Waves Crashing On The Shores Of Our Nations
I feel like the waves of cultural chaos are crashing into our family life, our communities, our states and our nations. What can we do? What if the Wave-Maker is God? Interesting Thought! Could I be in a tug of war with God? Or am I in a tug of war with evil? Which One? Or Both? Am I trying to control God by fighting a fight that is not mine, hoping for an outcome that I can be comfortable with? The battle belongs to God and His ways are not our ways. He is at work in the unseen for our good and for the glory of His Kingdom. Maybe my next choice is to let go of the rope, since I don’t know what I think I know about this tug of war. The best choice for me is to let be, be still and know He is God. I am not in control, God is. Listen Up, Learn To Be A Wave Rider, A 1 Minute Encouragement Video:
One Nation Under God
It is beyond my understanding how a nation could be “One Nation Under God” knowing You, Your ways, truth and life and walk away like you were nothing to them. I can’t imagine that choice. But, then again, people don’t just walk away, they drift away from every moment to every bad choice, they drift away, not even noticing how far away they are from You, until they fall into the forever trap of the enemy of their soul.
So we must be more careful to follow what we were taught. Then we will not be pulled away from the truth. The teaching that God spoke through angels was shown to be true. And anyone who did not follow it or obey it received the punishment he earned. The salvation that was given to us is very great. So surely we also will be punished if we live as if this salvation were not important. It was the Lord himself who first told about this salvation. And those who heard him proved to us that this salvation is true. God also proved it by using wonders, great signs, and many kinds of miracles. And he proved it by giving people gifts through the Holy Spirit, just as he wanted. Hebrews 2:1-4
God With Us
You were with us throughout the life of our country. We heard of You, we experienced You in our lives, we chose You. Then we drifted away, and You tugged us back, we drifted away, and You pulled us back, over and over again, it was like a tug of war, in the light, out of the light, until our hands were raw and we dropped the rope. The game was over, we walked away, we did not follow after You, but You continued to pursue us. The storm is upon us, the darkness falls heavy in this night, we pray, we hope for the joy that comes with the new dawn of Jesus Christ, we hope for redemption, revival, renewal and restoration.
Lord, I put my hope in You, praying to You for deliverance from the enemy. There is nothing left to say except to pray, asking You to keep us from the enemy of our soul and bring us wholly-holy back to You, Your way, truth and life. Kimberly Mac
Goliath looked at David. He saw that David was only a boy, tanned and handsome. He looked down at David with disgust. He said, “Do you think I am a dog, that you come at me with a stick?” He used his gods’ names to curse David. He said to David, “Come here. I’ll feed your body to the birds of the air and the wild animals!” But David said to him, “You come to me using a sword, a large spear and a small spear. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of heaven’s armies. He’s the God of the armies of Israel! You have spoken out against him. Today the Lord will give you to me. I’ll kill you, and I’ll cut off your head. Today I’ll feed the bodies of the Philistine soldiers to the birds of the air and the wild animals. Then all the world will know there is a God in Israel! Everyone gathered here will know the Lord does not need swords or spears to save people. The battle belongs to him! And he will help us defeat all of you. 1 Samuel 17:42-47
Exhausted And Wounded
My hands are blistered and raw. Afraid of losing and all that evil losing would bring to us, I tugged harder. I can’t hold on to the rope much longer… I can’t even will myself to, it hurts too much. It is not a game, life… it is not a tug of war… God’s got this. Drop the rope, walk away and stay in followship of God. This is His battle and He will play it out as He purposefully chooses. He has a battle strategy, a good endgame. God Wins! Trust is an activated faith that drops the rope in the tug of war, realizing this is just one battle lost, God has won the war and this battle was never ours to fight. Hold up your hands in surrender to God, He will heal them.
