When you do things, do not let selfishness or pride be your guide. Be humble and give more honor to others than to yourselves. Do not be interested only in your own life, but be interested in the lives of others. In your lives you must think and act like Christ Jesus. Christ himself was like God in everything. He was equal with God. But he did not think that being equal with God was something to be held on to. He gave up his place with God and made himself nothing. He was born as a man and became like a servant. And when he was living as a man, he humbled himself and was fully obedient to God. He obeyed even when that caused his death—death on a cross. Philippians 2:3-8
What Are You Splashing?
Our lives are constantly splashing up on others. What are you splashing? Is it kindness? Is it caring? Is it friendship? Is it truth and love? When we are connected with God, heart to heart, He fills us with all things Him, full to overflowing and we splash out of our lives all things of His character. He loves us, it is His desire that we live with Him forever, so He has an incredible passion for the lost as we should. As we stay in vital-vertical relationship with God, we mirror Him and our lives have compassion, civility and common sense that does splash out and change things up all around us for good. We pray to be a vessel of God’s peace and love in times such as these. Pour into us Lord, Your abundant love to overflowing and may it splash out on all those around us. We want to be Your compassion, wisdom, truth, love, joy, common sense, and peace to our world. So much divides us Lord Jesus, in times such as these, we are a fragmented people. If we splash up kindness, love, compassion and civility, we could be a vessel of your peace as we selflessly do everything we can do to be peace makers. Splashing Up Godly Character
Pray It Up
Yes Lord, pour us out, wherever You have purposefully placed us. When we connect with You, heart to heart, You fill us to overflowing and this overflow is You, the anointing of Your love, peace, wisdom, hope and purpose and it splashes out all over others, it pours out of us to others. Make it so. Change us up to You first, to Your Kingdom first, to be filled by You, to be poured out purposefully by You. Jesus we yield to Your Purposes in play in us, that Providential Care which is working in our lives for our good and Your glory. Let it be so, the purposes of God unhindered and at play in us and through us.
The steps of a [good] man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way [and He busies Himself with his every step].24 Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord grasps his hand in support and upholds him. Psalm 37: 23-24
Perfectly Placed
Wherever we are, we are placed there purposefully. God always has a plan and He is always on the move, using all those who are opened hearted to Him, filling them to overflow with His life, mercy, grace, love, wisdom, not to be kept, but to be poured out on people all around us. This is our divine appointment and it begins with our vital-vertical relationship with Jesus, as we make it personal with Jesus, and He fills us, directing us to the divine appointments where we pour out all things Him on others which He has divinely put in our path. It begins with Jesus, heart to Heart and spirit to Spirit with Him (vital-vertical relationship) and it ends so well, because Jesus is a great finisher. He pours into us and we pour it all out to our world, this anointing, is His, and the outcome is miraculously so, His. Our success in life is not in taking and keeping, it is in being faithfully Gods, giving Him total access to our lives, being filled by Him and pouring it all out to others. Let it be so. Listen up to this 1 Minute Encouragement Video on how we are perfectly placed by God.
Wherever you are right now, you are there purposefully. You are placed by God. Our Father God is so good at putting us exactly where we need to be, when we need to be there. He sets up divine appointments so His people can bless each other, care for each other, encourage each other. Recently I went through the “month from hell” and so many bad things happened. But God used the people all around me, purposefully they were placed there and He encouraged me, loved me and cared for me through these people. So, where you are right now is purposeful. Open your eyes and your heart wide to God, because He has a divine appointment for you today, someone to encourage, someone to pray for or someone to help in a tangible way. Our God is masterful at using us with each other, to care for us in His Providential Kind of way. So, wherever He has placed you, it is purposeful. Wherever you are, pray for the people all around you, pray for your neighborhood, your city, your state, your nation. God has purposefully placed you there to pour into you so you can pour out to others His great love, wisdom and all things Him. Dig Deeper:
