He who has the bride is the Bridegroom; but the groomsman who stands by and listens to Him rejoices greatly and heartily on account of the Bridegroom’s Voice. This then is my pleasure and joy, and it is now complete. He must increase, but I must decrease.” John 3: 29-30 Amplified Bible
The Bride asks: “Jesus, each day my mind is filled with messages from radio, television, newspaper, billboards, twitter, facebook, e-mail, and other media in a world of too much information. When my day ends, sometimes I feel tossed around by so much disinformation, it confuses my mind. Some days, it steals my peace completely. How do I handle this age of T.M.I.? Too much information!

1 Corinthians 1:17-33 TPT For the Anointed One has sent me on a mission, not to see how many I could baptize, but to proclaim the good news. And I declare this message stripped of all philosophical arguments that empty the cross of its true power. For I trust in the all-sufficient cross of Christ alone. The True Power of the Cross~ 18 To preach the message of the cross seems like sheer nonsense to those who are on their way to destruction, but to us who are on our way to salvation, it is the mighty power of God released within us. 19 For it is written: I will dismantle the wisdom of the wise and I will invalidate the intelligence of the scholars. 20 So where is the wise philosopher who understands? Where is the expert scholar who comprehends? And where is the skilled debater of our time who could win a debate with God? Hasn’t God demonstrated that the wisdom of this world system is utter foolishness? 21 For in his wisdom, God designed that all the world’s wisdom would be insufficient to lead people to the discovery of himself. He took great delight in baffling the wisdom of the world by using the simplicity of preaching the story of the cross in order to save those who believe it. 22For the Jews constantly demand to see miraculous signs, while those who are not Jews constantly cling to the world’s wisdom, 23 but we preach the crucified Messiah. The Jews stumble over him and the rest of the world sees him as foolishness. 24 But for those who have been chosen to follow him, both Jews and Greeks, He is God’s mighty power, God’s true wisdom, and our Messiah. 25 For the “foolish” things of God have proven to be wiser than human wisdom. And the “feeble” things of God have proven to be far more powerful than any human ability. God’s Calling~ 26 Brothers and sisters, consider who you were when God called you to salvation. Not many of you were wise scholars by human standards, nor were many of you in positions of power. Not many of you were considered the elite when you answered God’s call. 27 But God chose those whom the world considers foolish to shame those who think they are wise, and God chose the puny and powerless to shame the high and mighty. 28He chose the lowly, the laughable in the world’s eyes—nobodies—so that He would shame the somebodies. For he chose what is regarded as insignificant in order to supersede what is regarded as prominent, 29so that there would be no place for prideful boasting in God’s presence. 30For it is not from man that we draw our life but from God as we are being joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. And now he is our God-given wisdom, our virtue, our holiness, and our redemption. 31And this fulfills what is written: If anyone boasts, let him only boast in all that the Lord has done!

The true power of the cross is Jesus Christ alone, in His Love. We human beings think we are so wise, we think we know it all and can manipulate to control it all. WRONG! We think we can handle supremacy that belongs to Jesus Christ alone. WRONG! We have absolutely corrupted human power and authority. This is what leads us to Jesus Christ, our inability to tame our human condition which lusts for power, authority and title over others and is completely deplorable. This havoc wreaked on us by human supremacy, this is the opposite of the peace God designed us to live in. This is disunity and discord beyond what our soul can bear or even measure is not our destiny. Jesus Christ, is our all-sufficient one, we need no other to lead us, He is our incorruptible Supremacy. We need to turn our eyes, mind and heart back to Jesus first. The sheer nonsense of human supremacy, we must discard it and reposition ourselves underneath the Rulership of God’s Love. This is where we will find lasting, true peace. The Infinite Love of God, pure, honest, true with motives that are for our good, not our demise. God’s peace is supported by His Love, which has never contained empty words. He says what He means and He means what He says. His Promise of peace, soul armistice, deep within our inner spiritual core, it is true and possible. There is nothing that can separate us from God’s Love, He is our Prince of Peace, He promises us peace and He keeps His Promise. Seek God – Find Peace. He has reconciled us to our Father God, this Jesus, our Redeemer, our Only Savior and this is the true power of the Cross, the sacrificial love of Jesus Christ, Prince of Peace.

Colossians 3:12-17 Since you are all set apart by God, made holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with a holy way of life: compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. 13 Put up with one another. Forgive. Pardon any offenses against one another, as the Lord has pardoned you, because you should act in kind. 14 But above all these, put on love! Love is the perfect tie to bind these together. 15 Let your hearts fall under the rule of the Anointed’s peace (the peace you were called to as one body), and be thankful.16 Let the word of the Anointed One richly inhabit your lives. With all wisdom teach, counsel, and instruct one another. Sing the psalms, compose hymns and songs inspired by the Spirit, and keep on singing—sing to God from hearts full and spilling over with thankfulness. 17 Surely, no matter what you are doing (speaking, writing, or working), do it all in the name of Jesus our Master, sending thanks through Him to God our Father.

