The Bridegroom Speaks About Questions

“He who has the bride is the Bridegroom; but the groomsman who stands by and listens to Him rejoices greatly and heartily on account of the Bridegroom’s Voice. This then is my pleasure and joy, and it is now complete. He must increase, but I must decrease.” John 3: 29-30 Amplified Bible

The Bride asks: “Jesus, My heart is cluttered with unanswered questions. They cast a shadow of doubt, blanketing my mind with anxiety and layering my soul with fears. I wait, anticipating Your answers and when You don’t respond to me right away, my mind goes crazy with doubts. I don’t understand Your ways.I wonder why? Why, my Lord?” The Bridegroom Answers: “I have one statement for you: Because I AM.” Excerpt From The Bridegroom’s Voice Week 2 Questions

My Groomsman’s Journaling

My Thoughts: What I loved about that answer was Jesus cut through all the emotions and feelings with a statement of truth that trumped every question The Bride asked with a definitive truth that denies unbelief any power. How could you come back with a feeling after that? It said it all. I read it and it just finalizes all my questions. Because He Is The I AM. There is no comeback to that statement of the reality of truth.

“I do respond each time you ask and My response to you, even if it is not what you want to hear, is not trite; it embraces My eternal mystery of today, tomorrow, and forever.” The Bridegroom Jesus; Excerpt From The Bridegroom’s Voice Week 2 Questions

My Thoughts: How can we even question Him? When you think about it, outside of your feelings and with common sense, it is just arrogance. How do you question someone who knows everything and act like He does not? Hey, I have done it. So, I can’t point a finger of being better than anyone else at this God – Human relationship, finite person with an Infinite God. But, that doesn’t shut down conversation, it doesn’t limit God from sharing His Infinite wisdom, and the Who of Himself. But then again, how can we question the One Who gave all, held nothing back, even His very life? How can we question His loyalty when we are loved so perfectly? I feel humbled.

Matthew 27:33 But immediately He spoke to them, saying, “Take courage, it is I! Do not be afraid!” 28Peter replied to Him, “Lord, if it is [really] You, command me to come to You on the water.” 29He said, “Come!” So Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30But when he saw [the effects of] the wind, he was frightened, and he began to sink, and he cried out, “Lord, save me!” 31Immediately Jesus extended His hand and caught him, saying to him, “O you of little faith, why did you I.e. allow yourself to be drawn in two directions. doubt?” 32And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. 33Then those in the boat worshiped Him [with awe-inspired reverence], saying, “Truly You are the Son of God!”

My Groomsman’s Journaling

My Thoughts: So we question God when we are walking in doubt. Doubt when it rises up, it seems like it is accompanied by fear, anxiety and panic. When they saw the miracle, that is when the awe of what they saw inspired reverence there was no doubt where reverence was present. I was thinking our reverence should be a forever attitude of our heart, no matter what we are growing through. If we have a stable reverence for God, because of Who He is, and not because of what He does, then our faith will increase and our doubt will decrease and this factors in the reverence attitudes of our soul being at an all-time high. Awe is a big factor in having a good attitude of inspired reverence, that stands up even in the times we feel overwhelmed by negative life situations.

“Let Me be enough. I’ve got this. You have been guaranteed an incredible inheritance in Me and contained within this future gift is the complete answer for all your questions. Church, seek first the Kingdom of God so you are not ensnared by disposable theory. Why do you doubt Me? Why is it you disapprove of My decisions before you trust in My methods?” Excerpt From The Bridegroom’s Voice Week 2 Questions

My Groomsman’s Journaling

God is trustworthy. Jesus showed us the Father through His life here on earth. We saw the Love of God through Jesus. Why do we not believe Jesus? Why do we question Him when we have seen through His Life Legacy that all things are possible? The Father God showed the extent of His Love, the farthest reach of His Love and all that His love encompassed. It is a sacrificial love. How can we doubt it? We are in Christ, and the Father God loves us and reveals Himself to us through Jesus, by the power of His Holy Spirit. If we love Jesus, we will believe Him and obey His Words. Jesus spoke truth to us and then He left us an Advocate, His Holy Spirit to navigate us. There is no reason to question God, there is no reason to be troubled or afraid. God tells us things before they happen, He prepares us and equips us with all that we need. There is no reason to doubt Him or question God. He has abundantly blessed us; He is working in the unseen for our good as He has from the beginning to now and forevermore.

