facing them alone, (Isaiah 40:31) God stands with me, and at times He stands in front of me to block the enemy from me. God is my protector. He is my guide, Who is keeping me from the snares set by my soul enemy. God is my all in my everything!

Proverbs 21:30-31 No wisdom, no understanding, no counsel can avail against the Lord. The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord.

Running On Full

Yes, I need to be living consciously of God’s amazing presence in my day, even narrowed down to living a lifestyle which is including Him from every moment, to every choice. Am I too busy to be found with God, chasing after Him? My life plate is full. Did I put all this on my plate? Am I running on empty because I am not inviting His Presence into my whole day? Then this is not a good thing, this compartmentalizing of my life. God is here, but I don’t need Him there. We need to decompartmentalize NOW, and open our heart wide to God, let Him know we need Him always, and He is welcome in the all of our life, even in the scheduling of our calendars. Yes, nothing should be on our plate this week that God has not put there.

I am your only God, the living God. Wasn’t I the one who broke the strongholds over you and raised you up out of bondage? Open your mouth with a mighty decree; I will fulfill it now, you’ll see! The words that you speak, so shall it be! But my people still wouldn’t listen; my princely people would not yield to me. So I lifted my grace from off of their lives, and I surrendered them to the stubbornness of their hearts. For they were living according to their own selfish fantasies. O that my people would once and for all listen to me and walk faithfully in my footsteps, following my ways. Then and only then will I conquer your every foe and tell every one of them, ‘You must go! Psalms 81:10-14

No Man Made Fires

Think on this: Am I just a Christian on Sunday who is going to church to be fed on Sundays, but the rest of the week, I’m doing my own thing, in my own strength, by my way of choice. During the week, if I am in complete self-dependence, then, I am kindling my own fire (Isaiah 50:10-11) and walking by the light of a man-made fire that will flame out, and leave me in the dark with ashes flying everywhere. Not good. Good is depending on God, to light up everything in our life with a fire that comes down from heaven, with a continuous light and power source that does not flame out. This is good, and not just good, it is great!

Wherever I go, your hand will guide me; your strength will empower me. It’s impossible to disappear from you or to ask the darkness to hide me, for your presence is everywhere, bringing light into my night. Psalms 139:10-11

Aware Of God’s Presence

My spiritual eyes need to be enlightened every day to who I am, (Psalm: 139:1-18) and who He is in me. I need to know the truth that will set me free from all the snares waiting for me, and I do not need to focus on the negative, but I need to focus on Jesus and how wonderful it is to be His. I know that Jesus has called me, and I know that I cannot do it on my own, that He is my strength. Almighty God is the Dunamis strength of my every day walking, living, working, loving and learning. I am aware of God’s Presence in me, the joy of it, as much as I am aware of my need for His strength in my life throughout this day.

So roll up your sleeves, get your head in the game, be totally ready to receive the gift that’s coming when Jesus arrives. Don’t lazily slip back into those old grooves of evil, doing just what you feel like doing. You didn’t know any better then; you do now. As obedient children, let yourselves be pulled into a way of life shaped by God’s life, a life energetic and blazing with holiness. God said, “I am holy; you be holy.” You call out to God for help and he helps—he’s a good Father that way. But don’t forget, he’s also a responsible Father, and won’t let you get by with sloppy living. Your life is a journey you must travel with a deep consciousness of God. It cost God plenty to get you out of that dead-end, empty-headed life you grew up in. He paid with Christ’s sacred blood, you know. He died like an unblemished, sacrificial lamb. And this was no afterthought. Even though it has only lately—at the end of the ages—become public knowledge, God always knew he was going to do this for you. It’s because of this sacrificed Messiah, whom God then raised from the dead and glorified, that you trust God, that you know you have a future in God. 1 Peter 1:13-21 MSG