When our world is in relational chaos with people punishing people out of illegitimate human authority, we seek Your Peace and You give us the best wisdom ever. The holy way of life is compassion, kindness, humility and gentleness and patience, these are the pathways to peace. Peace begins with pardon, giving amnesty like Jesus did. He came here to us while we were still sinners, gave His life to us. He did no wait until we were perfect because His love was not conditional. Peace is ushered in on the wings of a grateful, thankful heart. When I open my heart wide to God, He will inhabit my life with His peace that surpasses all understanding. We can position ourselves under the rulership of God’s banner of love and peace.

The peace we find in the utter chaos of human supremacy where human beings are conniving to kill, steal and destroy other human beings, this peace is ushered in when we forgive them and pray for them to be changed up to the image they were created in, to God’s character of love, compassion, common sense, civility, kindness, gentleness, patience and self-control. Jesus. Make it so in those who are under the rule of the enemy, change it up, transform them and position them underneath the rulership of Almighty God.
The craftiness of the media is to overload your senses and covertly maneuver into the centerpiece of your thinking. Your enemy has devised the perfect strategy of successfully jamming your mind with the disinformation of the world and deprive you of My communication of truth, discernment, and peace.

Psalm 64 O True God, hear my voice! Listen to my complaint! Guard my life; keep me safe from my enemy’s threats. 2 Hide me from the sinful circle that conspires against me, from the band of rebels out to make trouble,3 Who sharpen their tongues into swords, who take aim with poisonous words like arrows. 4 They hide in the shadows and shoot at the innocent; they shoot at them without warning and without any fear. 5 They persist in their evil purpose and plan in secret to lay their traps. And they say, “Who will see them?” 6 They plot their offense with precision and say, “Now we have the perfect crime.” The human heart and mind are deep and complex. 7 But without hesitation the True God will shoot at them; His arrow will surely wound them. 8 He will use their very own words to bring them to destruction; all who see will be appalled at what happens to them. 9 Then everyone will fear the True God; they will proclaim His deeds and will reflect upon all He has done. 10 The righteous will delight in the Eternal and will take shelter in Him. All those with an honest heart will glorify Him!

Our hearts break for those who are conspiring against others, stealing the peace and unity from our nations, rebels of God making trouble for God’s people. Our hearts break for them Jesus that they might know You. Give them a chance to be free from this deception that keeps them in bondage to chaos, keeps them sharpening their tongues with the enemy’s false narratives. Jesus save them. John 15:1-11 Jesus: I am the true vine, and My Father is the keeper of the vineyard. 2 My Father examines every branch in Me and cuts away those who do not bear fruit. He leaves those bearing fruit and carefully prunes them so that they will bear more fruit; 3 already you are clean because you have heard My voice. 4 Abide in Me, and I will abide in you. A branch cannot bear fruit if it is disconnected from the vine, and neither will you if you are not connected to Me. 5 I am the vine, and you are the branches. If you abide in Me and I in you, you will bear great fruit. Without Me, you will accomplish nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is like a branch that is tossed out and shrivels up and is later gathered to be tossed into the fire to burn. 7 If you abide in Me and My voice abides in you, anything you ask will come to pass for you. 8 Your abundant growth and your faithfulness as My followers will bring glory to the Father. At a time when all of His disciples are feeling as if they are about to be uprooted, Jesus sketches a picture of this new life as a flourishing vineyard—a labyrinth of vines and strong branches steeped in rich soil, abundant grapes hanging from their vines ripening in the sun. Jesus sculpts a new garden of Eden in their imaginations—one that is bustling with fruit, sustenance, and satisfying aromas. This is the Kingdom life. It is all about connection, sustenance, and beauty. But within this promise of life is the warning that people must be in Christ or they will not experience these blessings. Jesus: 9 I have loved you as the Father has loved Me. Abide in My love. 10 Follow My example in obeying the Father’s commandments and receiving His love. If you obey My commandments, you will stay in My love. 11 I want you to know the delight I experience, to find ultimate satisfaction, which is why I am telling you all of this. The Voice

It is so true that the way to keep my peace, to have a steady soul stabilized in God’s peace, I need to abide in Him. To me that means I have to keep it personal, my life, in vital-vertical relationship with Jesus. He needs to have total access to my life, all of it. No compartments that God is not allowed in. This is what I call an undivided heart, being wholly-holy aligned with God’s way, truth and life. This is the way of peace. And of course, right choices, keep me on the path of God’s peace. I know as I stay, abide and am found in a personal relationship with God, constant in conversation, that I can make the right choice the first time and I be stable in peace in all of my ways. I hope for this. I am not completely there yet. But I do love the challenge of God’s Voice abiding in me at all times. Staying in God’s love, this is the hard part because our human condition, it takes offense so easily. I need to guard my heart diligently, knowing the condition of it, being warned by my attitudes that I need to change things up, because my heart matters, out of it flows my life issues.
“The world’s voice proclaims loudly, “Look out for number one at all costs!” —especially as you are climbing the ladder of human success. Humanistic messages are deceptive; they trick you to believe you are invincible. These stealthy messages exchange My truth for white-lies and entice you to seize every opportunity and experience life to the fullest, without thought to anyone else but you. Beware not to be swindled to get all you can get without the responsible accountability that usually accompanies your free will.”

