“No matter what military life brings our way, God is still in control. We can be a peace knowing that nothing is hidden from Him. He has understanding that we cannot fathom, which gives us permission to not have the answers for everything. We can release our control and accept His peace.” Author ~ Jocelyn Green
The God Purposes In The Challenge Are Greater Than Challenge Faced
In many of our life seasons, we as a military family, face many changes and challenges where we can’t see the whole picture. We hurry up and do our part and then it seems we are waiting forever for the rest of the puzzle to be put together. During that waiting time, this transitional time for our family, there can be so much anxiety if we try to figure things out. We can spend hours overthinking our rationalized outcomes, only to realize a completely different reality in the end. It is better to stand on the promises of God at the get go.
It Is Truly Not As Hard As It Seems
Nothing is as it seems and nothing assumed can ever be close to being truth. Assumption during our transitional times is a huge mind enemy and it drains our soul and all kinds of things come into a door cracked open by assumptions. Fear, anxiety, impulsiveness, lies and an insatiable restlessness are just a few things that like to barge in uninvited when we open the door to assumptions. It is so important during our transitional times where the challenge is high in our family life that we stand courageously and firmly on a foundation of God truth.
Think Only In The Light Of God Truth
Don’t think it if it isn’t the fullness of truth. Truth stirs up our emotions with courage, steadfastness, boldness, hope and many other really good attitudes that feed our actions with undergirding that will hold us, will anchor us through every challenge. When we walk with truth, taking captive every assumptive presupposition, we will clearly see that with every challenge our military family is facing, no matter how great the challenge, the God purpose in the challenge is greater. God purposes to work everything out for Kingdom good in our military family. Every challenge will flip-flop into a victory of God’s strength, might and grace. No doubt about it.
Run The Race Without Doubt – Run To Win
Truth is an incredible precursor to a victorious military family, who can run the race of faith without doubt, whose strength is tested and always holds up and whose will bends to the breaking point without violating the spirit of the family. The best part about “growing through” everything we do in our uniquely designed military family life is that God knows everything. God knows! Listen and be encouraged today:

Strength To The Weary
Why do you say, O Jacob, and assert, O Israel, “My way is hidden from the LORD, and the justice due me escapes the notice of my God”? Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable. He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power. Though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, Yet those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary. Isaiah 40:27-28 NASB ©1995
Powered By God
The weapons of the war we’re fighting are not of this world but are powered by God and effective at tearing down the strongholds erected against His truth. We are demolishing arguments and ideas, every high-and-mighty philosophy that pits itself against the knowledge of the one true God. We are taking prisoners of every thought, every emotion, and subduing them into obedience to the Anointed One. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 The Voice
Hidden God Treasures
I will give you hidden treasures and wealth tucked away in secret places; I will reveal them to you. Then you will know that I am the Eternal, the God of Israel, who calls you by name. Isaiah 45:3 The Voice
Healthy In God
No prolonged infancies among us, please. We’ll not tolerate babes in the woods, small children who are an easy mark for impostors. God wants us to grow up, to know the whole truth and tell it in love—like Christ in everything. We take our lead from Christ, who is the source of everything we do. He keeps us in step with each other. His very breath and blood flow through us, nourishing us so that we will grow up healthy in God, robust in love. Ephesians 4:14-16 Message Bible
God See’s And Clearly Knows
For now we are looking in a mirror that gives only a dim, blurred reflection of reality as in a riddle or enigma, but then when perfection comes, we shall see in reality and face to face! Now I know in part, imperfectly, but then I shall know and understand fully and clearly, even in the same manner as I have been fully and clearly known and understood by God. 1 Corinthians 13:12 Amplified Bible
In Your Military Family Life, Run With Excellence, Run To Win
I’ve been broken, lost, depressed, oppressed, and weak that I might find favor and gain the weak. I’m flexible, adaptable, and able to do and be whatever is needed for all kinds of people so that in the end I can use every means at my disposal to offer them salvation. I do it all for the gospel and for the hope that I may participate with everyone who is blessed by the proclamation of the good news. We all know that when there’s a race, all the runners bolt for the finish line, but only one will take the prize. When you run, run for the prize! Athletes in training are very strict with themselves, exercising self-control over desires, and for what? For a wreath that soon withers or is crushed or simply forgotten. That is not our race. We run for the crown that we will wear for eternity. 1 Corinthians 9:22-24 The Voice
Military Families Have A Forever Hope Anchor
So God has given us two unchanging things: His promise and His oath. These prove that it is impossible for God to lie. As a result, we who come to God for refuge might be encouraged to seize that hope that is set before us. 19 That hope is real and true, an anchor to steady our restless souls, a hope that leads us back behind the curtain to where God is (as the high priests did in the days when reconciliation flowed from sacrifices in the temple) 20 and back into the place where Jesus, who went ahead on our behalf, has entered since He has become a High Priest forever in the order of Melchizedek. Hebrews 6:18-20 The Voice
Live It Out Among Your Military Community Life
“Live in the world as if only God and your soul were in it; then your heart will never be made captive by any earthly thing.”
Quote By ~ John of the Cross
Think About It – This Good Thought
Israel had suffered inexile so long that there were many who thought that their case had escaped God’s eye, and that their “judgment” (i.e. their cause) had passed beyond His notice: the prophet replies, Jehovah is no local, limited God, as you imagine; His power embraces Babylon not less than Palestine; His strength is not exhausted; “there is no searching of His understanding” — some inscrutable purpose must guide Him in delaying, if He do delay, the redemption of His people; only continue to trust!