“What I say, I do. What I speak is. This has been the strong reputation of My spoken word. My heart does not change with the cultural tides of your life.” Excerpt From The Bridegroom’s Voice Week 2 Questions

My Groomsman’s Journaling

I agree. I need to be more like You. My mind goes crazy with the changing of cultural tides. I am so distracted, anxious and fearful at times because I get caught up in a false narrative and want to be the fixer of it, then that becomes my “cause” and I lose my alignment with my commission to say on mission with You, Lord God. My focus is either going to be on the chaos or it is going to be on Christ. Wherever my focus is, there goes my soul. If I am reacting to a focus on all the cultural chaos going on, then my soul is going to be a crazy ride of emotions, up and down! My first focus needs to be Jesus Christ, His way, His truth, His promises, His life.

“My Bride, will you change your course when life gets tough and the violent winds of your generation fiercely whirl doubts around your heart? Spend more time with Me. I will teach you to not be intimated by deceptive fears and negative thoughts.” The Bridegroom’s Voice Excerpt By KimberlyMac

My Groomsman’s Journaling

Oh, this statement just pierces my heart. I still question God at times. Do you? When I question God, I can almost hear the Holy Spirit say this right to me: Have I been with you all this time and yet you still don’t know WHO I AM? Oh, the human condition. I pray Lord God, You infuse mine with Your Spirit and Truth. Deceptive fears, they are such a trap for my soul. It does all start with me questioning God, it seems when I do that, fears, anxieties and thoughts that contain unbelief stream into my mind. Why does God allow the storms? This is one question I need to settle, so when I am in the midst of a storm that interrupts my soul peace, I will have an answer already that sets my soul alright in faith, hope and belief.

My Groomsman’s Journaling

I have to be like You were, Your face like flint towards the commission, which was your whole-hearted mission. The commission is not my whole-hearted mission. This is my desire. I have a lot to change up when it comes to motives being corrupted by causes. Your motives were purely on mission with the Father God. Doubts just flood into my lack of alignment with the mission of Jesus Christ. When I am wholly-holy aligned with Him, I have the discernment I need to cast off the deception and distracting fears, I actually have a bold courage. God’s Commission Is My Mission. Therefore, I move forward with boldness and be found being a part of His Kingdom business.

“Rise above the clamor of these unsettled days and see beyond your panic into My steadfast eyes. Fully face your AWE-GOD! Today, I ask you to totally surrender the helm of your life to Me and let Me chart your course. Let your first call be to Me. Abide in My Love!” The Bridegroom’s Voice Excerpt By KimberlyMac

The Bridegroom Speaks Through His Word

James 1: 1-8 Greetings! My name is Jacob, and I’m a love-slave of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ. I’m writing to all the twelve tribes of Israel who have been sown as seeds among the nations. 2My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties, see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can! 3For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up power within you to endure all things. 4And then as your endurance grows even stronger it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking. 5And if anyone longs to be wise, ask God for wisdom and he will give it! He won’t see your lack of wisdom as an opportunity to scold you over your failures but he will overwhelm your failures with his generous grace. 6Just make sure you ask empowered by confident faith without doubting that you will receive. For the ambivalent person believes one minute and doubts the next. Being undecided makes you become like the rough seas driven and tossed by the wind. You’re up one minute and tossed down the next. 7-8When you are half-hearted and wavering it leaves you unstable. Can you really expect to receive anything from the Lord when you’re in that condition?