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day. Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts. The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Psalms 46:1-7
Let Go And Let God
If your hands are blistered and bloodied in a tug a war, maybe you should let go of the rope, this is probably not the game you should be in, the war is Gods, He is the only one who can tug a heart and win. In a tug of war with the enemy, without God on our side of the rope, we can’t win that battle and we will be drug right into the dark side. Walk away, let be, be still and know He is God. He’s got this. Let be, let go, be still and know He is God. I have a mission, it is not The Fixer, The Savior, or The Redeemer. It is that of a servant, a prayer mentor who is pointing the way, testifying to the Truth. As I live like Jesus would, it points the way to Jesus and His Kingdom. I let go of the rope of control, manipulation and desiring to win my way. I chose to stay on mission with God as His Servant Warrior in followship of Him. I will do what He asks, when He asks it, no questions asked. Wholly-Holy yielded to God, my hands free of the rope, I pray and surrender to God.
God Wins
The truth I love is that God has that miraculously famous ability to turn the tide of evil schemes, it is called a boomerang affect, where eventually the evil comes right back into the life of the one who crafted it, launched it, and it boomerangs on them, hitting them between the eyes, destroying the evil doer instead of its original innocent target. God Wins.
Then Haman said to King Xerxes, “There is a certain group of people in all the areas of your kingdom. They are scattered among the other people. They keep themselves separate. Their customs are different from those of all the other people. And they do not obey the king’s laws. It is not right for you to allow them to continue living in your kingdom. If it pleases the king, let an order be given to destroy those people. Then I will pay 375 tons of silver to those who do the king’s business. They will put it into the royal treasury. Esther 3:8-9 'Then Queen Esther answered, “My king, I hope you are pleased with me. If it pleases you, let me live. This is what I ask. And let my people live, too. This is what I want. I ask this because my people and I have been sold to be destroyed. We are to be killed and completely wiped out. If we had been sold as male and female slaves, I would have kept quiet. That would not be enough of a problem to bother the king.” Then King Xerxes asked Queen Esther, “Who is he? Where is he? Who has done such a thing?” Esther said, “A man who is against us! Our enemy is this wicked Haman!” Then Haman was filled with terror before the king and queen. Esther 7:3-6 Harbona was one of the eunuchs there serving the king. He said, “Look, a platform for hanging people stands near Haman’s house. It is 75 feet high. This is the one Haman had prepared for Mordecai, who gave the warning that saved the king.” The king said, “Hang Haman on it!” So they hanged Haman on the platform he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the king was not so angry anymore. Esther 7:9-10
God Finishes Excellently
Let go of the way you think things should play out. God is working things out in the unseen. We have to wholly-holy believe in God and in this double-sided coin of belief in Jesus and believing Jesus. We believe in Jesus and we believe Jesus. This is where trust is activated into a strong faith that can stand the tests and trials of the enemy in these times. We patiently endure, standing on the foundation of belief, because we know God is faithful, and we know truth takes time to effectively work out into a God endgame which is good. Purposefully so, God always finishes excellently. God is our Advocate, and He is trustworthy and faithful to us. Stay on mission with God as your navigator. Don’t be fooled by fickle emotional narratives full of speculation, presuppositions and presumption. Stand firmly on the side of truth. Activate your faith, and no matter what things look like, focus on God and stand firm in the truth that God Wins.
