“First, The Holy Spirit is God’s divine channel for releasing His power on the earth. Second, when God’s power is released into any situation, no power on earth can stand against it. Third, as we depend upon the Holy Spirit, we will discover that God’s power is available to us in every situation. God never asks us to face our problems alone. Through the Holy Spirit, we have access to the greatest power source in the universe. The power we need is ours for the asking.” Written by Ray Pritchard
Empowered
We grow through many trials. Our flesh is weak. Our human condition can’t be trusted. But God in us, He is powerful, trustworthy and faithful. We look to Him, we live in His love, a perfect love that forces out fear. Jesus, we stand in Awe of You, the strength of our lives, the glory of God, our powerful Savior. Jesus, we praise Your name, we call upon Your name in hope, knowing, without a doubt, Your Name has power to save, deliver and heal us. We ask You, Jesus to send forth Your power upon this earth, saving power, open the eyes of the blind, may they see You, open their ears to Your Truth. Change things up, change us, Jesus, by Your transforming power. Resurrection power, the transformation that happened at the cross, where You, Jesus, died for us. This power of Your Resurrection is the greatest transformation ever known to mankind, from death to life. Let it be so Jesus in our every dead end, power it up with Your life-giving power. Awe-GOD. I pray we will know the strength and joy of being empowered by God.
Three times I pleaded with the Lord to relieve me of this. But he answered me, “My grace is always more than enough for you,[a] and my power finds its full expression through your weakness.” So I will celebrate my weaknesses, for when I’m weak I sense more deeply the mighty power of Christ living in me. 2 Corinthians 12:8-9 The Passion Translation
The power of Christ rests upon me like a tent or tabernacle” (providing me shelter). Footnote TPT 2 Corinthians 12:8-9
Change It Up
We have a human condition that wants to go its own way. We wrongly think we can control our lives, make a better way for ourselves. It never quite works out that way, better is something that can’t happen when we know no power higher than self. We can’t force a permanent transformation; we can only make a temporary change. Why? Because of our inability to control our selfish, self-centered human nature, this temporary fix will fizzle out into failure as our human condition can only mirror ourselves. We can’t lie, deceive, manipulate or control our lives and think we will “grow through” unscathed. Lies always have a go around-come around back bite lash out, this is the way of our enemy; he is not for us like God is. So, the best way is truth, and dependence on God, simply-significantly so. We must submit ourselves to the Rulership of God’s Love. God’s Authority is the only power that can affect true, genuine, heart-felt transformation which can last from here to there unto forever.
I will walk the blind by an unknown way and guide them on paths they’ve never traveled. I will smooth their difficult road and make their dark mysteries bright with light. These are things I will do for them, for I will never abandon my beloved ones. But those who trust in idols, who say to their metal images, “You are our gods,” will be turned aside in total disgrace. Blind and Deaf to Truth~ Hear me, you deaf! Look up, you blind, and see! Isaiah 42:16-18 TPT
