But now, because of Jesus the Anointed and His sacrifice, all of that has changed. God gathered you who were so far away and brought you near to Him by the royal blood of the Anointed, our Liberating King. He is the embodiment of our peace, sent once and for all to take down the great barrier of hatred and hostility that has divided us so that we can be one. Ephesians 2:13-18 The Voice
Position Yourself In Peace
Peace begins and ends with Jesus, at the mention of His Name. He is our sustainable and forever peace. There is no place His peace can’t reach, no heart He can’t still. Cry out to Jesus and he will hear your prayer. Position yourself in His peace with a posture of praise, being grateful, so very thankful that this peace surpasses everything in this world that is stirred up by anger, violence, doubt, fear, anxiety, none of these devilish tactics can hold up against the powerful peace of Jesus.
I have told you these things so that you will be whole and at peace. In this world, you will be plagued with times of trouble, but you need not fear; I have triumphed over this corrupt world order. John 16:33 The Voice
A Fragile Platform
The enemy cannot steal your peace. Jesus is with you, Jesus is for you. The only way the enemy gets your peace is you give it to him, you surrender it through your unbelief, fear, anxiety, trying to fix things that you have no business fixing, trying to make a way that is outside of God’s way for you. Trying, trying, trying, in your human strength and might, this steals your peace. Standing on the fragile platform of human strength, a fleeting undergirding that does not have the power to hold you up, it is temporary in nature, this is a peace stealer. Jesus does not forfeit or betray you, we choose with our own free will to step outside of His peace. We discard our peace, and God waits to saturate us with it again when we surrender our will to Him.
You will keep the peace, a perfect peace, for all who trust in You, for those who dedicate their hearts and minds to You. Isaiah 26:3 The Voice
Storm Tossed Soul
When we open our conflicted, stormed tossed soul to Jesus, He comes in like a flood of peace, raising a standard of right where our flesh has erected all that is wrong for us, and then Jesus ushers in the peace that surpasses all human understanding, miraculously so. Jesus will make His way through our fear, pushing through our anxieties, He comes to us, He holds us, He stills our storm tossed soul and undergirds our weakness in His strength.
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 New Living Translation
Hope Pierces Darkness
Only in the Light of Jesus, will we find rest. Look to Him, fully face Him, let Your eyes meet His, heart to Heart and spirit to Spirit, God’s peace will envelop you with hope like no other, hope that pierces the darkness of your soul and you will know His peace, you will find His grace can support you in that special way that only He can provide.
Peace I leave with you; My own peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled. John 14:27-31 Amplified Bible
Peace Be Still
Be still and know that I AM God, My peace meets you in the middle of this storm. I hear your prayer. I will answer. I AM the solution. Peace to your storm battered soul. Peace, be still. I AM God and I heard your prayer.