Listen to advice and accept correction. Then in the end you will be wise. People can make many different plans. But only the Lord’s plan will happen. A person’s own foolishness ruins his life. But in his mind he blames the Lord for it. Proverbs 19:3,20-21
Advocate Of Our Soul
Ever followed after a dumb thought with a stupid reaction? Do you wonder where that came from? It is great to be led by the Advocate of our soul, God’s Holy Spirit, who helps us realize that was an evil crafted, dumb thought, with a bad reaction, and He helps navigate a U-Turn. Let’s turn that bad reaction around to truth, a Godly response with a good action. We wrongly think we can control others by our emotional reaction to their stupid choices. We can’t control people. Whenever I have used that tactic of controlling through emotionally charged actions, making the choice to manipulate, using illegitimate authority and power that was not mine, I would immediately lose my peace. Once I reacted with a manipulative action and lost my peace completely. I asked the Lord: What is wrong, I have lost my peace, I feel lost. God said to me, Read the story of the Prodigal Son. (Luke 15:11-31) Let’s be found in the Word of God as this 1 Minute Encouragement Video speaks the wisdom of making the Right Choice the 1st time:
Moments Of Revelation
God and I had a revelatory moment. He said: in the story of “The Prodigal Son”, I AM the Father, I gave the inheritance of My blessings, honor, favor and riches. It was squandered, and then the son came back, whole heartedly to Me. Then God said, let go of the rope, you have been in a tug of war with Me, but now it is without Me. If there are waves crashing into your nation, I AM the Wave-Maker. Think of what I did, I was tugging this nation into the light of My glory by My miraculous intervention of a divine appointment with a true leader. What happened? People took illegitimate authority and supremacy and began tugging the rope and pulling people into the dark side with them. What did I do? I let go of the rope. I let them have their way. No more tug of war, the evil is being exposed, and I am expunging it. I got this. Stay in Followship of Me, step by step, I will guide you. Trying to control a battle, that does not even belong to you is exhausting. It is my inheritance to give this nation, you trying to control how I am doing things, is speaking loudly of mistrust, doubt and unbelief. It is not the right choice. Followship Is. This is My battle. Follow after My lead.
Our Inheritance
Does the United States deserve an inheritance from Me. No. An inheritance is just that… it is undeserved. Everyone has received an undeserved inheritance at one time or another, receiving something that someone else worked for, and they did not. God told me this: God has not withheld the inheritance of favor and blessing on the United States, because He knew we would squander it, He knew we would face dire consequences of our bad choices, and at that point of wallowing with the pigs in the dirt and mire, God knew the Prodigal Son would come to his senses and return back home to the Father’s Love. The Father is waiting with open arms, to revive, renew and restore His relationship with us.
“God is doing something this very minute to help you do what you otherwise could not. He is renewing your mind, realigning your passions and attitudes and giving your strength to live in a way that is pleasing to Him and blessing to others.” Priscilla Shirer
Drop The Rope
Pray and stay on mission with God. Control is not a fixer; God is the fixer. God is waiting for this nation, from afar, The Father, anticipating our return, waiting for the son to come back home into His Arms… this is not about us and what we do, it is about what God is doing. The best choice we can make, is to choose to yield to God’s way, even if things get hard in this season, we stay focused on Jesus, in Followship of God. Saying no to manipulation and control, saying Yes to God. He’s got this. No more tug of war… drop the rope.
“God raised us up and clothed us with himself. He took our barrenness and wrapped it in his glory. Now, the seeds we sow—these actions in the form of prayer, compassion, and kind deeds—bear fruit in his name. He has given us the privilege of spreading his glory seeds across the earth.“ Simmons and Rodriquez “First Fruits”
No More Tears
At the bottom of the well, there is joy. Why? Well, you have fallen as far as you can fall, there are no more tears, the well is dry, no more words can change the outcome. You sit at the bottom and joy wells up within your soul. Why Joy? Your faith is activated and your focus is up, because you can’t fall any further, you are at the bottom, sitting in the dark and still can see light. As hard as the enemy tried, light it is not extinguished. Oh, the joy of that. Your belief rises and your trust activates as you patiently endure, knowing your redemption draws nigh, your rescuer is near, and He will shatter this dark night with His JOY, a strength like no other, He will lift you up and out of that pit and Joy will soul saturate your new day.
I will praise you, Lord, because you rescued me. You did not let my enemies laugh at me. Lord, my God, I prayed to you. And you healed me. You lifted me out of the grave. You spared me from going down where the dead are. Sing praises to the Lord, you who belong to him. Praise his holy name. His anger lasts only a moment. But his kindness lasts for a lifetime. Crying may last for a night. But joy comes in the morning. Psalms 30:1-5
