Saved From Self-Enslavement
I was so enslaved to myself, serving no power higher than self. I was a part of a sinking ship, so consumed with myself, I did not even notice. Then Jesus, You came into my life, You freed me, You changed my focus off myself, to Your Kingdom. You saved me. What You did for me, I can’t even begin to express my gratitude in a measurement that could even begin to repay You. You gave me eternal life. How do I wrap my mind around what You did, Savior and Lord? Coming here, dying for me, purchasing my freedom from death. I have a future and a hope. My heart is wholly-holy Yours, that is why I don’t ask for much for myself when I pray, I ask more for Your mission, for what can be done for Your Kingdom. You are at the center of my life, You are the ONE I serve first and foremost. Freely Given Life
I know that this life I was gifted with that never ends because of You, what You did for me was given to me freely, and I owe nothing for it. The greatest gift ever gifted to mankind and we owe nothing for it. This makes me love You, my Savior, so much more, and gives me a deep desire to serve You with my life. My life used to be so focused on myself, all things me, I was at the center of all my purpose and everything I did was to advance me, my position, my standing, my finances, my things, it was all about me. How exhausting that was. When I met You, Jesus I was so sick of all things me, so lost in myself and all my stuff. You changed that up and I am so grateful for that. I am all about Your Kingdom now and everything else peacefully comes into place for me without me having to frustratedly serve no power higher than self, and consistently never finish what I started. Without You, I very rarely finish well. I know I will finish well now, empowered by You, as I serve You 24/7 with my whole life being Yours. It is a pleasure being all in for Your Kingdom. I hope you, who are reading this now, that you, reader, will choose to serve Jesus, the greatest Supremacy ever known to mankind. Spiritual Markers
This scripture is a spiritual marker for me in my life as Your Servant Warrior, Jesus! You have total access to my life, Jesus, and I wait on You, each day for my followship navigation. My first step out of every day, is to bow before You, connect with You, heart to heart, and be filled with Your Light of truth. I know, connecting with You, heart to heart, I will be empowered and equipped by You for the Great God adventure ahead in my day. What can I do for You today, Lord Jesus? I serve at Your pleasure, gratefully and with abundant joy. I abandon my life to Your Will today for Your glory to the advancement of Your Kingdom. Jesus, there is no higher, purer, more powerful Supremacy than Yours, and I am thrilled to be found positioned under Your Rulership of Love. I do not kindle my own fire and let it flame up, walking by the light of a man-made fire, I wait on You, for the fire that comes down from heaven and walk in that never ending light, that can’t be extinguished by anything or anyone.
