God’s love is abundant, spectacular, incredible and very, very desired. When His love soul saturates us and then overflows to others, it is so contagious. People love, being loved by God in that supernatural way of His. They love that heart-to-heart feeling with God, that is so essential for their soul health. God’s love is very desirable and very sought out after. Contagious Love, is essential love. It begins with us receiving God’s love and continues with God pouring out His abundant love on us. The best thing about God’s Love is it never ends, as God’s love is a loyal, forever love.
Delightfully loved ones, if he loved us with such tremendous love, then “loving one another” should be our way of life! 12 No one has ever gazed upon the fullness of God’s splendor. But if we love one another, God makes his permanent home in us, and we make our permanent home in him, and his love is brought to its full expression in us. 13And he has given us his Spirit within us so that we can have the assurance that he lives in us and that we live in him. 14 Moreover, we have seen with our own eyes and can testify to the truth that Father God has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. 15 Those who give thanks that Jesus is the Son of God live in God, and God lives in them. 16 We have come into an intimate experience with God’s love, and we trust in the love he has for us. God is love! Those who are living in love are living in God, and God lives through them. 1 John 4:11-16 TPT
The overflow of God’s love and life in us, this contagious anointing of God, this is what attracts others to Him. Love is essential to humanity; the love of God is our simply-significantly enough. We open our hearts wide to God and He fills them with His abundant love, full, and overflowing out of us is God’s contagious love. God’s love is exciting and thrilling to our spirit and very communicable as we selflessly love and care for others through the power of God’s Love.
Then I said: “Lord, the God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and keep his commandments, 6let your ear be attentive and your eyes open to hear the prayer your servant is praying before you day and night for your servants, the people of Israel. Nehemiah 1:5
We are not just a body, we are a soul, mind, will and spirit. Our devotion connection with our Creator God, heart to heart and spirit to spirit is a vital necessity to us thriving as human beings. We were created with the need of personal connection with our God. Spending time with God, talking, praying, listening up to Him, yielding our lives, bowing all things us to Him, it is so fulfilling. We thrive in the light of God’s abundant love, and as we grow in a vital-vertical relationship with Him, God’s love overflows in us, we can’t contain the joy of it.
God’s abundant love, fills us to overflow in our heart-to-heart relationship with Him and this is where our attractive anointing comes from. God’s love is contagious and we need to be infilled with it, effecting others’ lives because of the overflow of God’s love in us. God’s love is an all-consuming love, and as we give ourselves to Him, making our relationship with Him personal, genuine and unique, we are filled with His overflow of love, a contagious love that attracts others to Him. The contagious love of God, is incredibly fulfilling and spectacularly amazing, therefore I highly suggest that everyone know Him, know Him personally, love Him and be loved by Him in that way only He can.
I am like a flourishing olive tree, anointed in the house of God. I trust in the unending love of God; his passion toward me is forever and ever. 9Because it is finished I will be praising you forever and giving you thanks. Before all your godly lovers I will proclaim your beautiful name! Psalm 52:8-9 TPT
When I stretch my life way past me, way past what I can be, stepping out of my comfort zone to God, personally interacting in an intimate relationship with God, I experience new things and this makes life exciting. I can be personal with God, heart to heart and spirit to spirit in worship of God, and this is when I am most fulfilled and successful in my life. I call this relationship with God a best friendship with God, where we genuinely talk, share, listen to one another, and I experience the great bonus of being taught by the Holy Spirit through His powerful Word. From my vital-vertical relationship with God, this is where the overflow of God is, as His love flows into me and out of me, and is seen as an attractive anointing. I have had sweet comments left on my social media posts from people attracted to me. It can’t be because they know me personally, or they do life with me, they don’t. They don’t have any kind of relationship with me. So, what attracts them to me? I call it the “Attractive Anointing” of God. We thrive in the light of God’s abundant love, and as we grow in a vital-vertical relationship with Him, God’s love overflows in us, we can’t contain the joy of it, and joy is a very attractive thing in times such as these.
Jesus, is who people are attracted to, so I point them away from the attraction of the finite, to the supernatural attraction to Jesus first. Life is good when you navigate past the finite love to the infinite love of God. This is what we truly are seeking, when we look for love, we are looking for Jesus, He is the one who attracts us, and Jesus, the overflow of His life in us, is our anointing for loving others well. We were all born with the need for a relationship with our God, because we have eternity written on our hearts by our God, and this makes God’s love very contagious. The joy of the Lord in us, overflows out of us and this joy is rooted in the love of Jesus, which we receive in our vital-vertical relationship with Him. Our lives, lived out of the lavish love of God, makes us joyful with a contagious joy, faith and hope.
I’m writing to the chosen ones who are wrapped in the love of Father God—kept and guarded for Jesus, the Messiah. 2May God’s mercy, peace, and love cascade over you! Jude 1-2; 21-21; But you, my delightfully loved friends, constantly and progressively build yourselves up on the foundation of your most holy faith by praying every moment in the Spirit. 21Fasten your hearts to the love of God and receive the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who gives us eternal life. Stretching past my human nature, my human condition starts with sacrifice of all things me, a stretch surrender of me, this is an action of love, a willingness to be taught by God, to be shaped by God and to be used by God as His servant. I get up early, not because I like it. It is a sacrifice of praise, and love for God. I am not a morning person, but I choose to be, because I desire that one-on-one worship time, personal relationship time, alone, God and me with His Holy Spirit and Living Word. Being in this vital-vertical relationship with God, it changes me, it shapes me in His Image. I choose to love God and to be loved by God. Finite love is beautiful, but Infinite Love is spectacular as I honor, respect, and reverence Jesus, today, tomorrow and forever. There is no greater love than the love of our Father God. Therefore, I choose to know God as much as I can.
God’s love is contagious and He is the attractive One that people seek when they pursue love, they are trying to fill that God shaped hole in their heart with all kinds of love, but when they finally turn to Him, giving their life to Him, they realize that He can fully satisfy every unmet need. Human love is not enough for us, we were created for more than that. No human being can fully meet our inherent need to be loved. No human being can meet all our needs or satisfy all of our desires. We were created to need God, to be loved and love our Creator God, and this is why God’s love is a contagious love.