Pursuing all things me, it really disrupts my peace. It is so true that we are trained from the mediatic false frenzy of our time to look out for ourselves first. Trying to achieve success that the world offers, truly does knock us off the path of peace. It makes my life so harried when I have a pursuit outside of God’s will for me. It is exhausting to be independent from God and His help. We think we have to experience everything, every new thing. The enemy of our soul will keep us so busy trying to be in the know and experience new things all the time. Such a disposable world. We strive, we get, we move on so quickly to the next thing, we don’t even enjoy the celebration of success. It is sad how tricked we are. From one experience to the next new experience, we run and we lose responsible accountability to God and we drift from Him. Oh, the human condition, it needs so much self-control. These pursuits of the flesh, this is what steals our joy and our peace. Substitutes that do not really matter in this life, temporary in pleasure, exhausting in soul.

Psalm 29:1-11 Give all credit to the Eternal, O heavenly creatures; give praise to Him for His glory and power 2 Give to the Eternal the glory due His name; worship Him with lavish displays of sacred splendor.3 The voice of the Eternal echoes over the great waters; God’s magnificence roars like thunder. The Eternal’s presence hovers over all the waters. 4 His voice explodes in great power over the earth. His voice is both regal and grand. 5 The Eternal’s voice shatters the cedars; His power splinters the great cedars of Lebanon. 6 He speaks, and Lebanon leaps like a young calf; Sirion jumps like a wild, youthful ox 7 The voice of the Eternal cuts through with flames of fire. 8 The voice of the Eternal rumbles through the wilderness with great quakes; He causes Kadesh to tremble. 9 The Eternal’s voice brings life from the doe’s womb; His voice strips the forest bare, and all the people in the temple declare, “Glory!” 10 The Eternal I enthroned over the great flood; His reign is unending. 11 We ask You, Eternal One, to give strength to Your people; Eternal One, bless them with the gift of peace. We can get so caught up in over thinking, trying to find a way to do something on our own, to be independent of need of God and others. We rationalize that we can do it our way, take the broad road instead of the narrow road where God is leading us. We are not comfortable with the road less traveled, we want to go with what we know, followship of God is difficult because He leads us to new things and we don’t like change, we want things to remain the same, we want to be comfortable in our faith. Doing our own thing often leads us to a dead end where there is no peace of God and no harmony in our lives. Inner peace is found in that wholly-holy alignment with God where we say: Yes God, our Yes is on the table with You. You lead, we will follow and this is where our inner and outer lives come into harmony with God’s will, and peace ensues, peace that surpasses all understanding.

Hebrews 6:17-20 So in the same way, God wanted to end all doubt and confirm it even more forcefully to those who would inherit his promises. His purpose was unchangeable, so God added his vow to the promise. 18 So it is impossible for God to lie for we know that his promise and his vow will never change! And now we have run into his heart to hide ourselves in his faithfulness. This is where we find his strength and comfort, for he empowers us to seize what has already been established ahead of time—an unshakeable hope! 19 We have this certain hope like a strong, unbreakable anchor holding our souls to God himself. Our anchor of hope is fastened to the mercy seat which sits in the heavenly realm beyond the sacred threshold, 20 and where Jesus, our forerunner, has gone in before us. Romans 12:1-5 A Living Sacrifice 1Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Humble Service in the Body of Christ~3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. 4 For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. Peace can be an allusive thing not because of God, but because of our human condition. Our offerings to God of ourselves, of the gifts and talents He has given us, are they offered with a wholly-holy pure motive? This is true worship. Because of our human nature, our motives fluctuate between serving no power higher than ourselves and serving God. Therefore, our peace is an in and out thing, like the turning on and off of a light switch. In order to have a stable peace, one that doesn’t fluctuate, it begins with stabilizing our motives, learning to walk with pure motives at all times. Pride is a big peace block and also contributes to so many of our self-centered motives. Pride is one of the roots of bad motives, to bad attitudes to bad choices that put stumbling blocks up to the peace of God being able to soul saturate us. Listening up to God’s Word, hearing Him speak to us, this eradicates all things us and keeps us focused and on mission with Him. His. Word is so powerful and as we respond to it humbly, peace is ushered into our souls. Humility is such a key ingredient to our inner spiritual core being peace filled. Yet, the Word of God, which transforms us into being right in our choices, to walking in righteousness, this precious Bible that means so much to the stabilization of our souls, we never need to take it for granted or underestimate the power of God’s Word in our lives. Righteousness is the forerunner of the kiss of God’s peace on our soul.