My Groomsman’s Journaling

I am questioning God a lot lately, not liking His methods and when I do, I question WHO He is, as I look for answers that apply to here and now, I forget about my GOD, Who He is, and the future He has secured for me and that it isn’t here. I stumble when I think I can be the fixer and figure everything out with my knowledge, but He is the only FIXER, and He knows all, I only see in part. So, I am not the fixer of anything here, this is not my world, it is His and He maintains it, I don’t. Humbled! I am in this world but have to stop being so of it. This is not my home. If I need help navigating through, growing through the trials and tests of this life season, I know all I have to do is ask God and He will navigate me by the power of His Holy Spirit! God is perfect and I am not and if I keep my eyes on HIS Perfection, soak my soul in the beauty of it, I will stop questioning Him so much. I will trust His heart, and I will not care what methods He uses to get to His endgame, because I will know, without a doubt, it will be good for us and glorious for His Kingdom.

The Bridegroom Speaks Through His Word

Genesis 18:10-14 Then one of them said, “I will return to you about this time next year, and your wife, Sarah, will have a son!” Sarah was listening to this conversation from the tent. 11Abraham and Sarah were both very old by this time, and Sarah was long past the age of having children. 12So she laughed silently to herself and said, “How could a worn-out woman like me enjoy such pleasure, especially when my master—my husband—is also so old?” 13Then the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh? Why did she say, ‘Can an old woman like me have a baby?’ 14Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return about this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.”

My Groomsman’s Journaling

I know I struggle with this too. I believe in God, I love Him, I do. But there are times when I don’t “believe Him”. I doubt. I know it is because my focus has been more of a worldly viewpoint than a kingdom perspective and I need to change this up. I need to start living out of the Kingdom, the place I do belong. In Christ, all things are possible. If He says it to me, I need to believe it. I don’t need to let doubt come in through what I see right now. I need to believe without seeing that God can work a miracle and if He has said He is going to do it, He will do it. I need to patiently endure and watch in prayer, decreeing and declaring His Promises and wait in hope, remembering His Perfection, His trustworthiness, His faithfulness, and need to not doubt I will SEE His glory.

What I say, I do. What I speak, is. This has been the strong reputation of My spoken word. My heart does not change with the cultural tides of your life. Spend more time with Me. I will teach you to not be intimidated by deceptive fears and negative thoughts. I will teach you how to sidestep the tornados that suddenly arise in your path and I will give you the wisdom to stand safely outside these temporary whirlwinds of your enemy until they spin out. The Bridegroom’s Voice Excerpt By KimberlyMac

My Groomsman’s Journaling

I do exactly that. The enemy spins these incredible tornados with winds of deceit, injustice, unfairness and I step into it and get beat up, especially my mind, it just won’t shut off once I have stepped into the enemies whirlwind, my mind becomes chaotic. I do need more of You and I do desire to learn to be taught how not to step into the traps of my enemy. Help me Lord.

The Bridegroom Speaks Through His Word

Matthew 21: 10-22 When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred up. The people asked, “Who is this?” 11 The crowds answered, “This is Jesus. He is the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.” Jesus Clears Out the Temple~ 12 Jesus entered the temple courtyard. He began to drive out all those who were buying and selling there. He turned over the tables of the people who were exchanging money. He also turned over the benches of those who were selling doves. 13He said to them, “It is written that the Lord said, ‘My house will be called a house where people can pray.’ (Isaiah 56:7) But you are making it ‘a den for robbers.’” (Jeremiah 7:11) 14 Blind people and those who were disabled came to Jesus at the temple. There he healed them. 15 The chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did. They also saw the children in the temple courtyard shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” But when they saw all this, they became angry. 16″Do you hear what these children are saying?” they asked him.”(‘Lord, you have made sure that children and infants praise you.’” (Psalm 8:2) 17 Then Jesus left the people and went out of the city to Bethany. He spent the night there. Jesus Makes a Fig Tree Dry Up~ 18Early in the morning, Jesus was on his way back to Jerusalem. He was hungry. 19 He saw a fig tree by the road. He went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” Right away the tree dried up. 20 When the disciples saw this, they were amazed. “How did the fig tree dry up so quickly?” they asked. 21 Jesus replied, “What I’m about to tell you is true. You must have faith and not doubt. Then you can do what was done to the fig tree. And you can say to this mountain, ‘Go and throw yourself into the sea.’ It will be done. 22 If you believe, you will receive what you ask for when you pray.”

