So then, my dear ones, just as you have always obeyed [my instructions with enthusiasm], not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation [that is, cultivate it, bring it to full effect, actively pursue spiritual maturity] with awe-inspired fear and trembling [using serious caution and critical self-evaluation to avoid anything that might offend God or discredit the name of Christ. Philippians 2:12 Amplified Bible
Set An Atmosphere Of Awe
Opening our hearts wide to God, setting an atmosphere of awe in our soul, a boundary of respect in our spirit that guard our heart of the entry of all irreverence. This is how we grow in Christ, intentionally kingdom cultured by awe, respect, reverence of our God. Opening my life to be “Intentionally Kingdom Cultured” by God this year, I know I am deepening my spiritual maturity in that way of growth where my salvation will be worked out strenuously with respect of God, not a little bit, but a grand gesture of relational respect, heart to heart. It is not about me, here and now in this world, it is all about God and His Kingdom, from here to there unto forever. I chose to be Intentionally Kingdom Cultured. I listen up with awe and reverence to God. I am taught by a Kingdom culture, God’s way, truth and life.
“Let there be no strange god among you, nor shall you worship any foreign god. “I am the Lord your God, Who brought you up from the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide and I will fill it. “But My people would not listen to My voice, and Israel did not [consent to] obey Me. “So I gave them up to the stubbornness of their heart, to walk in [the path of] their own counsel. Psalm 81:9-12 Amplified Bible
Set Apart In Wholly-Holy Awe
It is a big thing, my relationship with God, this vital-vertical connection, I stand in awe of it, the privilege of knowing Him, spirit to Spirit. I live in Him; He lives in me. I honor this life connection, this constant conversation of spirit and truth as I grow, yielded to Him, allowing Him total access to my life so His way might be manifested in my daily living. I shrink back from the things that displease God out of reverence for Him, our relationship is set apart by a wholly-holy awe of Him. It feeds my soul with respect and in this atmosphere, I am wide open to grow stronger in spiritual maturity. I check my heart, I guard my heart to keep it from any attitude, motive, thought or deed that would offend God and discredit the name of Jesus. It is my hope to grow through this life in preparation and purposefully, intentionally pursue the spiritual maturity of the kingdom cultured heart.
Proverbs 4:20-25 Healing Words~ Listen carefully, my dear child, to everything that I teach you, and pay attention to all that I have to say. Fill your thoughts with my words until they penetrate deep into your spirit. Then, as you unwrap my words, they will impart true life and radiant health into the very core of your being. So above all, guard the affections of your heart, for they affect all that you are. Pay attention to the welfare of your innermost being, for from there flows the wellspring of life. Avoid dishonest speech and pretentious words. Be free from using perverse words no matter what! Watch Where You’re Going~ Set your gaze on the path before you. With fixed purpose, looking straight ahead, ignore life’s distractions.
Related And Growing Through
We are constantly learning and growing. It never stops. God is preparing us. Not so much for this world, but for the next, for what He has for us. That is why no matter how old or no matter how young, age matters not, we are all growing through this world, where we don’t belong, but are in. We are taught by the One Who knows us best, the One Who designed us in our mother’s womb for a time such as this, a time to purposefully be wholly-holy aligned with our Designer. I have a unique shape. I can see within my shape many of God’s gifts are designed to purposefully work together, woven with God’s Grace. So when God, Who is the Author of every relationship that touches my life, whether it is long, short, deep or acquaintance, He has a purpose for me and them, and we are the focus of His devotion, embraced by His Grace, lavished with His love.
“God’s response to the willful rebellion of His creatures was Grace! This grace justifies, providing complete forgiveness and unwavering acceptance with God. This grace adopts, welcoming us into His family with all the rights and privileges of true sons and daughters. This grace enables, empowering me to think, say and do things I could not do in my own strength. This grace transforms, radically changing every aspect of my life.” Paul David Tripp
God Clothes Our Soul Uniquely
God creates relationships and He owns them and through them He purposefully shapes us. Relationships are used for the good of us and the glory of His Kingdom. Our friendships are shaping us in Kingdom culture. As we connect our heart with God, we are taught, shaped and designed, He is a teacher of the spirit, a sculpture of the heart, and a the one Who clothes our soul with colorful, unique passion. God is not absent from our relationships, He has purposefully shaped them for us, for a time such as this. He is so present in that way we can’t even begin to imagine. He is shaping us through heart to heart relationship with Him and those He has created.
For love is supreme and must flow through each of these virtues. Love becomes the mark of true maturity. Let your heart be always guided by the peace of the Anointed One, who called you to peace as part of his one body. And always be thankful. Let the word of Christ live in you richly, flooding you with all wisdom. Apply the Scriptures as you teach and instruct one another with the Psalms, and with festive praises, and with prophetic songs given to you spontaneously by the Spirit, so sing to God with all your hearts! Let every activity of your lives and every word that comes from your lips be drenched with the beauty of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. And bring your constant praise to God the Father because of what Christ has done for you! Colossians 3:14- 17 The Passion Translation
God’s Care Brings Good For Us Glory
God has an endgame, it is all about us, it is all about us being prepared, day by day, relationship by relationship, moment to memory. This is being intentionally kingdom cultured, this is the adventure of relationship, knowing that God created each one, purposefully so, for every person connected, there is a divine design of kingdom culturing, of changing us up, in a time such as this, for a time such as His purposing.
Two Purposes Weaved Into Our Lives
We belong to a Triune God, the Father God is the Proof, the Son, Jesus is the Proven and the Holy Spirit is the Prover. We lack nothing. We will be divinely connected to an Infinite God, and sharpened by those He has created in His Image, prepared for our eternity, moment to memory, God is working out our salvation for our good and for His Kingdom Glory. This is the Intentionally Kingdom Cultured way of His Providential Care. The makeup of this incredible care holds two purposes that flow directly from His passionate heart to our lives, purposes of good for us and glory for His Kingdom. He weaves these two purposes into His Providential care for us and it creates God adventure like no other as we grow through from here to there unto forever.
God Is Love~ Those who are loved by God, let his love continually pour from you to one another, because God is love. Everyone who loves is fathered by God and experiences an intimate knowledge of him. The one who doesn’t love has yet to know God, for God is love. The light of God’s love shined within us when he sent his matchless Son into the world so that we might live through him. This is love: He loved us long before we loved him. It was his love, not ours. He proved it by sending his Son to be the pleasing sacrificial offering to take away our sins. Delightfully loved ones, if he loved us with such tremendous love, then “loving one another” should be our way of life! 1 John 4:7-11
