We all experience times of testing, which is normal for every human being. But God will be faithful to you. He will screen and filter the severity, nature, and timing of every test or trial you face so that you can bear it. And each test is an opportunity to trust him more, for along with every trial God has provided for you a way of escape that will bring you out of it victoriously. 1 Corinthians 10:13
Rocked Foundation
We all, “HeartToHeart” should be in what I call daily trust mode. It is way too hard to look ahead when we have so much cultural chaos growing on. Then, when those sudden reality bombs totally disrupt our lives, we feel like we can’t win for losing. Yes, when a unexpected trial hits our lives, and there is no clarity, we naturally lean into negative thinking, which leads to foolish, impulsive choices. We rationalize: It looks really bad, but maybe it won’t be so bad, and then starts the over thinking that leaves us with exhausted brain fog. What I have found through my life experiences, is sometimes, there is no answer, no clarity and we don’t know, and we have to trust God, wait in faith, and see how He plays it out. If our foundation gets rocked with every sudden trial, and we keep leaning into our worldly viewpoint, then we will have soul emotions that go cra-cra crazy! It is not good when our soul is stirred up, especially because all the cultural stress from the cultural rot of our times, combined with the unsureness of a sudden new situation, does tend to push us over the emotional ledge! Will the real truth and nothing but the truth stand up and speak out? Well that is up to us. When our foundation is rocked, this is when our mind needs some self-control, and we find that as we lean into the stabilizing Word of God.
Adjusting Our Focus
Okay! So, the reality of truth is what really matters has not changed, we are still positioned underneath the Rulership of God’s Love. This is our Kingdom perspective. But us human beings just love hanging onto that worldly viewpoint trying to figure it all out. So, what is the solution to alleviate the fleshly stress of dealing with cultural corruption and now a sudden life storm? The solution is in adjusting our focus. We have to choose, either a worldly viewpoint or a kingdom perspective. The best choice starts with a Kingdom perspective that activates our trust and helps us step out of the chaos of the unknown and focus on Jesus in the now. When trust is activated, the peace of God pours into our soul and our mind is quieted. That is what I call the peace of God, which surpasses all of our need for understanding.
Through our faith, the mighty power of God constantly guards us until our full salvation is ready to be revealed in the last time. May the thought of this cause you to jump for joy, even though lately you’ve had to put up with the grief of many trials. But these only reveal the sterling core of your faith, which is far more valuable than gold that perishes, for even gold is refined by fire. Your authentic faith will result in even more praise, glory, and honor when Jesus the Anointed One is revealed. 1 Peter 1:5-7
Fake Reality
So today, we remind ourselves of the most basic, yet most stabilizing truth, God is with us now, right now, in this day, He is with us and for us. We can’t fix tomorrow, and we probably can only assume and speculate about the trouble we think might be in it. So why borrow the trouble of tomorrow against a presupposition and pay the anxiety interest on a loan that we don’t have yet? Makes sense not to walk in a fake reality created by worry, especially since we can’t fix anything on our own, God is the Fixer. So why worry? The cost of worry is a peaceless day. Got peace? If not, activate your trust in God, walk in faith and know He’s gotcha. #DigDeeper https://thebridegroomscafe.com/the-bridegroom-speaks-about-questions/
No Worries
God is not the author of worry, so who is? Who are we listening to when we worry? The enemy of our soul and his famously horrid “what if” crappy suggestions. Let’s not stank up our life with the false narrative of a fake reality. Only God knows our reality of truth. God has gone before us, He knows and, in this day, He is equipping us for our tomorrow, purposefully so. If we are focusing ahead and listening up to the speculation of our enemy, we are missing out on being equipped by God, for what is ahead. Today is the day we need to grow through. We don’t need to know about tomorrow, we need to hang with God in our today, and grow through with Him. Gods got our tomorrow, so let’s believe Him, activate our faith, and trust Him with what we think we see ahead. Letting go and letting God actually is yielding the pen that writes our life story to Him, letting the pen go and surrendering to His Authorship.
Consider the birds—do you think they worry about their existence? They don’t plant or reap or store up food, yet your heavenly Father provides them each with food. Aren’t you much more valuable to your Father than they? So, which one of you by worrying could add anything to your life? “And why would you worry about your clothing? Look at all the beautiful flowers of the field. They don’t work or toil, So if God has clothed the meadow with hay, which is here for such a short time and then dried up and burned, won’t he provide for you the clothes you need—you of little faith? “So then, forsake your worries! Why would you say, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ For that is what the unbelievers chase after. Doesn’t your heavenly Father already know the things your bodies require? “So above all, constantly seek God’s kingdom and his righteousness, then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly. Refuse to worry about tomorrow, but deal with each challenge that comes your way, one day at a time. Tomorrow will take care of itself. Matthew 6:26-28,30-34
Need To Know
Give God The Pen! God is a much better writer than we are because He is not distracted or disrupted by the enemy, and He sees and knows exactly what is ahead for our reality of truth. Our need to know, trapped us at the very beginning of humanity and as old as that trick is, the enemy is still using it on us. We have a Father God who knows all, who loves us abundantly, who has provided for us so faithfully well throughout our lives, so why is it that we need to know. Our God is trustworthy, faithful and true. We don’t need to know; He knows and that needs to be our enough! So, when we are suddenly confronted with an unexpected situation that we can’t see with clarity in the near future what the outcome will be, we should stop focusing on it, and turn away, to fully face our God, trusting Him to navigate us through this day and leave tomorrow to Him to handle. He is able. Awe-God!
