Stumble? When it comes to our worldly view-point, do we tend to react to here and now and not respond to God, not stretch our earthly tent pegs into a Kingdom Perspective? KimberlyMac
Jesus Is Anointed for His Death and Burial Now Jesus was in Bethany, in the home of Simon, a man Jesus had healed of leprosy. And as he was reclining at the table, a woman came into the house, holding an alabaster flask. It was filled with the highest quality of fragrant and expensive oil. She walked right up to Jesus, and with a gesture of extreme devotion, she broke the flask and poured out the precious oil over his head. But some were highly indignant when they saw this, and they complained to one another, saying, “What a total waste! It could have been sold for a great sum,[f] and the money could have benefited the poor.” So they scolded her harshly. The Passion Translation Mark 14;3-5
Worldly Viewpoints
It was all about the “worldly viewpoint” for most of them, but for ONE it was about the Kingdom Perspective, a God purpose put into play. It is hard to stay positioned in God’s Purposes so they flow through our lives. We stumble when it comes to here and now, what we see, what is happening today. We tend to choose here and now and not stretch our tent pegs into a Kingdom Perspective.
The Plot to Kill Jesus~ Two days before the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread,[a] the leading priests and religious scholars were committed to finding a way to secretly arrest Jesus and have him executed. 2 But they all agreed that their plot could not succeed if they carried it out during the days of the feast, for they said, “There could be a riot among the people.” Mark 14:14 The Passion Translation
Fleshing Out
Mankind has not changed much. When they want a certain outcome, they will plot, connive and try to come up with a plan to convict an innocent man because they did not like him, he made them uncomfortable, and he did not stick with their ways and changed up their traditions. They wanted to kill him, basically because he threatened their status quo. They tried and tried to devise and make up a crime that would stick to an innocent man, but with every attempt they failed. God had a plan they could not thwart.
Deny Accuse
Jesus was innocent, they were the ones who were guilty. This is the enemies sickening tactic of deny-accuse. Try to create a crime to charge an innocent man with, especially if it is a crime you are doing. You deny your humanity, your sinfulness, your sin and you accuse an innocent person of it. This is the worst of humanity, the fleshing out of all kinds of evil, where you create a crime and tailor it to fit a person you want to hurt and then clothe them in it through false narrative.
False Narrative
If you open your eyes wide to God’s Kingdom Perspective, you will see the enemy at work in times such as these, spinning up false narratives with sticky traps of fake reality which evoke the worst of humanity, people hurting people with the falsity of deny-accuse as they create a fake reality, a blinder to the reality of truth.
Fake Reality
We hear, we react critically and we flesh out condemnation. People who are innocent, we crucify them with words and actions against them, because we know no truth higher than ourselves, we only see from the surface of our living our of a fake reality, fed by false narrative from our enemy and we never connect with the Kingdom perspective of God’s heart, the unseen reality of truth.
Change It UP
We must change it up, shatter the power of this fake reality through prayer. God is calling intercessors to pray it up, for the fake news and false narrative of our time to be deafened, the darkness of deceit to be defeated as it is shattered by the bright light of Kingdom Revelation.
Heart2Heart
Today, connect with God Heart2Heart and pray for people’s worldly viewpoint to be disrupted and replaced by a Kingdom Perspective. Let it be so, Lord Jesus. Thwart the plots, plans and devices of our enemy, let truth supremely reign in our nations. In Jesus Name. Amen.