My Groomsman’s Journaling

Jesus says that a lot to me. What I am about to tell you is the truth and it is then that I listen up very intently. I so want to believe Him. Like when He says something to me, I want to be the person Who says, okay, I believe that You can. Sometimes I can be that person and other times my faith has to stretch so far that I fail, but I am getting better at believing Him the first time, because He teaches me how to increase my faith before I get to those times that it needs to stretch.

Psalm 85:6-7 Revive us again, O God! I know you will! Give us a fresh start! Then all your people will taste your joy and gladness. 7 Pour out even more of your love on us! Reveal more of your kindness and restore us back to you!

I have good intentions; you must trust Me. I ask you to wait expectantly, with hope, for My revelations. I have filled this God- waiting room with My infinite love, therefore, My questioning one, sit here silently and submissively with Me. My bride, is hoping in Me not enough for you? Consequently, My answer to you is that I AM your Promised One, always and forever! The Bridegroom’s Voice Excerpt By KimberlyMac

My Groomsman’s Journaling

Only God can give us a fresh start as He pours out His love on us. We listen up just to hear His voice, there is such peace in His Voice and His Promises soothe our weary souls. How stupid we were to turn away from Him. We are surely paying the consequences for that. No doubt about it, our world is in chaos. Whose bright idea was the “Cancel God Culture” because it has not work out so well for us. The Lord has gone before us and we wait in hope for His forerunners of deliverance from evil and peace to our nations, these two incredible, miraculous works of God prepare a path for His steps to us to shower us with blessing, revival, renewal, blessing after blessing of a bountiful harvest of all things Him. We repentantly and humbly wait, knowing He has forgiven us as we have asked and believing in the reality of His Truth, that He is a God of right, of justice, of truth and is not mocked by anyone who opposes Him. I believe, we will see Him shatter the darkness of our age and come as a bright light of undeniable truth and set us all free from the illegitimate, fraudulent absolutely corrupted power in play in our nations. We look to God, we hope in Him. We watch in prayer, we wait in hope to see His Glory.

The Bridegroom Speaks Through His Word

Psalm 85: 9-13 For I know your power and presence shines on all your lovers. Your glory always hovers over all who bow low before you. Your mercy and your truth have married each other. Your righteousness and peace have kissed. 11Flowers of your faithfulness are blooming on the earth. Righteousness shines down from the sky. 12Yes, the Lord keeps raining down blessing after blessing, and prosperity will drench the land with a bountiful harvest. 13For deliverance and peace are his forerunners, preparing a path for his steps.

The Bridegroom Speaks Through His Word

Matthew 8:24-27 Suddenly a violent storm developed, with waves so high the boat was about to be swamped. Yet Jesus continued to sleep soundly. 25The disciples woke him up, saying, “Save us, Lord! We’re going to die!” 26But Jesus reprimanded them. “Why are you gripped with fear? Where is your faith?” Then he stood up and rebuked the storm and said, “Be still!” And instantly it became perfectly calm.27The disciples were astonished by this miracle and said to one another, “Who is this Man? Even the wind and waves obey his Word.”

