A Time Such As This- Revive Faith
This is a great time, a time such as this to resist fear and revive faith in our mind. We spend a great deal of our lives focused on the things we fear. We think them up, we let thoughts of fear run throughout the corridors of our minds. None of these thoughts are true or our reality of truth. Most of them are presumptions that the enemy of our soul loves to torture us with. Our mind thoughts often start with this question: What if ? Then your mind takes that question and distorts it applying every fear imaginable, oh yes, we have quite the imagination and we should not use it for fear.
Philippians 4:6-9 Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ.[a] 8 So keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising him always. The Passion Translation
Dig In Deeper With God’s Word
Let’s dig deeper in this need to change it up to faith in our mind. Here is an excerpt from the book: The Bridegroom’s Voice. This will definitely show us the heart of God for us having a mind self-controlled and God focused.
“The Bride asks, “I know I have not completely trusted You in my all and everything. It is not that I doubt you, but sometimes I don’t understand Your ways and I question them. There are many times when I feel abandoned and very alone. Today I feel like a withered rose that has been scorched by hot winds”
“The Bridegroom Speaks: My Bride, I speak the truth today to counter the lies you have chosen to listen to in exchange for the truth I gave you. I say to you: I will never abandon you! I have not forgotten you, I never will. I have never betrayed you! I never will. I have always been with you. The issue at hand today is one of your own making and changes need to made in your stinky thoughts, because out of them flow the issues of your life. Where is your faith in Me? I love you with an infinite, unchanging devotion and this is the truth you need to cling to today.” Excerpts From The Bridegroom’s Voice ~ Author Kimberly McCarthy
Renew Faith – Revive Faith – Pray It UP
I pray for all of us that on this day we will choose to be people who resist fear and add the value of faith to all those around us. I hope for us to make every divine appointment God has set up for us and add the value of faith to all the people we encourage today. Jesus, help us to learn faith, to increase our faith, in our daily heart to heart relationship with You. We choose to cling to You and dig our life roots deeply in You. We hope to put our identity wholly-holy in You and give You total access to our mind. Help us to resist fear and revive faith in our personal relationship with You, in our relationships with our family, neighbors, church, community, state and nations. We hope Lord Jesus to make our vital-vertical relationship with You, personal, in our life relationships. We renounce religiosity and hope to give our lives to You in that way we are aware of other people and become Your reflection in their face of a faith to faith living, loving and learning. Together with You, we are better people, help us never drift away from You on a sea of fear.
“One of the marks of a society that has drifted away from God is fear. We fear the violence around us. We fear uncertainty and financial upheaval. We fear the loss of values and standards of righteousness. We seem to fear everything except God! Those who are giving themselves to pray for revival will find that fear is gradually being replaced by faith. Revivalists are people filled with encouragement. “Hold on…He’s coming to strengthen you,” are words they will share with those who have become discouraged in their journeys with God. They are people who are acutely aware that God does not want His people to live in fear, but in the courage that comes from His presence.” David Butts
No Dread – Exchanged For Faith
Most of the things that we dread are driven from lies in our mind thoughts which we overthink, making them feel real and setting up strong holds of doubt in our soul. These fearful thoughts are not real, they are not our reality of truth and we waste time on them, squandering our mind, soul saturating our spirit in fear. We have to change up our “day dreams” with truth. We need to create a new spiritual habit for our mind, which listens up to God first, casting out the lies and exchanging them for God’s Truth. Assumption, presumption, speculation, and rationalization should never be given priority, these are the lies of our enemy. God’s Truth should be our first mind-set and should be continually lifted higher than any other thoughts. Listen Up! It is good to stay in a constant conversation, heart to heart with God, letting His thoughts be your thoughts and His mind, your mind-sets.
Sovereign Will ~ Infinite Love = Hand In Hand
Surrender to God today all your fears, all your expectations (Psalm 62) all those things that cause your mind to fret. Let go and let God work out His Will in your salvation on this day. We must yield our mind wholly-holy to His Infinite Love. If His Sovereign Will in play in our life seems hard to swallow, we know this: His Infinite Love and His Sovereign Will go hand in hand, one is not without the other. So, we cling to His Infinite Love when His Sovereign Will is challenging our flesh. The truth is God’s purposes are in play in our life, and the challenges we face right now, His God purpose in the present challenge, is greater than the challenge itself. We can rejoice in God’s Sovereign Will, even though it may be a tough go for us now. We know the truth that the God purpose in play in our life will work out to be best for us, better than we could ever hope for or imagine. We cling to God, we dig in our life roots deeply in Him, attaching our identity wholly-holy to His, because we know the truth, we have a good future and hope. (Jer. 29:11-12)
Proverbs 3:1-8 My child, if you truly want a long and satisfying life, never forget the things that I’ve taught you. Follow closely every truth that I’ve given you. Then you will have a full, rewarding life. 3 Hold on to loyal love and don’t let go, and be faithful to all that you’ve been taught. Let your life be shaped by integrity, with truth written upon your heart. 4 That’s how you will find favor and understanding with both God and men— you will gain the reputation of living life well. Wisdom’s Guidance~ 5 Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. 6 Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go. Don’t think for a moment that you know it all, for wisdom comes when you adore him with undivided devotion and avoid everything that’s wrong. 8 Then you will find the healing refreshment your body and spirit long for.