The Bridegroom’s Voice Week Three Peace. Groomsman Journal: Our peace does not come from the empty words, the say-so of our culture, the temporary fixes that point the way to a shallow harmony of soul that is easily disrupted by the next big incoming cultural tide. Our peace comes from knowing the truth of God in our reality. The reality of truth lived out in our lives, constantly and consistently, this is when we know peace that surpasses all of our understanding, a stable, inner peace that fortifies our inner spiritual core with a strength like no other during these hectic, chaotic times. Eternal truth does not change with the cultural say-so tides of false narratives that come and disrupt and go leaving chaos on the shore of our soul.

2 Timothy 4:1-8 Paul’s Farewell Message~ Timothy, in the presence of our great God and our Lord Jesus Christ, the One who is destined to judge both the living and the dead by the revelation of his kingdom—I solemnly instruct you to 2 proclaim the Word of God and stand upon it no matter what! Rise to the occasion and preach when it is convenient and when it is not. Preach in the full expression of the Holy Spirit—with wisdom and patience as you instruct and teach the people. 3 For the time is coming when they will no longer listen and respond to the healing words of truth because they will become selfish and proud. They will seek out teachers with soothing words that line up with their desires, saying just what they want to hear. 4 They will close their ears to the truth and believe nothing but fables and myths. 5 So be alert to all these things and overcome every form of evil. Carry in your heart the passion of your calling as a church planter and evangelist, and fulfill your ministry calling. 6 And now the time is fast approaching for my release from this life and I am ready to be offered as a sacrifice. 7 I have fought an excellent fight. I have finished my full course and I’ve kept my heart full of faith. 8 There’s a crown of righteousness waiting in heaven for me, and I know that my Lord will reward me on his day of righteous judgment. Peace during the persecutions of life, those storms of life that steal, kill and destroy, peace is kept through the Word of God, living it, speaking it and standing firmly upon it. It is the Word that holds our peace captive in the wisdom of God, healing and strengthening Words that fill us with a patient endurance. Our vital-vertical relationship with God, it is with this powerful flow of God in us and out of us that we resist the enemy and embrace all things good, with a passion for sacrificial service for our God. We fight the fight of faith because of the peace in us, that is undergirded in strength by the Word of God. Even though the trials of our times, the persecutions and the evil that is formed against us, we can grow from faith to faith as we stay wholly-holy aligned, heart to heart with God and spirit to spirit with God’s Word. Our faith will increase, not decrease as we walk in the peace of God, full of faith, overcoming every evil aimed against us, watching God see to it that it doesn’t prosper. In Christ, we can do all things, even keep our peace amidst the storms of life.

And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. Philippians 2:3-11 The Example of Jesus Christ~Be free from pride-filled opinions, for they will only harm your cherished unity. Don’t allow self-promotion to hide in your hearts, but in authentic humility put others first and view others as more important than yourselves. 4 Abandon every display of selfishness. Possess a greater concern for what matters to others instead of your own interests. 5 And consider the example that Jesus, the Anointed One, has set before us. Let his mindset become your motivation.6 He existed in the form of God, yet he gave no thought to seizing equality with God as his supreme prize. 7 Instead he emptied himself of his outward glory by reducing himself to the form of a lowly servant. He became human! 8 He humbled himself and became vulnerable, choosing to be revealed as a man and was obedient. He was a perfect example, even in his death—a criminal’s death by crucifixion! 9 Because of that obedience, God exalted him and multiplied his greatness! He has now been given the greatest of all names! 10 The authority of the name of Jesus causes every knee to bow in reverence! Everything and everyone will one day submit to this name—in the heavenly realm, in the earthly realm, and in the demonic realm. 11 And every tongue will proclaim in every language: “Jesus Christ is Lord Yahweh,” bringing glory and honor to God, his Father!

When life becomes all about us meeting our needs, we will begin to serve no power higher than self. Ingratiating ourselves leans us right into hindrances and stumbling blocks to our faith. Pride is a big smasher of peace. There is no perseverance when there is not peace. So, at the root of peacelessness is selfishness that keeps us bowing to our personal wants as we serve ourselves first. Pride-filled opinions do not lean us into God’s Sovereign sway, but into selfishness, which does not create an atmosphere that obedience, submission and reverence to all things God, thrive in. Self-promotion is not the way of the lowly servant; whose peace is soul saturating and concern for others consistent. in the compassionate servant leadership of the humble.