My bride, I also have questions for you! Why do you doubt Me? Why is it you disapprove of My decisions before you trust in My methods? Why do you challenge My motives? Is our relationship shallow? Are you insecure? Do you conditionally believe in My mercy? Do you think I would do anything that was not for your good? Do you love Me with all your heart, soul, will, and mind? Are you anchored in My love? Receive My mercy right now. I forgive you, My church. Cling to Me. Dig your life- roots deeply in My infinite love. The Bridegroom’s Voice Excerpt By KimberlyMac

My Groomsman’s Journaling

I have been measured and found wanting. That is how I feel sometimes about my faith. It is those “sudden” situations of trial that measure my faith. How do I react? Or the better question is do respond to God first, before I react with panic, anxiety and fear? I do understand that feeling of being gripped with fear, I think it is our natural reaction, but then what came out of the disciples mouth was panic. I think there is a difference between fear and panic. I know I have taken that step from fear right into faith and there are times I have not, I have gone from fear right into panic. I think the difference between the two has always been for me, if my vital-vertical relationship with God is aligned in that wholly-holy kind of way, I go right from fear to faith. It never fails. So, that is why I feel my relationship with God and His Word is so vital.

The Bridegroom Speaks Through His Word

Luke 12:6-7 “What is the value of your soul to God? Could your worth be defined by an amount of money? God doesn’t abandon or forget even the small sparrow he has made. How then could he forget or abandon you? What about the seemingly minor issues of your life? Do they matter to God? Of course they do! So you never need to worry, for you are more valuable to God than anything else in this world. The Passion Translation

The Bridegroom Speaks Through His Word

Lamentations 3:17-32 Peace has been stripped away, and I have forgotten what prosperity is. 18 I cry out, “My splendor is gone! Everything I had hoped for from the Lord is lost!” 19The thought of my suffering and homelessness is bitter beyond words.3:19 Or is wormwood and gall. 20 I will never forget this awful time, as I grieve over my loss. 1Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this: 22 The faithful love of the Lord never ends! 3:22 As in Syriac version; Hebrew reads of the Lord keeps us from destruction. His mercies never cease. 23 Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. 24 I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!” 25 The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. 26 So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the Lord. 27 And it is good for people to submit at an early age to the yoke of his discipline: 28 Let them sit alone in silence beneath the Lord’s demands. 29 Let them lie face down in the dust, for there may be hope at last. 30 Let them turn the other cheek to those who strike them and accept the insults of their enemies. 31 For no one is abandoned by the Lord forever. 32 Though he brings grief, he also shows compassion because of the greatness of his unfailing love.

My Groomsman’s Journaling

When I question God, it is usually about me, I am not thinking about Him or His mission. He is so faithful to always think about us to do the things necessary whether we feel them as bad or good, He still does them so that we can grow to be more like Him. I may question His methods but I know I am never abandoned by Him, He is always with me. His compassion does not fail me and His unfailing love is a bulwark in my soul.

I have filled this God- waiting room with My infinite love, therefore, My questioning one, sit here silently and submissively with Me. My bride, is hoping in Me not enough for you? Consequently, My answer to you is that I AM your Promised One, always and forever! Let Me be enough. I’ve got this. The Bridegroom’s Voice Excerpt By KimberlyMac

Revelations 21: 1-7 The New Jerusalem 1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. 2And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them.21:3 Some manuscripts read God himself will be with them, their God. 4He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” Revelations 21: 5 And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.” 6 And he also said, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega—the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs of the water of life. 7 All who are victorious will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be my children. NLT

My Groomsman’s Journaling

Everything My Father God does, His motive is trustworthy and true and He is working out my salvation to finish what He started in me. To be victorious, I must keep reverence, respect and honor in my relationship with Him. He is my God, I am His child. He will always care for me, making choices for me that will produce His best for me. My God is trustworthy, I do not need to question His ways. I need to believe this incredible God, Who loves me more than life, Who has sacrificed for me so I might have an incredible, future a forever without pain, confusion, hurt, wounding, sorrow, crying, pain or death. He has provided me a victory that I can live in and out of while I am here in this place, in this barren and parched land, I have the living water of life, it springs up from my soul and refreshes all those around me.

I am warning you, My bride, your unbelief grieves Me; it influences your thoughts, attitudes, and behaviors. You question Me as one who thinks she knows it all, yet unlike Me you only see in part. Do you think you have sufficient wisdom from your life-experiences to create the all-inclusive perfect plan for your life? My promised bride, your insecurity causes you to be tossed back and forth between My wisdom and your understanding and this will be a turbulent ride for your mind. The Bridegroom’s Voice Excerpt By KimberlyMac

My Groomsman’s Journaling

Thank you for warning me, for caring about me enough to teach me how to have the discipline to choose my thoughts based on truth. Trying to figure everything out is such a trap and it starts with an over active mind. Where do all the questioning thoughts come from? They don’t come from God. If my enemy can cause chaos in my mind with thoughts that I allow to run to and fro and wreak havoc in my mind, then he also gets my soul attitudes, then my words and then my actions. It never stops in the mind. My enemy wants all of me and it begins in my mind. I must stop it there, trumping the lies with God’s way, truth and life. God is trustworthy, faithful and good and He wants dominion in my mind, so help me Holy Spirit to yield my mind to God’s thoughts.

The Bridegroom Speaks Through His Word

Matthew 25:11-13 Later, when the other five bridesmaids returned, they stood outside, calling, ‘Lord! Lord! Open the door for us!’ 12″But he called back, ‘Believe me, I don’t know you!’ 13″So you, too, must keep watch! For you do not know the day or hour of my return.

Hebrews 6: 13 Now when God made a promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater than himself, he swore an oath on his own integrity to keep the promise as sure as God exists! 14 So he said, “Have no doubt, I promise to bless you over and over, and give you a son and multiply you without measure!” 15 So Abraham waited patiently in faith and succeeded in seeing the promise fulfilled. 16 It is very common for people to swear an oath by something greater than themselves, for the oath will confirm their statements and end all dispute. 17 So in the same way, God wanted to end all doubt and confirm it even more forcefully to those who would inherit his promises. His purpose was unchangeable, so God added his vow to the promise. 18 So it is impossible for God to lie for we know that his promise and his vow will never change! And now we have run into his heart to hide ourselves in his faithfulness. This is where we find his strength and comfort, for he empowers us to seize what has already been established ahead of time—an unshakeable hope! 19 We have this certain hope like a strong, unbreakable anchor holding our souls to God himself. Our anchor of hope is fastened to the mercy seat which sits in the heavenly realm beyond the sacred threshold, 20 and where Jesus, our forerunner, has gone in before us. He is now and forever our royal Priest like Melchizedek. The Passion Translation

My Groomsman’s Journaling

Pure Love, unquestioned Love. We all seek it, we all desire to be loved perfectly. We are loved by the God Who created the universe, this incredibly, trustworthy God, we have His word, oath, vow and promise and this is how we patiently endure when we don’t understand His ways. We can trust Him; He has a strong reputation of faithfulness and trustworthiness. We should not question His motives, He, from the beginning of time has always had us in mind, once created, He has been a forever Advocate for us. God has loved us well. This is our hope for a good endgame as we grow through the trials of this life. We can anchor ourselves to God’s Love and God’s Word, it is sure, strong, unchangeable and powerful. God has never lied to us, He has never cheated us, He has never frauded us God’s motives and intentions toward us are pure, good and for us. It is in God’s Love; this is where we find our strength and our comfort for days like these where chaos is a part of our worldly viewpoint. God empowers us to seize peace that surpasses all of our understanding and hope in what is unseen. God stretches our faith in times such as these to match and supersede what is needed for us to trump all doubt, fear, anxiety and walk in His Promises out of His Love. I will not question You, Lord God, Your motives and Your Ways are always for my good. You love me with a forever love.
